Honestly I just want them to get to the Kaguya fight already so we can see how bad Pierrot is at animating Kaguya herself. xD
I doubt they are going to anime her badly since I strongly believe Kaguya was Pierrot's creation to make that contrived connection to Hinata.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

It probably is, the byakugan is a hint to that at least. My guess is the originally madara was suppose to be the final villain, but the people making the last realized that the manga and the final villain had barely anything connected to hinata (nothing really but that beside the point). So they asked him to make something to somewhat connected to the hyuuga. So they could make hinata more important. They probably brought up the point that in theory the sharingan was suppose to descend from the byakugan as justification but then again it's sp they ain't that smart.

Until pein Arc, the legend only said that Sage of the Sixth Path aka Hagoromo travel around the wrold teaching nin to people, and then the legends change ... long ago Hagoromo fight, defeat, and become 10 tails jinchuriki and he split him into 9 tailed beast. And then again the legends change, Hagoromo has mother name Kaguya that eats the fruit from 10 tails, resulting 10 tails get angry and attack humans, Kaguya gave birth to Hagoromo. And lastly Hagoromo has brother Hamura, they work together seal their own mother Kaguya 
God only knows what and why the legends change soo much and it happen in war arc. To make our new main heroine byakugan princess hime sama relevant.
An out of control man needs a strong woman to control him.
And even a violent woman will become soft and tender to the man she love.

You still watch the anime?
I have not seen any episodes. But there weren't any SS spm on my tumblr account so that was atleast a good sign. As welll as the pairing parallels in the opening....though that could just be an amazing coincidence and/or manipulation to bring in more views.
