In your honest opinion, do you think Kishi sold out and gave in to NH/SS? Cause now that you mentioned the fact that it was a strategic move by Kishi for Sakura to have thought of Sasuke when questioned by her fodder admirer, it seems to me he didn't sell out and that this was the course of action he had in mind all along. But then again, it still begs the question: WHAT was the reason for 631 and 663? Teasing just to get our hopes up? I can understand 631 as teasing because that NS moment was executed comedically, but 663's symbolism was just too powerful for it to be a tease. Sakura literally had Naruto's heart in the palm of her hand. Not only that, but what was the reason for Sasuke putting down Sakura with insults and having no qualms about letting her die in a pit of lava? If Kishi had NH and SS in mind for all this time, why didn't he push it? Was it because it embarrassed him to write about it as it was revealed in his latest interview? I'm sorry but kitten Kishi! I can't figure him out cause he defies literary logic.

So much of this  besides  since when Sasuke is this great guy that Sakura supposed to love ?  Sasuke's being redeemed doesn't erase his actions  especially the actions toward her all that abuse its disgusting to put him in that place as a "great guy " that she love  . THis has to be the most atrocious writing I've ever seem I mean really is this the message that they will send to kids ? I hope no parent let their kids read this kitten bc it kitten on everything that is pure  not to mention the theme of Naruto is dead literary there is no joy and a positive message in this ending .

Sakura's necklace is a diamond, I think it's supposed to represent the seal on her forehead. Like how Bolt has a screw necklace, it represents his name I think? Shikamaru's necklace probably is a wedding ring, looks like one. Or it could just be something to represent his clan, but his clan symbol isn't just a circle. So wedding ring it is for him

Voice acting is a big thing in Japan. It's taken fairly serious, and they're basically mini-celebrities. It wouldn't be surprising at all for Japanese fans to go see a movie with their favorite Seiyuu in it.

Its really sad... I never thought Kishi would ever add a whole movie focused on romance or really show the kids of pairings. I never thought he would really show so much focus on romance in the end of Naruto. It wouldve been a dream to see all this. I always hoped for something like this.... But now all of this happens in favor of SS and NH. This is really the worst that could happen.
He really goes all romance in the end and that all with NH and SS instead of NS.

I'm with you on there man. But like I said. With the sheer absurdity of it all and with the way things went down to force a continuation I really feel that it was a financial reason. Heck he didn't even draw the last chapter and I doubt how much he was involved in the movie.

But oh well. Got our community and fan cannon and head cannons.

Don't forget the strong implications that Sakura's emotionally spirited statement had about Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage being right in front of them. It tied in so well to what Itachi's speech meant as he referenced how Minato became Hokage thanks to the sacrifices and support of his wife, Kushina. Kishi couldn't have been more explicit with the context of that CPR incident.

It's why I think it was after that that the ending was changed, until the beginning of this year I think it was planned to be NS and SK but for whatever reason it got changed, how much of that is on Kishi we may never know nor may we never know if I'm right but I just can't accept that more time was spent developing the red herrings than the main pairings.

 

I know The Last has been in development for 2 years but that doesn't mean that story has been in development for 2 years, they were making the movies yearly prior to it so it's not a huge stretch to think The Last's story was changed when the pairings were. Because correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the movie to come after RtN meant to be about Sasuke?

True, but Hinata is also the most popular female Naruto character. Couple that with Sasusaku, the most popular pairing in Japan, being in the movie as well, and the non-shipper Naruto fans...lol
