The griffin/rat-bird/Falcor-looking "Guardian"? Yeah, it's got a big death flag (arrows stuck in its body in a lot of scenes). And knowing Team ICO, it'll still be near impossible not to get attached to it.

Finally! Kratos on Soul Calibur... He should've been the character, not Darth Vader

But, why is Conviction an exclusive? Damn it

Wish List: Assassin's Creed 2
Modern Warfare 2
Prototype
GOW3 of course
have yet to buy InFamous....and there goes my shot at Uncharted 2 beta
Uncharted 2
FF 13 and Versus
MGS: Rising
That's the list so far
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

And as expected from the group that brought us Ninja Gaiden..., awesome Samus....

Oh yes, I always forget to add..

Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII

on top of that, I might be getting XIV, Uncharted 2, GOW 3, Gran Turismo 5...

My wallet is going to be empty just by satisfying my gaming needs...

12 games x 69.99... a whopping 840 dollars. Wallet raping.

Bleh, so I've been offline for the past month and missed E3. I had hoped I would have come back online to an impressive showing by Nintendo this year. No such luck; the only thing that really makes you stand up and take notice in regards to the company is the Metroid: Another M announcement. Even the Mario announcement that I had a feeling was coming just doesn't cut mustard.

Otherwise, the show sounds like it was more exciting than the last two years by a wide margin. I'm particularly interested in seeing what's going to happen with this Castlevania reboot headed by Kojima.

Now it's all said and done... who had the best E3 conference?

Nintendo was meh...

Microsoft was alright with Project Natal, and a few games announced caught my attention.

Sony had the best, IMO. Lots of exclusives coming to them, props to them for finally getting their stuff together after last year's E3's fiasco. (To me, it was a fiasco)

Last years E3 was just a fiasco in general; no one brought their A game and Nintendo pissed everyone off.

I'd have to go with Sony for best for similar reasons.

Microsoft's was pretty decent overall. I have to say I'm not overly enthused with this "Natal" business, though. Stuff like that has been tried before and it never goes anywhere. I wish Microsoft would quit stuffing Rare on projects like that and have them get back to making games other than Viva Pinata.

Nintendo's was worse than meh to me. They had few new announcements worth paying attention to with the exception of Metroid: Other M. The Mario announcement was shockingly disappointing. Half of what they did show we already knew about long in advance of the show. It wasn't as bad as last year, but Nintendo still fails to impress; and with the other two moving in on their motion sensing tech, they won't be able to skate with the Wii for much longer.

I lol'd @ the Wii Vitality Monitor.

Somebody on Kotaku just said: What, are they going around the hospital and thinking stuff up? "Does that wastepan come in white?"

I just cringed. I don't care how much staff claim otherwise; it really does seem sometimes like Nintendo makes any crap Wii gadget idea shot their way. Sadly, it seems to work for them.

Seriously though, is there anyone on the planet that could possibly get excited about the Wii Vitality monitor?

If they're looking to use a video game attachment for medical reasons, I want to know which hospital they're at so I can completely avoid it. XD

Which one do you think was more impressive? Natal or PS3's new motion controller?

Natal seems rather impressive.

It does really. But I can't help to think that everything in that trailer was rigged. I dunno. Maybe inside my mind I just think it's not possible. But taking that aside...

THIS IS DA' 360 WE'RE TALKING ABOUT.

The Natal program will be filled with bugs. A lot of them. And at least a year will pass to silence the bugs.

[I own a 360 and I love it. But sometimes we gotta be realistic.]

The PS3 motion controller...seems...nice? Yeah....sorry. Not really impressed, mostly due to the fact I don't own a PS3.
