In Latin America Sakura is hated. But recently I've been watching some youtubers who were so NH's fans admit Naruto would be better with Sakura.

You see, that's the thing. No one in their essence has a problem with Naruto getting with Hinata. On one condition: DO IT PROPERLY.

 

If the story dictates so, suure, I have no problem.

 

But when the story builds to something else and then you come up with a totally different ending to it, it's just... kitten sorry to say it.

yeah I have no problem with Hinata. I have no problem if she WERE the love interest. Where my beef comes from is that all of this love for Hinata is a byproduct of hating how Sakura treats Naruto and that Naruto deserves a girl that liked him from the beginning. My problem is that Naruto's romance with the "love of his life" happend as an after thought when the main plot has long since been resolved and the story had evey oppurtunity to develop the chemistry etween them instead of wasting time teasing that Naruto was hooking up with a girl he had no chance with. My problem is that I have always been irrationally teased and insulted for thinking that there was something between Naruto and Sakura and always had my reasoning and preferences mocked. It is that reason amongst many others that I despise the ending, Not because I actually hate Hinata as a character

I got many problems.

I got a problem with Naruto not getting the woman he he sacrificed his life for, the he loved since he was a child, the one who you would do anything for just to make her smile. I have a problem with Sasuke just getting Narutos woman while it was clear that it pained Naruto to no end. I got a problem with him not getting her period. Add the fact that she was starting to feel the same for him and it makes me even more upset. Thats who he loves, thats who thought was the most beautiful woman on the planet. Everybody say shes mean to him, but obviously Naruto loves her feistiness, and how she takes zero crap from anyone. Thats what matters. It really isnt anyones place to tell Naruto that he should go for the shy one because they think shes quite unquote nicer. I got much more but I wont sit here typing for years.

But that would be saying Naruto is entitled to Sakura which is exactly the same argument Hinata cultists disgutsingly beat over the heads of all anyone with a different opinion. Besides the development is what matters more than any notion Naruto always loved Sakura. Sakura was beginning to see Naruto for Naruto and vice versa and their relationship was growning form there. that is the charm of NaruSaku for me, and it was OBLITERATED by that garbage notion of "entitlement". Hinata always loved Naruto, Sakura always loved Sasuke (and moving on from him would meake her a "terrible woman", they said) they sacrificed the relationship between Naruto and Sakura whcih was not only realistic and romantic at the same time, they have the audacity to say their friendship wasn't even a real friendship. What pisses me off most of all is that Naruto's entire dynamic with Sakura had to be destroyed utterly for him to even look in Hinata's direction. It was so simple for Sakura to realize that she didn't love Sasuke, she loved the"idea of him and the same was for Hinata adnd her views of Naruto. I was so simple for Sakura to realize she fell for the boy that always protected her ans considrate of her feelings and put her happiness above his own, etc. etc. they didn't need to be forced into a relationship, like the official couples had. Naruto and Sakura's relationship was very much like many real life couples and that was run over and stomped on for fairy tale BS

worded it differently than how I actually meant it. But I agree with what you say. Not saying he's entitled to her, because he isn't. What makes me upset is that through all of Naruto's hard work, you can clearly see that Sakura-Chan was finally heading his way, just to have her ripped out his hands at the last minute when he was so close. And tha'ts only one of many reasons. Naruto already had the key to her heart, but they took it from him and just dropped it right in Sasuke's lap.

On top of that, it's as if they feel Naruto should fall for Hinata because they think she's nicer and sweeter. Which isnt the case because Sakura-Chan is just as nice and sweet, but its obvious that he loves the feistiness about her as well. Her fighting spirit. How she's like him in every way. Pretty obvious that Naruto prefers Wild Cherry With a hint of vanilla over plain Vanilla, so to speak. So any person who truly is a fan of Naruto would accept that he loves Sakura-Chan and wouldn't have it any other way. The fact that they just stripped him of what makes him the happiest and that really made me mad as well.

Ironic seeing that Spain and Portugal love Sakura and NaruSaku. I see and at times speak to alot of NS fans from there. I have even see people make bumberstickers and glass stickers in NaruSaku forms.

So true, James. And even among my "Three Musketeers" of friends, I'm the only one who really sticks to NaruSaku, while one of my friends Sam wanted NaruHina, even if I don't think it's about anything like the fanatics out there are, and the other of our trio, Kurt, wasn't for any particular pairing even if he's fine with the way things ended over all, and has seen some of the Boruto anime likely out of just wanting to keep going with Naruto as it is.

you know, the fact that she called Sasuke a "baka" at the end was all the indication anybody needed to know that NaruSaku was the end game. In my opinion, it was clear that she was originally supposed to say that to Naruto, most likely after he said something that only Naruto would say. But they just transferred it over to her saying it to Sasuke to fit that SasuSaku kitten. Just like it was clear that Boruto(unfortunately) was supposed to be a NaruSaku kid while Sarada was a SasuKarin kid.

That's basically what they did at the end of the series - stole character dynamics from NaruSaku/NaruSasu and gave them to SasuSaku/NaruHina.

 

Not to mention, from the brief moments i've seen stuff related to Boruto - they portray now SasuSaku as some sort of MinaKushi and Hinata is the Sakura 2.0 because why should we like Sakura's essence?

 

That's bad as long as it's Sakura, put it's perfectly okay if it's Hinata.

 

It wouldn't be creepy at all to just change your behavior after you've married the man of your dreams, right? Wouldn't scream fakeness or anything like that, neeeeah. /dropping sarcasm

 

 

That is something that upsets me. She NEVER used "baka" endearingly with Sasuke and he never gave her a reason to do so. Sasuke has always been the cool mature one so what does Sakura even have need to call him "baka" for? That is what is so insulting to me. That they take Naruto and Sakura's dynamic, split it, and force it on to these crack pairings in the most cringing, half-@$$ed lazy way possible. Apparently, there is no explanation needed for these horriblly excused marriages despite Sasuke spending the entire damn series indifferent to Sakura's feelings and Naruto went through the entire series with his heart set on Sakura even after Hinata confessed to him, regardless of whether he understood what she meant.

 

Exactly. With SS is the excuse that ooh, he's gone to look for the big bad evil... IT DOESN'T MATTER! He has a choice in doing so.

 

The same way he chooses to contact Naruto, the same way he could choose to contact his family. Or okay, you're not contacting your family, but you could AT LEAST send a message through Naruto, right?

 

Instead no, we got Sakura for 12 years raising a baby alone, emotionally exhausted and whatnot.

 

On the other side of things, Naruto doesn't want to spend time with his family, BUT he does it so for the village.

 

Is funny because in essence, both Naruto and Sasuke are keeping distant from their families, DESPITE wanting one for so long so that their loneliness would be filled.

 

Pretty damn ironic.

the families would have to be with the right person. I could only imagine the pain in Naruto's heart every single day when he realized he failed himself and settled for less than what he wanted by marrying Hinata instead of pursuing Sakura-Chan until he got her. It's funny because the way that's everything is described, it feels like the perfect set-up for Naruto and Sakura-Chan to realize their mistakes and realize that their love and happiness lies within each other. 

 

The scene when she was looking for the forehead kiss but Sasuke just turned her down, should have triggered some sort of flashback of the bench scene, right then and there, she should have been finding it strange that he didn't want to kiss it even though he claimed it was always a 'dream of his.' But they made sure to leave that out conveniently. That basically tells everything we need to know.

You said somewhere that Hinata was Popular only in the U.S. really and that was an exception rather than the norm. Sakura and the NaruSaku ship was actually more popular world wide right? Just checking

I got to get you a gift for being able to read through all of those answers. I read a few of them and I was getting sick to my stomach. He got over her when he was 13 and started to like Hinata. Or, he called Sakura-Chan his girlfriend just got the sake of teasing her. 🤮🤮🤮

it’s answers like those that kills me. Naruto never really loved Sakura-Chan, yet by his own admission, he does. Ty Gusto is the only one that actually knows what he’s talking about.
