if we can credit her for anything she's done in the story, we can slam her for this. Story-wise, where all these characters are autonomous, sakura reverted to who she was on day 1. Letting go of ^ that girl, won't be too hard. 

 

It'a only rough because we know who she had been built into and the writer was careless enough to throw,literally and I dont think we're being dramatic, all of her development straight out the window. Didn't even say a word to Naruto. Not a look of concern. Always about Sasuke.

If you look at 699, this is not the same author that draw manga until the war/698.

I blame more the author because her character made a 540 degree spin alright. The story point out really otherwise till the last 2 chapters. Naruto is supposed to be the hero and he should have a resolution where he bring Sasuke back to the village to Sakura. And Sakura never knew of the bench scene, which would have been maybe the last straw to Sakura's feeling resolution. She's so out of character in this chapter from what we saw her, so is Sasuke and so is Naruto, who just solely focus on Sasuke. If she were show no feeling  development for Naruto than yes, she was lost in Sasuke. What I see here is a convenient regression just so NH can happen. That regression was hinted only at 693, and even then translation said she was done loving sasuke romantically. How do you even explain to your children that daddy went nuts a couple of time and tried to kill me 3 time?

1. He didn't try to kill her - Apparently she's got a thing for that

2. He hasn't verbally abused her since the beginning of the story - She's into that I guess

3. He's interacted with her more than anyone - She prefers strangers

4. He's saved her multiple times - She don't need no man (that's not sasuke)

5. He's stood up for her and supported her throughout the entire story - She could care less

6.He loved her selflessly for years - She would've preferred a head poke

7. He was until SP and Kishi decided to please the most people they could.

When you think about it, Sasuke is the main character. Those last 2 chapter were seen through Sasuke eye. He give the win to Naruto so he won't bleed to death (technically it's a draw ) so Sasuke record is 1-0-1 and Naruto 0-1-1. Plus Sasuke gets the girl Naruto wants in the 1st place.

What kind of story the rival beat the main character in every aspect?
