Well whoever it is, it better have a good reason for that character. What can this one "character" could do to span 30 minutes? Don't waste the opportunity if I may say. Maybe it is Iruka. He did get an arc in the anime with Naruto. So yeah...

 

You know, it's sad that Sasuke just keep going lower in terms of his plan, because normally, a writer would have a person not pleased (Sakura) that a "criminal" (Sasuke) is here and all, so that guy unintentionally would make himself look good (pulling Zuko when he got accepted to be in the good team) by saving them and what not. Therefore, at one point, the person is now relieved and they have a tender moment. Sadly, nothing is here at all. Shame. I guess fanfiction is really a great perk.

Sasuke won't betray Naruto - they were never on the same path to begin with. He's got his own agenda, and if Naruto is going to be an obstacle, he'll knock him out of the way.

I'm sure there was an interview where Kishimoto said he wanted Sasuke and Naruto to go down different paths from the very beginning of the manga. The irony is both essentially want the same thing. The major difference is while Naruto wants to change and understand people, Sasuke just wants to do everything by force.

Killing Naruto is probably how he thinks is the easiest way to kill the old system. For all we know, if he's the strongest guy around, he doesn't need to become Hokage, he could be whatever autocrat he wants to be (daimyo?).

Sasuke doesn't seem to hate the village anymore, he just hates the whole system that turns everyone into enemies. Kishimoto has just shifted his goals so that it matches Naruto's, probably to highlight the contrast between how they're willing to reach that goal.

This. Its not betrayal if he was never truly on their side. The enemy of my enemy is a friend. The Juubi is the enemy so they're teaming up. Its just like when kabuto healed Sakura. If he were to heal her, then kill her afterwards for whatever reason, would one call it a betrayal especially considering he was a known enemy.

About this chapter its interesting, but the suspense is killing me. i'll wait until several more chapters come out then i'll read again hopefully by then something big or shocking happens.

Hmm... you bring up interesting points. Perhaps if Sasuke were to intentionally make himself seem like a good guy, it would have the opposite effect, and in turn, make him seem more suspicious due to how "out of character" it may seem to the rookies since Sasuke never really acted like, or was, a good guy to begin with. Plus, he doesn't care what the others think of him, so maybe that has something to do with it. Also, I never really saw Sasuke as someone who was exceptional at manipulating others to get what he wants. He'd rather use force and power to achieve things. This is probably why he is not making himself look good for he probably views it as a waste of time and energy. Why bother when he merely use his power to make his desires come true? Ugh, why am I still predicting things with 'Sasuke' in it after all the heel turns he's done lately. I've given up, Sasuke is forever a character I will never understand. He puts the "un" in "unpredictable". I used to get Sasuke once. I miss those days. 

 

Anyway, looks like Sasuke's pulling a Vegeta. He's doing the whole rivalry "No kills the idiot but me!" deal Vegeta did for years. I did a bet with my brother over Sasuke wanting to kill Naruto still, looks like won. He gets Sasuke a lot better than I do, apparently.   However, I still see a conflict between Sasuke. I saw the original image of Team 7 and then the one with Naruto slashed out representing his twisted care for him underneath the hatred and death threats. Naruto's really the one to reach him now. Though I don't understand why Sasuke would want to kill Naruto. He doesn't want to destroy Konoha anymore, he doesn't have to prove to himself he can do it by killing his 'best friend'. Unless he wants to erase everything in his past, including Naruto who's part of the system as well. Still Sasuke scapegoating, but whatever works for him I guess.

 

I feel bad for Naruto 'cause I think he's optimistic enough to believe Sasuke saved him out of care, not the "I wanna kill you" mantra. And I feel like Sasuke's next betrayal is gonna hit him hard because of that.

 

Things are getting interesting .... glad to know the Sasuke vs. Naruto fight to death is still on.

It looks like Sakura and Sai were right about trusting Sasuke. Then again he is part of the reason why this war started in the first place. Actually if you look at the enemies they are were Konoha ninjas and they brought other ninja villages into the mess that really doesn't concern them. I have a feeling there'll be a lot of regret and sorrow on Konoha's side.

 

Obito has gone insane in being junbi junnchurki and I don't know if Naruto and Killerbee has a chance because their bujus are weaker than juubi. However if they manage to kill Obito than Juubi is gone.

 

For pacing and ready to go forward hopefully this Obito mess can be done in less than 20 chapters. Because I think we are tired of this war arc and it's been too long. Kishi needs to lead this story back to Konoha because as I said this is a Konoha affair that brought other nations into their mess that they refuse to clean up (e.g. Madara, Obito, & Sasuke).

I wonder about the hokages thou. Hashirama is blocked by Madara. Tobirama blew himself up and Hiruzen is restoring himself. That leaves Minato and I wonder if he will also be incapacitated. Something needs to happen because having juubito chase Naruto around the battlefield won't be very interesting.

The only person I can see saving naruto and sasuke in time is minato. Anyone remember he told obito that the mark he has on him never leaves? That means that he could be there in less than a second and quicker than anyone else on the battlefield. If anyone were to make it in time to save them, it will be naruto's daddy.

Of course not, haven't you been reading the manga. Parallels and foreshadowing doesn't mean anything, wink wink. I mean come on there is nothin in the manga that suggests sasuke and naruto will fight to the death. Nada zilch nothing. That's almost as absurd as thinking parallels have some kind of importance and that they re some how related to narusaku.

There gonna defeat the juubito together, become buddy buddy, sasuke is gonna "open up" and tell his true feeling to Sakura, ones he's been hiding all along but have never been mentioned. And there u have it. that ll wrap up all the loose ends.

Why NH are saying that Hinata will save Naruto from Juubito next chapter? I see a post where it says that Hinata has her byakugan activated and Kishi will make a "remake" of Pain Saga: She sees Naruto in danger so she'll go to save him just when she did the same during Pain saga. And Sakura gets by alone.

 

I'm not bothered by this, all this is just amusing to me

I think Minato will afterwards be injured or not capable to fight alongside Naruto due to something. Then there comes the Kages, unless they're the ones that save Naruto and Sasuke next chapter so we have them next chapter and Minato is capable to fight.

 

I think for now that when the Kages arrive, they'll fight Madara, and the alliance will join the ones who are fighting Obito.

They want Minato to see her saving Naruto and make a new remark how HInata is just like Kushina when she saved baby Naruto from Kurama , making Minato stating * HInata IS better than SAkura and is total look alike Kushina ...

 

Saw the same thing in the SS tag-> OW, SAsukeH is in darkness again , quick SAkura go and preform FoD hug #2 and save him...

 

-> Naruto will die -> SS canon ..   I would go on but it seem pointless..

Sasuke is definately pulling a Vegeta as someone else has stated before me this, we were let to believe that he had changed ,but that was pretty obvious false . 631 he comes to the battlefield addressing everyone that he does not care of what they think of him and he will become hokage regardless.. huh.. Apperantly he cares only for himself there .. Villagers? What villagers? Konoha11(10 neji )? Who are they? Is the current Hokage dead? Team 7? Naruto? Sakura? Kakshi? Who were they , i dont remember them at all....

 

 

635 - Foreshadowed this , after all we know they will have to fight eventually...

 

Now this chapter was a great one actually i enjoyed it (4.5/5). For a second there i thought Sasuke was halfway good , but on the next page    .. The same old guy .. Killing Naruto is his goal clearly , but he is missing a fatal piece of the puzzle , which is Naruto's bijuu mode . And i think Naruto's KCM allowed to sence Sasuke's evil intentions. (or is that just me?)^^

Thoghts on the next chapter... Everyone of us ( including other fanbase's) want Sakura to jump in and save Naruto (others Sasuke) , but it seems a little too early for that to happen and she is far away , as far as we know anyways.. Unless Hinata is giving her a play by play . She has her Byakuo seal which if i remember correctly was partually SM ? SSM if she has it , she could be able to use it, right know i think she is a little out of juubito's leauge.. Minato is quite the fast character , so i think he will take a role in saving them form Juubito
