And overjoyed about the fact that Sasuke said that Sakura is strong and called her "my wife"...  

 

Still don't know if Sakura was thinking about the forehead poke when she did it to Sarada, or if it was something else...something she will tell to Sarada in the 10th chapter...

And as many have already said, it's not (solely) about the pairings, but about the writing behind how things have lead up to this point. NH/SS would be fine and acceptable (if disappointing to NS fans) if the writing had actually truly developed and supported them happening, but it didn't. It was all a huge retcon at the last second. The fact that there had to be an entire movie dedicated to "explaining" things (which it didn't even do well either) was already proof of that.

 

I'd like to echo this post. I've posted several times in the past how I was a NH shipper in Part I because honestly, there was some actual stuff you could build on for a real, plausible NH relationship. But I became a NS shipper in Part II because that's what made sense and the development seemed to point in that direction.

 

The problem is that NH and SS were thrown together at the end as some awful asspull. I could present a really plausible path of development for NH to make sense and I suspect if that was canon we'd all be NH shippers.

And really this chapter changed nothing, SS is still trash and  it seems Kishi lost his ability to draw Sakura ok, she looks manly

 

 

Lol I see what Kishi might set up with that first kiss. Sakura is going to unveil her first (perhaps her only) kiss to Sarada and it be in chapter 3. Only Sasuke will retort, "It wasn't me."
