Well the basic locations and everything are the same. BUT there wasn't any romantic undertones in the game when Sorey made Alisha his Squire was there?   Anyway my point is the anime could potentially be different from the anime, but if it's not,oh well.

 

Doesn't mean that Sorey and Alisha is not valid, because contrary to what the creator's say I think they have potential, and the actual so called "couple" was ambiguous to it's end, plus their reasons for making that couple I call BS on, so I ignore it in any case

Baba made poor choices with Zestiria that it's hard to trust it and Alisha is far more interesting than Sorey to me since her story connects better with Berseria in a way (from what was given at least). Sorey had romantic undertones with everyone....it was weird and cringy to see it

Oh I'll be hopeful about it still, because it's not the game and again there are story differences so far. And I don't think Sorey had romantic undertones with  "everyone", just Mikleo and Alisha. Heck, in the game He and Rose shot down the idea that they are a couple, and act like best friends in any regard. And I feel nothing with Lailah and Edna

LOVED IT!!!!!!!! I still haven't played the game yet because I want to play with my brother and we're both busy these days. But this should satisfy me til then lol. The Animation, fight scenes, and music were all well done! I freaking loved Alisha too. Poor thing, to go through such heart break

 

Don't bother the game is not worth it I didn't like the style Zestiria is my least favorite game. However the anime is way better than the game.

Weird right? Tales game usually are told really well and to see the anime having to justify and fix the story just made Zestiria so disappointing, I heard good thing about Berseria though, thank goodness for that

Oh I already got the game, So I'm gonna play it with my brother. Don't worry bud I don't think it will disappoint me so badly that I lose faith in Tales

Yeah exactly she is a beloved character that was not done justice so that probably is why they expanded her role more in the anime. Plus on the topic of parings which is which is not nearly as improtant but still relevant, What did they mean orey wouldn't be interested in a "conventional romance?" I really don;t understand that part. Isn't same sex relationships still conventional if you think about it? It isn't as uncommon as you think, plus they COULD have just gone with the Vesperia route and not make any couples official but just nudge at the possibility of it. I SERIOUSLYthink they went left field jsut for the sake of it and to give fanservice to the yaoi fangirls. I'm not saying I have a problem with it but they are not giving good reasons for any of their decisions on this game particularly, and it shows. It fact, my brother admits game play aside he sees a lot of validity of fan complaints in both story and character treatment/development

Yeah I heard Berseria is way better than Zestiria. The battle style is more faster and accurate having a combination of Graces's and Xillia's style.

Xillia was alright but Graces battle system was fun! So that's actually good to hear xD

Story and character development was mess....Baba confirmed...well I guess he did....Sorey and Mikleo which is whatever but the mid game part felt rushed and too much. Gameplay....that gameplay.......needs to disappear....it won't take you away from Tales but it will make you disappointed that this game had so much potential that you wonder what happened during the production
