I was done with this franchise after reading the Naruto Gaiden. I felt like I lost 70% of my IQ, reading that garbage from beginning to end. 

 

There was still 1% that cared about how bad it will turn out. But after experiencing something truly horrible in real life. Simple I really don't care anymore... at all...

This website still keeps up with series from the new generation like Gaiden and Boruto the movie. So in a sense we havent really moved on

I'd say the only ones from this site who have moved on are members like Chatte and Lady GT who almost never visit this website anymore.

that's not true at all and is kind of a jerkish mindset, there are plenty of people here that still come to talk about naruto, and its not because of naruto itself, its because they love this forum and the people within it, its one of the most friendly forums on the net, you can actually have a conversation without a fanboy biting your head off and actually has mods that try to keep things calm  and even prevent cursing unlike most forums nowadays. I for example still come on here once in a while, because I love talking to people here, I'm not here every day nor do I always talk about the ending, still come though to talk to everyone, because I consider everyone here good people, who aren't like the youtube crowd and actually have conversations not about pairings, and can actually talk about other things besides naruto or its pairings and actually are pleasant to be around, which is hardly ever a thing online with trolls and etc everywhere nowadays.

its basically a safe haven for all the sane naruto fans and a place for those fans to talk together about the things they enjoy, inside and outside naruto, why do you want so bad for them to leave? 

 

just because people come to this forum talking about naruto doesn't mean they haven't moved on from naruto, moving on from something does not mean forgetting it even exists and leaving all the friendly people involved in it behind.

I still get to know some news about it but only when it shows on my fb or other sites i visited.

But i would still find myself checking on this site.

Sure..the series became such a mess and i dont know the people here personally but this was such a great haven during THAT time..and so i just dont want this site to end up dead.

It isnt much about NARUTO anymore..but more on checking how things are with the people here.

Plus you can get some good recomendations of other anime/manga from the people who are more likely have the same taste as yours.

I'm less a Naruto fan and more an NS fan myself, guys. I checked out after Gaiden too, since it ended up being horse crap like the rest of the series after 699 and 700. So being a part of the NS community helps since we've established a way better canon than what Kishi (I'm sorry, Studio Pierrot) has established just to appeal to the fringe element of the nutjobs in the NH community.

i agree I'm more of an NS fan, and was a fan of the TRUE naruto, and sakura...sometimes i wonder "why is japan sending us their leftover boruto trash!?...what pissed THEM off this time! lol?" they pretty much "nuclear bombed" the naruto series though :(i guess it was the otaku, weaboos', fanboys, fangirls' and boruto is just a way of saying "ENOUGH ALREADY! JUST CREATE YOUR OWN VERSION OF NARUTO WE ARE DONE!".who knows. NH/SS ruined the fandom for everyone. but, the naruto fandom isn't the only one that's divided.

 

there are people out there who wont let anyone enjoy anything,and those who DO truly love the original are to "scared" of "being rude" by saying anything.seriously when it comes to politics and religion people'll speak up but when it comes to anime/manga  they just brush it off pretending to be okay with everything like perfect little know it alls'

 

saying things like "o well, its not real", "its fiction" "there's no hope anymore lets accept and move on", "oh well, get over it" even i don't treat people who still have hope, and want to believe in something, like THAT!. i hope this post isn't offensive but I'm really tired of how the anime/manga community is being destroyed cause the "FANS" [not the HATERS] don't care...or act like they don't care anymore when i KNOW they DO.

I admit that NS isn't my OTP...I'm not a pairing person at all actually ((unless the girl(s) I like are with me <<      >>   XD)).

As I mentioned before, if there is going to be pairings in an anime/manga/etc. then I expect there to be believable development to justify the pairing(s) in the end, regardless of who gets with who. So while NS may not be an OTP for me, I can definitely say that I support NS/SK far, far, far, far, far more than NH/SS solely because of said believable development (both individually as well as mutually between them) whereas NH/SS causes all of the characters, and even those around them, to regress and seemingly lose any and all development they may have had prior. With NH, if you have to force ALL the other characters to change, especially negatively, just to accommodate a single pairing, I think that's a pretty obvious show of just how severely underdeveloped the pairing is and how it just can't work at that point.

This is why there are countless NH/SS fanfics that are far, far, far, far, far superior to the anime/manga; the authors are able to start things off from the very beginning (usually even before the canon beginning) and then build things up between the characters bit by bit, giving them that development that Kishi never bothered to, so when they do end up together, it's actually believable and justified most of the time.

the fact they forced naruhina to happen is worst than jar jar binks and the star wars holiday special combined, this is how you ruin a franchise to the point of no return.

That never should have happened in canon, as I believed Sasuke x Sakura was absolutely absurd based on, how the manga portrayed the couple as an abusive paring. Abuse is not just physical but emotional, as well, as a way to control your spouse, which did set off my alarm bells on overdrive with this paring with the way he treated her as a burden.

Now, I would have preferred Sasuke be forever alone in canon, as I don't think he was mentally stable at that time to have a relationship. However, the small development that Sasuke had with Karin was to me the at least see it, as a possibility until the great stabbing her in the heart thing. A more self confident Karin with Sasuke would have been the best option for me for him, as he did seem to care for her a lot more than Sakura. I also could have foreseen Sakua ending up with Naruto, as they had the most development in the manga. I don't have to have it at the top of my list to see it as a better option.

No kidding. I know for Digimon Adventure 02, it killed me when Matt and Sora felt forced together without real proper development outside of common interactions and all that, and all because 02's director said he didn't wanna be "cliche" regarding Tai and Sora being together, even if they had the development, the connections, and the scenes. XP

It can vary from person to person.

For some, it can mean dropping/ignoring anything and everything that has to do with Naruto.

For others, it can mean doing similar, but only up to a certain point of the story, where they feel things really went bad.

For others, it simply means they will no longer financially support it; buying the manga, games, merchandise, etc.

And so on.

 

Me? I'm burning my stuff if I can't sell it. Well actually Id'need to pick a safe and private spot where the fire can be contained.
