So I did the basics and waited to see if it would get any bigger, unfortunately, on Friday it flared up twice its size so I knew I would need to get the operation done.
Now, Im a vet student, with alot of experience and knowledge in this area, however, I wanted to do it right and decrease the chance of severe scar tissue buildup, However, the vet I take her to, told me he would fix her up...for $900 DOLLARS!
I know this surgery is just a drainage procedure with un-needed medication afterwards (mostly for the pain and sedation/antibiotics which I can get pretty easily)
After a WTF moment, I decided to bite the bullet and do it myself.
We set up the laundry room and BAM, Problem solved.
