It's very cool but the composition kind of makes me think Naruto is the antagonist and his father is gonna give him a time out.

It's one of his better ones, but I think the cover with Naruto and Jiraiya (volume 42) is the best, then 38 (the one that looks like a gay romance novel cover- with Sasuke thinking about Naruto) They both are better because great emotional depth is quite successfully portrayed in a very understated manner.
I'm hoping he does covers in this style from now on with no white space on the cover- it gives the image a much stronger impact. I'd love to see a narusaku cover done like that- a mid range full length image of Naruto and Sakura embracing under a blooming cherry tree by a lake, with the wind blowing their hair, and the Hokage mountain visible in the distance at sunrise, perhaps...

I'm with you on that one for a popular manga like Naruto a Volume cover like this one is really lame, I've seen better on less popular mangas.
