My Hero Academia: Two Heroes  was Amazing!!

 

 

It's definitely going to be a first day buy for me when it comes out on Bluray!

I like it a lot so far especially because you see more of the characters that you don't see or don't appear a lot for instance the orginal Ingenium makes an appearance in the series

 

Oh anyone here have a viz manga account? apparently viz manga is giving out digital copies of a special Chapter Horikoshi-sensei drew with the release of the movie called All Might Rising, it gives us a glimpse of Nana Shimura's fight with All for One and how All might Left for the U.S.A. right after he graduated from U.A. so shortly before he met David Shield. I have my copy already lol

Its a good video. The only thing I disagree is the comparison with Naruto. Katsuki is nowhere near that comparison. They have a few traits but not enough to say, "Oh, he's like Naruto". It's best that he should be compare with Sasuke (especially when both has the superior/inferior complexity, though one worked and started to understand, the other didn't).

I would like to see Class B be as successful as class A since they are always being side lined, and that happens but hoow it happened I don't necessarily like for 2 reasons. First and foremost, Fumikage and Mom, my two favourite supporting characters got pooped on after supposedly getting character growth, and it is especially bad for Momo because she is always getting the short end of the stick despite being a strong capable girl that got in the school through recommendations and still in direct fights she loses. Second reason is that this will be the typical formula as win lose, win lose, win. so that is qcually kind of predictable to a fault

Eh, these recent chapters were really just to show off what Class B could do. I'm sure Momo wasn't chosen for any specific reason.

Yeah I know. I wouldn't actually be making a big deal out of it if Momo got more focus and some proof of her growth like how Ochako and Tsuyu were able to take down a couple of giant villains and were fighting on the front lines during the Eri rescue arc. Even though they didn't get much focus at least that growth was shown. Momo didn't get that so I'm kind of anxious about it be cause I really like her   And I know this is to show Class B as Class A's equals but again it is just gonna be a back and forth exchange and Izuku's group will cinch the the win for the class. Also I know this is a team effort thing but to have a complete sweep for one team and then the other is not very interesting to watch lol, that is just giving freebies

The problem is not much depth is shown to these characters at all. You know they got strong, but its basically the same as K11 in the final arc. Give me a reason to care about certain ones, which is like 85% of the cast now.

Well you don't have to I'm only giving my opinion, that is all. besides just because a character is a side character doesn't mean you can't like them or wish that they were given more screen time.

I wasn't asking, though the above does suggest I was. Sorry for that. My intention is asking the writer to make me care. It's not matter of asking many characters to have a screen time or backstory. It needs a hook to begin with. As of now, there's only three characters that gets focus as major characters: Deku (protagonist; dealing with "dreams"), Bakugo (on standby; last known: his battle with Deku 2), and Shouto (family issue; Dabi highly suggestive to be part of that mix). It's Naruto plus one (Naruto and Sasuke). The ratio only increases when the series introduce more characters to the scene. I jokingly said, "Seeing the batch of cast is like seeing new victims in the next war; the problem is they won't die, so I have to know them." It's because there are too many. It is possible to handle more than 5 characters without making them overstay their welcome, and this series once held that. I guess watching the anime in its heyday was a mistake on my part.

I found the chapter confusing, it didn't feel like Momo really showed off her true analytical mind, the fact she didn't have a good grasp of the opponent teams strengths and weaknesses before the battle and compensate for it, doesn't make much sense, yeah it could be argued that the other members except their leader, didn't get much screen time so their powers were known, however being a class rep and having met before on camp, I would think Momo would have taken the time to research the other class and their abilities.

 

Momo is meant to be essentially the Shikamaru of the manga, with a ability that almost puts her at a Uchiha level of OP if she has the knowledge and time to prepare before hand, yet I don't feel like she showed that, the opponents completely caught them off guard and showed the level of planning and intelligence I would expect from Momo.

Well this was coming from the most basic planning ever exposition by Kendo. Attack with dark. If fail, we all attack. Its you dont say level of brilliance. Also, it was last minute to tacked on a rivalry between the two just because of the festival, which wasnt really highlighted until apparently now. It needed a reason for this type of story, even if the end rushed the conclusion. For four chapters long, it was mostly a waste of time.

I get the feeling that the loss was done because the next two matches would be with Bakugo and Shoto are matches that the Class A should win, so maybe this was Class B's token win.

It most likely going by sports series logic. There will be 2 wins each side and the last one will be decesive battle.
