Hmmm... Just implant two thermonuclear reactors in it and then input the F-35 steering system with slight modifications. Add two railguns that USNAVY is testing and couple of GAU A/V-8 Avenger gatling guns and it'll be goo.d Maybe a couple of MLRS class missiles too. And we'll have a good Gundam!

I've been thinking if they build Kira's Gundam (forgot name) how about asking his seiyuu to pilot it?
2 reasons why:
1. EPICNESS
2. Since he knows he's in a walking death trap he knows firsthand of the consequences (indirectly, of course) & try to finish it as quick as possible.
Since he really KNOWS Kira's character he will definitely use it while making as minimum damage as possible & push for peace in the region. (We'll be right behind you pal)

It's Strike Freedom, and while its a top Gundam, it can't compare to Wing Zero, 00 Raiser, God Gundam, or Turn A Gundam. Not counting UC Gundams since their superiority is dependent on armor and newtypes.
Kira would be a terrible choice as a pilot as nobody would have the level of plot shield he does. No one is going to survive Athrun's explosion (a God damn nuclear explosion) and came back to life after. Gundams are tools of war, and someone like Kira spouting his stupid philosophies aren't going to be the right choice in the real world.
