Wait it had to be requested that Naruto be a main character in a movie called "NARUTO THE LAST MOVIE?" Who were they thinking would become the main character of the movie? That is what i want to know. That's stupid. How could he say this in a interview.Is he not self aware?

 "From there, we thought about what Naruto was lacking, and came up with “romantic feelings.” It was decided that we would make Naruto’s last movie a “romance movie” instead of an “action movie.”

And look how it turned out from there. The thing people hated about it was that it was a movie solely focus on the romance the fact that the romance and how they got together were so poorly thought out and done just made it worse.

...That was the first idea that pop into their heads? The most ridiculous and corniest moment in the entire movie. This were the people behind that the last? If that the case then the last never had a chance at being good.

So they built the entire movie around the scarf and this scene?...*throws arms up into the air* (Edit: Episode not chapter?)

Didn't we kind of see the Hyuuga's residence in both the manga (before the time skip) and the anime (a lot of filler) already?

God that sounds pretentious! And once again it all about images and looks and style and not story. The writer and director care more about how scene looks then what is said in those scenes!

He wasn't "dense in figuring out romantic feeling" it just that he wasn't interest in dating hinata and was attracted to sakura. He knew what hinata's confession was and didn't reciprocate it. Once again style and look over what is said in the scene.

"I think it was difficult to come up with images for this work, and we originally created Toneri with an image like that of young Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands. Toneri can’t understand the feelings of others because he lived alone on the moon since he was young, and so he’s a character who lacks romance for reasons different from Naruto’s."

My god. Those idiots. Do they not get what he is saying. That means it was a rivalry and a competition between those two. So what we were saying about Naruto now only caring about hinata because it was a competition is right. Did anyone think he looked like that? He honestly look-like a generic white hair anime pretty boy.

We had the scenario checked by Kishimoto-sensei. I appreciate that amidst being busy with serialization, he kindly gave us various advice. He also wrote some of the important lines such as, “It takes time to knit a scarf.”

That not a line to be proud of... was that really the best kishi offered you for this story?!

By the way, we made sure to show the key shot of Hinata facing sideways. The side-facing heroine is homage to Alfred Hitchcock’s impressively produced “Vertigo” and director Nobuhiko Obayashi’s “Sabishinbou.”

Once again looks were more important than the story's plot.

Since this production is Naruto’s last movie, I tried to have fun while looking back on “Naruto’s memories,” then I put my feelings that this would be a work of everyone’s new “memories” into directing. I will be happy if this production always stays in the corner of everyone’s heart as a “memory.”

Wait it wasn't kishimoto that came up with the stupid scarf idea but the writer or the movie...They were hoping on the idea of kishi saying it would soften up the fans to the movie before it even aired. Also hanabi you're right it "aesthetics over everything else." If that was the entire interview than the only time he came close to talking about anything story/plot related was the idea about toneri character and even then he messed up and talk pretentiously about what inspired his looks.

...Also one more thing notice how he keeps going on and on about getting ideas from episodes not chapters. So this was an anime inspired idea that gave little importance to the manga in was suppose to be canon to, and it suppose to be based off of.

Agree, but I'll say we should just be patient to see where SP goes with the anime. We all know they already have a bad reputation for animating Tokyo Ghoul and LoK. Their reputation has already been tarnished. 

Honestly i think SP reputation came from the 90's and their making of shows like Yu Yu hakasho. Which is why SJ gave them two stories Bleach and Naruto to work on and why Tokyo Ghoul was also added to the mix. Now you can plant the ending of the bleach anime more on Tite than anyone else, but the fall of Naruto and the lack of quality of tokyo ghouls can land mostly at their feet.

nH had the most vocal fanbase because they had all those loser that did those weekly chapter reviews on YouTube. 

I told you SP made a complete mockery of Kishi's story.

They always mostly only seemed to care about hinata's story than Naruto's. Then once you see the story they wanted to make the last even Naruto's ending looks better by comparison.

I think she has more than anyone right to complain about her husband's work. For one thing she is his wife and if your spouse can't be honest with you what does that say about you're relationship?  And two here is an important really thing to remember Kishi's message since the ending to his children he been "Stop complaining that I don't/didn't spend time with you. Suck it up and love and respect me now, while I do nothing to actually gain your love or respected, and make several stories where this is the message i wanted you to ultimately gain from about 16 years of my time as a mangaka. Since this seems to be the one thing consistent with the manga ending, the gaiden, and the bolt movie." He even admits that they stories are messages to his children. So kishi is sending a negative message directly to her kids and she is suppose to just lay down and take it? What type of parent would she be if she didn't try to protect her kids from this? 

Also everyone has the right to voice their opinion about a product. Which is what Naruto ultimately is a story that people are paying to read, and or watch for over 15 years. If I working at a store gave a family spoiled milk that they fed their baby. The parents are in their right to complain to the store about us not making sure our stuff is up to standard/code. Or are you telling me the store should just tell the parents to stop being "soo salty" and then force more spoiled milk down the babies throat? 

I think the better question is...did they actually watch this movie? From what I have seen, these pro-enders never even watched Naruto the Last and only assume what the plot is about. Truebond shows it scene by scene.....and yet look at the pro-ender reviews and they skip most of this stuff.

To be honest how many people actually saw the last in theaters? It made about $500,000 OK let say that's each ticket is $10 that 50,000 people. Now not everyone who watched that was a nH fan some were fans that left years ago and came to see it because it was the last movie, some were NS fans who wanted to not be the "radical NS fans" like us and wanted to appear "tolerant" to the ending, you had casuals watch it, and you also had people who just wanted an excuse to cosplay, and also their are those people that actually watch a movie multiple times in a theater. So in other word not everyone who saw it were nH fans. Also I recall hearing a lot of stories of people either deciding to just wait for it to appear online before they watched it or they just watch the leaked version. Sawyer did a video where he reviewed the leaked version, and he is someone who kishimoto actually watches. To be honest most of them probably did this they watched it online for free and they skipped the boring parts for both the last and bolt.

So the "fans" of these movies that are calling them masterpieces are watching only the parts they like skipping and ignoring the parts they hate, and then replacing those part with justification while ignoring those parts they had problems with, because these are their goddess movies they must be perfect with only the most minor ignore-able flaws.

It is a real shame that  only few fans , if any ,  will ever remember Naruto for being more than just Boruto's kitten dad .

Bolt looks like that series is NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN because of how bad the franchise reputation has been damaged over the last year. Honestly most will remember that awful ending and in japan they will remember the bs that happened after to justify it.

Ok apparently hinata's charge to save Naruto wasn't actually of screen. So all we really see hinata doing is standing behind Ino with her daughter watching while she says Naruto-kun. Then Bolt is in hospital and Sakura is healing hinata's injures.

I just watched a few secs of the video, the guy's an idiot and thinks the other side of the world decides if japanese games are actually good, riiiight, I wonder why rockman operate shooting star never came here then if america and the other countries decided if japanese games do well? I wonder why the other countries are the big difference when the digimon games still have alot of good games that are japan only? 

apparently he and others went on the actual japanese feedback page  of a game company that's for the japanese market acting like they're entitled to the games instead of MAKING A PETITION LIKE MOST PEOPLE   no wonder the japanese fans were pissed....

I'll start with his comment for his video (haven't heard a word of what he said yet)" "We're Allowed To Have an Opinion, Get Over It!" while that is right. It comes off as incredibly thinned skin. So he admit in the title he pissed off the Japanese fans, but his first thought is then to tell his audience that the Japanese fans should just get over it?

Now before i do anything else let me state my opinion on why most Japanese games really never leave their country. I have sister that constantly complains about it when a game comes out she wants in Japan but isn't coming over to the states, so i had to think about this before. I think it stems from the same reason they did the Naruto ending they way they did. Most of them either don't want to risk making their game international or can't afford to make their games international.

Let look at Naruto vs one piece vs bleach games. Have most of you seen more naruto games come to the states then either or those other two? Why is that? Well Oda said in the interview with kishi, he may have japan market but kishi has the international market. So because of this mind-set the probably exist throughout SJ that Naruto sells big and better internationally then both Bleach and one piece. They're more willing to make Naruto's game so international more frequently over one piece or bleach or any other SJ protagonist (except Dragonball of course) because they feel assured that the game will sell well, while they don't have such confidence with both One piece and Bleach. You can say the same thing with pokemon or metal gear or resident evil or final fantasy. Those developers feel assured those game will sell well internationally.

Now lets look at Naruto The Last movie a movie made for the American fanbase in theory. This is the story the American fanbase always wanted, they dreamed about, they craved for, and would be willing to pay money for. SP and SJ had such confidence that the international and more importantly US fanbase would give so much money that they were willing to risk losing the Japanese fanbase for this movie enough to convince kishi to make the ending nH. Well what happened was that Japanese fanbase that have outright hatred for the movie still gave them $16 million, while in the US the people this movie was made for only shell out a measly $500,000. Now let take that and apply it to games. Let say a game in Japan makes $16 million which they consider successful enough to decide they want to ship it to the US where they then make $500,000. Would you consider going international for those developers worth it? Cause remember it not a flat out $500,000 you would have to factor in production, localization, and, distribution among other things into it. At the end of the day they may have even lost money.

Now I doubt a game would make so little money but the point still stands that Japanese developers may not want to risk their game not making enough money by going international that they would rather their games simply stay in Japan. Why spend money when you can't even expect a return in profit? My make a big risk when you might not make a return on it? A way to convince the developers are those petitions, because those give enough confidence to the developers that there are enough people around the world that want to play their game for them to risk them going international with their game.

Ok. Now to read the comment section (I really don't like listening to foreverworld). Whelp I have forgotten what it is like to read a YouTube comment section.*sigh* OK from what i can understand from the comments is that forever world and others were voting on a site for the next "musou" game. The Dynasty Warrior style games. From the comments it sounds like World was voting for a either a Naruto mosou game (yep that will piss the Japanese off since most of them want Naruto franchise to die already) or Bleach (which is only barely hanging on and is basically one foot in the grave with the mangaka continuously delaying the execution...also it apparently already has a musou game in fact i think it was release in the US) while the Japanese wanted a Love Live mosou game (... I have never heard of it and have no clue what that is *look for a wiki site* http://love-live.wik.../wiki/Main_Page ...ah *scrolls down*...well... it claims to have over 20 million player world wide). Wait forever world goes to "planet fitness?!" Also he seemed to use google translate to read the comments. So he doesn't have a friend in Japan?

While most of them supported him or called the Japanese xenophobic then suggest nuking Japan again for being racist and to force them to globalize. Their were some good ones:

You wanna know what Hinata confession was (lke most of her scene's) do you know the guy who reviewed the star wars prequel on red letter media did a podcast where again reviewed the phantom menance for the theater release?

Well do you all remember the scene where aniken is working on the pod then jin give him a gadget he puts on the pod and if fires up and aniken starts going "IT'S WORKING!" "IT'S WORKING"  and the emotional music play while it starting up. While the guy points out how odd it is since this is the first time we saw this pod but were being told by the movie that that the pod running properly was a big emotional success. Then he went on to say clearly lucas wanted to have the scene like in those old kid racing movies where they have to fix a go cart to race down the hill but for half the movie it always breaks down until the last moment right before the big race where the gokart suddenly finally works and the boy races down the entire hill. But since we just saw the pod for the first time that scene we don't get the big emotional moment they were trying for because there was no build up to that scene. Cause the scene to fall flat.

It's the same thing with the hinata love confession by the fans the scene is treat by both the anime and the nH fans like it this big scene that like the entire manga has been building up to that like the nH romance is the actually core story while everything else is filler and we just saw the big pay off of hundred of scenes building up to it. When really it was a red lip alligator moment that only makes sense now because we have learned that the editors were forcing hinata on kishi at the time. But the nH fan and causal eat it up like it was a big scene and have never let go of it, because they are just assuming the build up happened.

So the main character had to grow out of his childhood crush to teach kids about growing up or something? Why is it only Naruto had to grow out of his childhood crush? When with everyone else it was ok. In fact the writer of the article is happy hinata got together with her childhood crush.

Didn't read it just skimmed through it. One of those images of hinata are only from the anime. The thing is that the reason why the debate isn't ending is because everyone knows that the ending was a last minute retcon nH and ss deny it because they got what they wanted and are defending it to the bitter end. Despite it currently failing in Japan because they hate the ending and if firstevil's source is to be believed if the bolt movie merchandise doesn't sell well enough then the Naruto anime will be canceled.

The thing is that the pairing weren't equal and were't given equal screen time in the anime or the manga. The manga was until the pain arc almost solely NS, while the anime because some of the workers on the Naruto anime team were hinata fans tried to push nH. Hinata only had really four arc were she was even for a scene relevant, while both the anime and the manga could help but to bash ss every chance they got.

To be honest I never really wanted Hinata to end up with Naruto not because i hate her character but because i hate her fanbase.

But getting it from a story perspective hinata is a non existent in the manga for the most part.

The first time she appeared was the chunin exam arc where her purpose in the story was not to start up her romance with naruto. It was to be the nice kind girl that was friendly to naruto, so when she got beaten up by neji it would motivate us and Naruto for that fight in the exam, and to give naruto motivation for his training with jiraiya.

Next time she appeared was at the end of part one when naruto was leaving neji suggested that she go see naruto and kiba tells him and us that she once tried visiting him in the hospitable but fainted and hasn't see or tried to talked to him for 3 months while he waited for jiraiya.

First time we see her in part two it just to reestablish the other teams and how they grown in the past 2 1/2 years.

Then she and Naruto are finally on a team and actually have to pair up with yamato but more or less they have alone time to bond. What is her reason for being pair up with him for the story during the hunt for itachi arc? When Kabuto appears she can tell us how far orochimaru cells have infected his body...no really that is it.

Now to be honest it not require for a love interest to be major part of the story. As long as she expresses Her Love of her feeling towards him and he acknowledges those feeling then it all good.

Now saying that lets get to Hinata's love confession and Naruto reaction towards it. Hinata charges in and attacks Pain Naruto says she should run because there is now way of her being able to beat him and Pain will likely kill her. She agrees says she is selfish then tells him her feeling towards him. He is shocked into silence, and she charges then seem to die. Now I think we all agree by now that the reason she did that is because she couldn't bare the thought of Naruto or her dying with out him knowing of her feeling towards him. She her love confession was basically a suicide note. Now Naruto after that incident does not talk to hinata about it at all and makes no clue to the reader if he even acknowledge the confession in anyway after. So her confession was rejected.

After that Sakura had her confession (where naruto has a conversation about it and that confession had some importance to the plot) and for the most part the war arc is basically was a ping pong between NS and nH moment between the two (somewhat). That is until Neji death.

Neji's death was basically Hinata true big moment her cousin died and she "inspired" Naruto (with the help of kurama) so at that time you could consider her one chance of her taking over the heroine status (in theory). But does anyone remember how that went? She about 2-3 chapter where she was important then we had a sasuke arc and then by 15 chapters after her big moment sakura had her big speech and was back in the reins of indisputable heroine status.  Then Minato asked if she was Naruto girlfriend which naruto said more or less and she did not say no to. Then Minato her compared her to his wife.

The final time she ever had a shot of importance in the story was when Naruto was dying. What happened? Kiba told her to look with her white eyes to see how naruto doing. She did realized her was dying and immediately started running and then almost immediately trip on a rock and fell and didn't get up laying there begged ghost neji to look over Naruto. While she was doing that Sakura was fighting to keep Naruto alive even reaching into his chest to pump his heart and giving him cpr.

Last time we see her before the end she is just standing some where getting caught up in the IT. We don't even know if she tried to go after gaara or if she gave and just waited around to see what would happen.

Also one more thing Kushina when talking to Naruto when he was battling kurama gave a list of commands she gave to him when her and minato were dying. Naruto once the battle was over immediately went over the list to see how he was doing with all her commands. When his dad was disappearing he then told his dad how he was doing on the list so he can tell kushina how naruto is doing. So clearly that list instantly became important to him because it represented his mother's love and concern towards him. One of the thing on the list "avoid weird girl and find a girl like your mother." Why would Naruto who seem to really consider this list really important suddenly abandon it the same reason why he abandon his mother scarf in the last. It basically pro NS and anti nH. So you must throw away his feeling towards his mother and make it so that hinata was the first and only person who ever loved him and she is the only person he truly loves.

That the problem with her if she was in the background and just married Naruto at the end it would have been tolerable. But instead they are trying to justify the ending by playing up her importance which she just doesn't have in the story. Not only that but by doing so it brings up Naruto interaction and bond with Sakura (since they are trying to remove her from the heroine status) which in comparison come off as better overall and more believable. 

In short nH isn't believable because the story doesn't point toward it. It point towards another pairing.

Bolt inherited Naruto's natural talent? Naruto in theory wasn't naturally talented he got his abilities through hard work. Also Hinata is not naturally talented. That was her issue because her younger sister and her cousin were.

He also he is lazy and he cheats. Those are praise worthy traits because he has some skills taught him by Sasuke. 

Oh great he would surpass his father. Great the lazy cheating brat will surpass his formerly hard working father because he is naturally gifted. What was one of the old morals of Naruto again?

Who is right in the Naruto and bolt thing. Well since kishimoto wrote this for his kids to watch. It obviously Naruto. "What I'm not spending time with you suck it up I'm busy."

"You don't take you father suit (jacket/jumpsuit) the he worked and sweat so hard (TOO MUCH INFORMATION) (does he fantasize about Naruto sweating in that jumpsuit or something?) in (blah blah blah) tossing that kitten out the window." So cheating in a international public event is totally cool and everyone should do it. But throwing away you're dad old kitten cause you're mad at your dad is wrong and morally reprehensible and no one could ever understand why someone would do that? Also wasn't that scene just setting up for when he would then put both that coat and sasuke headband on showing that he was inheriting the will of both Naruto and Sasuke?

Then again the fact that Naruto has all those old pictures and the jacket right next pictures of his family would imply his past was as important as his family? Hell the fact he has something else other than pictures could imply that his past is more important than his family.

He at least has a better voice than foreverworld but he still sounds like his balls haven't dropped.

Gah! 5 minute in and I give up.

Edit: Wait. So this guy is one of the "big name nH youtube "reviewers"?" I couldn't listen to him for more than five minutes. How have people manage to tolerate watching him for years?!
