gotta laugh every time someone tries to justify sasuke attempting to murder sakura by saying "it was self-defense!" as if sakura somehow had it coming. first of all (and im not even gonna mention the time at orochimaru's lair), when sasuke decided to fry sakura's brain, HER BACK WAS TURNED. she had made no move against him before he tried to kill her. there is no precedent for self-defense here at all.

second, he used lethal force against a low-level opponent that he is infinitely stronger than. think about it. it's like konohamaru going after prime hiruzen. she posed no legitimate threat to his life, and lbr, she didn't possess any abilities or skills that could endanger his life. besides, he'd previously shown the restraint and ability to take down weaker opponents non-fatally, in accordance to his own personal standard.

bottom line is: sasuke tried to kill her because he wanted to and he could. and you know what? he said that he planned to kill every last konoha citizen. why wouldn't he kill one that was right in front of him? he would have struck her down later anyways.

He insulted her once in their first conversation (It was justified), if your talking about the Apple scene i'll give you that one, the one in which he is planning Kirin but that's not exclusive to Sakura the rest were in self defense, lol like Sakura or even Naruto give a kitten about that, "threatened". You say constantly but only state a few examples, only when he slaps the apples and is planing to kill Team Kakashi with Kirin does it classify as bad. You can call SS bad or unhealthy but it certainly isn't abusive.

He insulted her many times. He called her annoying on many occasions, not just one. He has tried to kill her on more than one occasion, Kirin aside. Just because she wasn't the only one he was going to aim it at doesn't override the fact that it's wrong. If a murderer kills two people, but one was on accident and that one wasn't the initial target, it doesn't do away with the wrongness of the action itself. The actions he has taken against her qualify it as an abusive relationship.

I dont know what else you could call a realationship with someone who tried to kill u and insulted you during the story more then once. I would like to see someone coming together with the one who tried to murder you several times. Just try to imagine a realationship with someone like that and now tell me that its no abusive.

 

Also imo almost all the hate for Sakuras character is because of her love for Sasuke and its well deserved...

This is Nartuo, Sakura can forgive Sasuke for what he has done cause its fictional and trying to kill in this manga is irrelevant look at Gaara with his siblings.

 

Sakura is the most hated character in the series even more hated than OBITO so I don't get that especially since the MAIN CHARACTER hands out forgiveness like nothing and kittening fainted over Sasuke who tried to kill him much more than Sakura and it wasn't justified....

The only differnece between Naruto and Sakura is that Naruto doenst want to have a romantic realationship with Sasuke as far as i know. So i think theres a difference between forgiving a friend or someone you would like to have as your partner. If Naruto would keep on loving Sakura after she tried to kill him it would be same for him.

The second time he says it because she asks if he remembers the first conversation they had and he says no but he proves he;s lying when he calls her annoying, third time while not OK he was trying to protect her. I don't think Sasuke liked Sakura romantically in the entire manga so I don't know why you're bringing that up unless you're talking about caring about her but he still states that he sees her as a second family.

Which abuse are you talking about?

In terms of physical abuse, SasuKarin applies. Karin was his comrade and he manipulated and used her and then killed her so he can have a better aim towards Danzo. In Naruto and Sakura's case, it depends on people whether they call it an abuse or not. If you call Orochimaru's murder attempts on Jiraiya as physical abuse, I guess you can call it's the case for both Naruto and Sakura. The difference between SK and SNS, NS is that Karin was his comrade, whereas Naruto and Sakura was his enemy, Sakura moreso.

In terms of emotional abuse, it happened to SK, SNS, SS. He unnecessarily and unreasonably put them down, hurt them for his own satisfaction. And this happened since the end of part one.

As for forgiveness, I'd be a hypocrite if I say it's okay for Naruto and Sakura to forgive Sasuke but it isn't for Karin to do so. All three of these characters forgave Sasuke and acted as if he didn't plan a mass murder or something. Although, the worst forgiveness in manga history award goes to Naruto forgiving Obito and calling him a 'cool guy'. Lol, that guy killed Naruto's parents, his friend, his comrades, and all the other people who fought for him. And on the same day, he forgave them without even considering what the family of the victims would feel. I can't even understand how the Hyuuga family was okay with that but who cares? Neji is only a branch member.

By the way the actual translation is "The Obito who wanted to be Hokage IS a cool guy."

the word "cool" should never be associated with someone as despicable as obito.
