At this point I feel like a broken record, but all I can say is to have patience which is hard for some of us (not calling out on no one), but to be reasonable there will be one coming it's just probably gonna happen in a way we don't expect it similar to when Naruto and his dad reunited. I will say however that we get something similar to 2011 OVA. 

Thought I'd share this, it's not official, but a fan art of NaruSaku from The Last. 

But why did chapt 1 have like 50 pages?

I think that's because it was the very first chapter to Naruto, and probably made that Kishi's only exception. I mean the only other time I can see this occuring again is for the last chapter of the manga (whenever that happens). 

So apparently I got an early copy of Volume 67 (latest one in USA), and this came to me as a surprise.

Sakura made it on the back cover with Naruto and Sasuke.

Just found out that the DVD and Bluray release of Road to Ninja: Naruto The Movie will br November 25th, 2014. Also Viz Media has announced that there will also be a Bluray + DVD combo for the movie.

I'm  definitely keeping November 25th as an important date to pick up Road to Ninja, but I am sorta bummed about the special features because I was kind hoping for The Prologue Episode and The Road to Sakura Episode to make it in. Oh well, are you guys excited to finally buy Road to Ninja? Let's not also forget the NaruSaku greatness that was given to us in this movie by Kishi himself. 

Lol, I remember reading an article on The Last Movie about two days ago. They gave a description for all of the characters who got new designs. Sakura's description was "Naruto's love interest".

Here I am sitting in the background with these faces        NH/SS  gonna have a rough time since their godess (Hinata)  didn't end up with her man (Naruto), and Almighty (Sasuke) didn't end up with his woman (Sakura.) Don't mean to be bashing, but I'm just speaking the truth.

I think the wait's gonna kill us since it'll take about 6 months for us to see The Last in subbed believe. Wasn't it like this with RTN where it came out on July of 2012 in and we didn't get it subbed till like May or June of 2013? 

So initially I was going to avoid to these two episodes, but all the talk about it peaked my interest, and honestly....

Wow looks I was stuck in the cryotube for a short amount of time, but here are my thoughts on the chapter: 

Side Note: Forgot to mention that the Kurama and Naruto bits were also hilarious in the chapter too. Now we just got to wait for The Road to NaruSaku! to finally take place.   

As long as we get another story arc after the time setting of the movie and NS becomes canon i'll be happy no matter what.

I agree, but i guess any series can have a not so great arc. I mean the two best examples are from Bleach and Fairy Tail.

Bleach:

Fullbring Arc: I remember when this arc start people complained alot and it ended being the worst in the series. Even though I found some good moments in the arc itself.  After that came The Thousand Year Blood War Arc which so far is amazing with a few minor nitpicks here and there. 

Fairy Tail:

Grand Magic Games Arc:   Mad people dropped off the face the planet when it came to this arc, and I was one of them. Then came The Tartarus Arc which by far is looking pretty good so far, and it brought some of the old fans back.

What's My Point Here? If you noticed it has similar effect to Bleach where one arc was bad, but the next one turns out be good/great/amazing. Though we do have to see how these two arcs end and make a proper judgment. However based on how they are now they're looking pretty promising so far. 

I mean The Fourth Great Ninja War is far better than both of these arcs, but when it comes to the rest of the arcs in Naruto it's definitely not one of  best arcs in the series for sure. So I've still got some hope for the next arc in the series.  That's how i'm viewing this whole situation, what do you guys think?

Is it possible that we have been in this arc for so long that it is just too hard to believe it may be actually over for some people?

It's interesting that you brought this up. I was reading Naruto up to Pain Arc, and took a 6 month to 1 year hiatus, and caught up to the war right when Naruto and Killer Bee were about to fight off against Itachi and Nagato. Of course back then I didn't analyze the whole volumes schematic of the series, but I mean this war all started with Volume 55 and it ends here with Volume 71.

If you do the math, 71 - 55 = 16 (Volumes) 

16 Volumes for a Naruto Arc!!!

That's pretty crazy to think about, and l do think we'll get a complete wrap up of the arc in 691, and possibly 692. I mean if it goes past that and the wrap continues in 693 then we're gonna have some problems. Though I have faith in Kishi especially when it comes to the next arc.  

Hey this might sound like a joke, and I remember Hidan kept blabbering about Lord Jashin during The Immortal Akatsuki Arc. Yes he kept saying that alot in that arc alone, but something got me thinking in case there's gonna be a part 3. What if The main focus of Part III was to deal with Lord Jashin. Now granted he probably just said it "Because it's something he believes in.", but when you think about "We never really knew anything about him." At the end of the day it is Kishi's story and he can do whatever he wants with it, but I don't know I just thought it would be cool to throw a fun theory around.

The only thing I will say though is that chapter makes me strongly believe that Volume 71 is now done. Which means starting next week Volume 72 will begin with Chapter 691.

The time has come for The New Three Way Deadlock to emerge. There is a small filler scene, but I think it kinda fits with what the episode has to deal with. Minato's name creation of the jutsu was ridiciously long, but at least he admitted it wasn't a good idea. Then we've got the question about Sasuke as to what his motives are and how his wind is unpredictable. Overall, I loved Team 7 and how they've become The New Three Way Deadlock as Hiruzen points out.
