Nah, but seriously... Did Sasuke have to literally appear and more to the point, was he given the same speech as Naruto? If so...ugh, I'd rather Sasuke not pull a 360 in terms of "personality". And typical, we miss a good portion of the fight offscreen, though it appears their's a second technique Guy can use (which we unfortunately all know will be futile in the end)

Actually I'm really chilled. My problem is that they will use this as evidence, when it isn't.

My bigger concern was Naruto learned about Obito's help, but not Sakura's

Those arguments are too manipulated to make sense and they don't deserve our time.

I'm not sure why Saskue got an other powerup for. It kind of takes away from Naruto being the hero and child of prophecy and all that. But I also feel like this time Naruto and Saskue were made equals. That way one didnt feel superior to the other. The problem will still be, just as it was in the past, the people will admire and respect Naruto while they will (probably) dislike and distrust Saskue. They may still be destined to fight after all. Looks like next chapter Naruto and Saskue might wake up though. Probably on the last page.

Thoughts

Not a bad chapter, it was worth the read and it explained a bit more about the plot, although why am I not surprised Sasuke had to show up as well? Because he's important to the plot and needs to help Naruto defeat Madara, but also provide Naruto with an end villain or at least remind him that things won't end peacefully.

This chapter is almost so fantastical that the reader is left in disbelief about whether the original author actually wrote it or not. Many of the predictions that people were creating are becoming accurately true now.

Hagoromo meeting with Naruto and Sasuke, the prophecies once orchestrated by the puppeteers behind the curtain fully arriving onto the stage, additional exposition, both characters taking up the mantle and receiving even more power-ups...

 

Now the Byakugan is front and center next to the Sharingan. It's not the incalculable amounts of vitriol or chest-thumping that this revelation concerning the Hyuga, which will likely coerce people to perch Hinata on an even higher pedestal, that's troubling, it's the fact that a half-hearted quip made back during the middle of Part 1 now holds far more weight by comparison than how it was treated before this chapter. Did anyone anticipate the Hyuga having any relation to the Sage or this conversation besides just their most zealous fans? God... If their significance to the plot is amplified at the expense of any core cast members (Sakura most importantly) then it's going to be disappointing.

 

On the bright side, at least there was some light shed on how Madara acquired the Rinnegan and what Naruto foresaw in Sasuke. Also it seems that Guy is holding his own against Madara and he has another technique that he has yet to use. His efforts definitely warrant credit since he's spearheading the attack right now.

Ok I liked everything except that mention of the Byakugan, cause given how the NH fandom and some hyuga fans will react. Oh well I guess its tying up that lose end Kakashi made said in part 1. Though I am curious what Gai's next move is and whether or not we see Naruto wake up.

Eh still conflicted on how I feel about the whole reincarnation thing. Ashura waited quite a while if his last reincarnation before Naruto was Hashirama, also that makes me think did Madara die before Sasuke was born? He was obviously still alive when he saved Obito and Rin died but had he died by the time Obito attacked Konoha? I can't remember the timeline of that.

 

Honestly it's odd to have the Byakugan suddenly be brought up again, for the longest time it has just been about the Sharingan and Rinnegan. So if Kaguya had the Byakugan and Sharingan but not the Rinnegan does that mean the Rinnegan is like a combination of both? Because I thought all Dojutsu are derived from the Rinnegan which was derived from the Byakugan and Sharingan? Ahh I'm confused.

I wouldn't read that much into it. Jiraiya is an incredibly important person to Naruto and he's partially hidden behind the speech bubble and Sai gets it even worse I don't think he's there at all, poor Jiraiya and Sai. Sasuke and Sakura are by far the most prominent and they are on either side of Naruto but it's just not that big a deal, let them believe what they wish.

 

Yamato's not there either, god even in internal monologues he's forgotten and I think that's Konohamaru beside Tsunade but I'm not sure.

 

Speaking of that friends speech, are we supposed to be led that Naruto and Sasuke gave the same speech? Or is what Sasuke said just not important?

aside from your sasuke ranting yeah there gonna use that and they will use the selfish line remember when naruto thought of himself as being selfish in 628 they will use the selfish line here as so called nh proof
