Some of us may believe Naruto would end in NaruSaku or SasuSaku and NaruHina.... even if we like Narusaku (that's what I've observed..^^ Correct me if I'm wrong...)

So... I'm just curious how many people here believe in the possibility of Naruto ending in any of the pairings I mentioned....

Please rank them from 1-3, with 1 the most possible pairing^^

Also state valid reasons why you rank them as such..^^

1- NARUSAKU!!! wOOT!! there's so much evidence in the manga/show that this pairing will happen!!

2- sasusaku T_T as much as i hate this pairing so much... i come to a conclusion that this pairing will be more possible than naruhina

1) NaruSaku
Canon-wise, I haven't seen much evidence that points away from NaruSaku. It's literally the same build as any manga/anime with a spirited female-lead cliche.

2) SakuSasu
Someone wrote a really good essay stating how SakuSasu was possible in canon and I was impressed with the main argument, so I do think it is possible. I still don't think it holds a candle to NaruSaku, but I do think it has mild ground now, rather than no ground from before.
(Oh, and doesn't mean I like it either. Most SakuSasu fics I've read, butchers Sasuke's character.)

3) NaruHina / NaruHina & SakuSasu
Now NaruHina's the one I don't get at all. It's understandable if you're watching the anime, but from the manga perspective, it's a lost cause. Her parts are over. And the Chichi/Bulma argument doesn't work on me. Chichi is nothing like Hinata. At all.
The only anime I can think of that has the main rowdy guy hook up with a quiet mousy girl, was Midori Days -which still was an obvious set up from the start.

You saw Midori Days, too? What'd you think?

In addition to it being an obvious set-up, the entire series was based around the two of them getting to know each other and developing their relationship. It isn't necessary to have a lot (or even any) development between the characters to have the relationship, but it is for me to believe it.

I think that NaruSaku is the most likely by a far margin (roughly 2:1).

I'd rate SasuSaku and NaruHina as about equal in likelihood. I think that SasuSaku has more development in the manga but if SasuSaku happens (or is going to happen), it's almost guaranteed for NaruHina to happen. As minute as their development has been, it's more than Naruto has had with any other female character (aside from Sakura, of course) and most of the other female characters already seem to have other likely matches.

2 is naruhina... cuz even though i dont like this pairing, kishimoto said he was going to do something with her (that could mean anything!)

He did say he was going to elaborate on Naruto and Sakura's relationship in part two a while ago, which if you read inbetween the lines a bit in some of the chapters he already has.

Off the top of my head, also Peacemaker Kurogane - Tetsunosuke and Saya (hope I'm remembering those names right), Record of Lodoss War - Spark and Neese.

Well since this poll is a wee bit biased (It's posted on a NaruSaku board anyway... XD It's ok. I think this is a good thread to discuss other possibilities.), I will have to look at this not as a fan, but as a fact analyzer.

1) NaruSaku (eh heh let me elaborate) - Just using common sense, would the main character of a shounen manga ever end up with someone that he hasn't been interested in for a while? Even in DNAngel, when Daisuke switched his affections, he still liked Riku for a long time before they started dating. There are a lot of other common sense reasons, but that is the most prominant for me.

2) NaruHina AND SasuSaku - If Sakura and Sasuke ever got together, I have a feeling that Naruto would see that he had to move on and Hinata would probably help... if she could not faint for about two seconds. It wouldn't be a happy ending for him though. He would feel awful about seeing Hinata as not the one even though she cares for him. Sakura wouldn't be making much progress either... unless she truly had the patience of a Goddess. ( In the end, NaruSaku might happen anyway due to the realization that stuff's not working out.)

3) SasuSaku - Well Sakura has a lot of initiative. I think that she would make the first move and MAYBE start something... Hinata just doesn't seem like the type to get things going and Naruto's not actively seeking her out, so Naruto-kun might just end up pairing-less in this scenario. :shamefulcry0js:

I've only seen the Midori Days anime and I liked it. Gets a bit wishy-washy and it doesn't elaborate on some possibly more interesting ideas of development (like where they're both in kimonos in the intro), but overall, I found that it had great interaction and I'd rate it 'Something I'd like to buy someday.' -A ranking that sits directly between 'I will step over my own mother to get it' and 'Computer's have numerous uses' and very far away from the 'Add cleaning bleach to eyes repetitively' formula. Awesome intro too -quite possibly sits among one of the best (potential summary) montage intro of any anime.

And about your odds for NaruHina -I don't know. From my perspective, Naruto's potential love-life seemed like an 'only Sakura or nobody at all' type of venture.

It's just that nearly any anime has a mild set-up between who-will-end-up-with-who if they know each other from the beginning of the series. Occasionally, a new character might be thrown in, but intentions are always deliberately set-up about their purpose or destiny. I've never seen NaruHina fulfil any sort of foreboding. Naruto's never had any inclination to Hinata, and Hinata's own intentions towards Naruto are always distant.

I'll probably have to add She - The Ultimate Weapon, Mahoromatic, Please Teacher and Chobits to that list as well. With extenuating circumstances for all above, of course (like namely; lack of serious competition).

I tried to post this at other forums, Saku-chan--san... XD, but so far I was only able to post it at the NaruSaku vs SasuSaku... XD Even though I tried to visit the sasusaku.twinbells.org(SasuSaku forum) I can't find myself to register there(oh and I found a NaruHina forum too), even if I only wanted to observe... XD so I guess I'll try posting this to narutoforums... I really wanted to know what is the view of other pairing shippers... XD

Wow, those votes are OVERWHELMING. That's a lot of votes for NaruSaku.
I wonder who voted for SasuSaku and NaruHina and what their reasonings were for that...

Not too surprising that it's overwhelming.

I think that most fans of a major pairing are partly going to be fans of that major pairing because of the amount of development that they see for that pairing and broadly speaking, people tend to think that more development = more likely.

But there are at least a few NaruSaku fans that don't think it'll happen, perhaps because they don't buy into the more development = more likely in this case. And we do have some fans of other pairings here on the board. Not all NaruSaku fans are exclusively for the NaruSaku pairing.
