#982269 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

On the topic of Sakura hitting Naruto is abusive...

Name me a girl who doesn't hit her boyfriend when he does something stupid. My girlfriend hits and slaps me around whenever I scare her, pull pranks on her, or beat the snot out of her in video games XD. I've come to realize I need to sit a minimum of ten feet away from her when playing Super Mario Party.

personally, I would drop Kishis punk ass just as fast if LeeSaku happened over NS.

Well... it would still make more sense than what we got. At least Sakura actually showed kindness to Lee after his fight with Gaara.

Now, I wouldn't have been HAPPY about LeeSaku happening, but I definitely would have been more than willing to just accept it sense the two DID have a little development.

:D

His stockpile won't last forever, though. Had he gone with NS it would have lasted a lot longer.

Hell, I doubt many would have complained if LeeSaku happened.

I really don't get how Kishi sleepts at night by doing what he did to one of his characters. As a writer of any kind you want the best for your characters. Sasuke was NOT the best option for Sakura, and I would argue Naruto might not have been either.

(Obviously the one she was REALLY falling for was the random ninja she healed before having that dark image of Sasuke pop up in chapter 540 or whatever it was)

Reguardless however, I really don't get what keeps Kishimoto going now. He basiclly allowed SP to walk all over him and force him to do whatever they wanted. What he should have done was move to a different studio where he had FULL control over his story. I can tell your for a fact that no writer likes being told what to do and how and when to do it. It's OUR story you took interest in. It's OUR story you're going to follow!

As a writer you obviously know your characters inside and out. What are they scared of? Who do they want to be? What positions will they have by the end of the story? You have all this in your head for what you think is best for your characters, then a bunch of perverts come along and say to word "bewbs" every three words and refuse to accept the realities of the other characters.

If I were to ever become a good enough writer (maybe one day) to ever have my work turned into a series of some kind, I'd be making it damn clear that I'M the one in charge of MY story. And if I ever got a fanase as rabid as NH and SS, I'd probably kitten with them to no end and potentially even kill of that character. Sorry, but I'm not taking threats from my own fanbase.

If there's one thing I carried over from Kishimoto's work, however, it's this: You NEVER mess with the protagonists' girl unless you got a death wish.

Honestly, the only person that TRULY loved Sakura was Lee. I wished him and Sakura actually had a romance and I feel she would have been better off. NS would be amazing but Naruto had shallow feelings for Sakura so its moot.

I could honestly see that happening, and it would have aguably made mor sense than NaruSaku to some degree. We saw that Sakura was actually very caring towards Lee after his fight with Gaara in part 1, which was always one of my more favorite parts of the series.

Is LeeSaku had happened, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.

You know, for the first time in a long time, I think we have something interesting to talk about again. I find it very hilarious and almost worth keeping up to tabs with the fact that Kishimoto is being recalled to work on Boruto, and yet the fans don't want him back!

Talk about a failure of epic proportions!

I haven't kept up with this site for a while now, but based off what I've read so far, if Kishimoto's name carries no weight as a mangaka artist/writer anymore, he only has himself to blame. We saw with his Samurai8 manga that no one wants anything to do with him anymore. If you ask me, the damage has already been done. If he wants to rebuild his reputation, he's standing in the rubble of a house that was demolished by a nuclear bomb.

Can he rebuild his reputation? Not to his former glory. In fact, I'd say he'd be lucky to reach even 40% of what he used to be. The ONLY way he can secure a future for himself is to at least TRY to right his wrongs. IF that means re-doing Naruto to some degree, so be it. But he has one hell of a steep mountain to climb in front of him.

I could imagine her bonking him rapidly, and Naruto, bruised up, going "I may have won the battle, but I've lost the war!" Reminded me from the dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, when Zenitsu was doing some training and grabbed Aoi only for her to bonk him and for him to say something similar.

Of course...there's always the possibility she'd actually like it.  :hehehe: There are people out there like that, where being tickled is more of a sexual turn on than it is a form of torture.

She really got hated by most of the creators (not Kishi) is because Kishi made Sakura the female lead in part 2. SP along with most of Kishi's assistants did not like that because they invested a lot on money in the post part 1 filler arcs of making Naruto and Hinata interact with one another off the manga. Sakura's role as the female lead was diminished when Kishi fell victim to lies that Sakura was not popular after the Sasori Arc. Sakura was  still the female lead at that time and was pushed to a more supportive role? Why.? Kishi's first editor also claimed that they focus and build on Sasuke's character to bring in more fans.

Her character was then pushed to the sidelines for business and profits. Not for the plot. As I mentioned before several years ago, the reason why they had Kishi down played Sakura's character was to prevent her from having significant impact on the manga and limit her interactions with Naruto. Her character growth equals to NaruSaku happening and they could not allow.

And it was also said that the heroine change was another business decision for the New Project Era called The Burrito the next generation.

Yeah, sorry, but a studio should not have that kind of power over my story as the author.

I'M the one who came up with these characters. I'M the one who made this world. I'M the one who made a story that YOU got interested in. As far as I'm concerned, the author is the god the studio must answer to.

In no way shape or form should the AUTHOR AND CREATOR of a series have to answer to a studio. As the author, whatever I say goes. Period! If a studio doesn't like that, then tough kitten for them! The author should not have to change their plot for the sake of the studio. You want to make filler? Fine. But you're not changing the canon material of whatever I put down.

As an author and a world builder that kitten pisses me off to no end.

So, here's a question I have in regards to part one of the anime/manga.

After the fight between Naruto and Sasuke, what if Naruto didn't have the healing powers of the Nine-Tailed-Fox and his injuries were much more severe? Imagine if he had to spend weeks - if not months in the hospital recovering from his injuries, even with Tsunade helping him heal. Imagine his injuries and wounds being so severe that even Tsunade was struggling just to keep him alive. What if a limb had been blown off, or his spine was severred or something like that?

At this point, Sakura's "hatred" for Naruto was mostly behind her. She considered him a good friend, and even acknowledged that he knew how she felt all that time. What would her reaction have been seing Naruto in such a critical state this early in the story?

Yeah, because Ino was not a threat to NH.

And to think about it, if Naruto ONLY cared because of his rivalry with Sasuke why didn't Naruto try to win Ino over?

Because I told him to back off. Ino was my girl at the time, then Sai came and buttered her up and stole her from me.

The bastard!

Seems no matter how hard I try, I just can't put Naruto or NaruSaku behind me.Even long after I've considered other works by better artists and writers as much more convincing endings, I just can't seem to move on. I'll go a few months or years without it even entering my mind, then BAM! Out of nowhere I'm fixated on Naruto again!

Why? Just go away, Naruto, you've overstayed your welcome! Just let me move on to better things and die in the past.
