Naruto placing all his happiness and goals around saving Sasuke is what stunted his character.

It was the one thing that urked me so much...and what is even more urksome is after Sasuke was saved....Naruto basically stopped caring. "Sasuke no longer wants to destroy Konoha. Doesn't matter if he spends 12 years away from Konoha because I did my job and now I don't care."

Seriously. we were nailed hard almost every time Sasuke was on screen about how Naruto had to drastically save him or the whole world was gonna blow up...and after that it was like "meh. Who cares?""

Exactly. I don't blame Naruto for not believing her but it still seemed like a foolish whim to ignore her confession.

Which makes me more mad where I wanted Sakura to confront Naruto about the bench scene. Kishi can still bring it up in this Gaiden or whenever but it has lost all of its fire and meaning now. Naruto should have taken that confession to heart there to avoid all of this.

At this point it really doesn't matter because sakura regressed back to her fangirl 12 year old self and naruto's entire character along with everyone else gets rectonned.

I'd go as far to say everything that happened in the manga just doesn't matter anymore. It might as well not exist.

It's what I tell pro-enders when they try to use the manga to "prove" their point.

I am like: "Why are you using something even Kishimoto himself is disregarding?"

Here is the sad reality that is Naruto....

If Kishimoto was gonna make this a shallow trophy love anyway, why not let the main character win what he wanted? That is even more pathetic of a thought that Naruto's entire being was so unimportant that even his emotions, either real or imaginary, mean nothing to the writer himself.

I am beginning to question why Naruto was even created in the first place or why he was the main character.

Simple, he wasn't. The true main characters were Sasuke and NH which gained popularity as time went on. They became so popular they eclipsed everything else

lol oh true but guys I think that we all know Kishi is not a good writer I mean come on I have seen games like Corpse Party that do it a lot better I mean just look at Seiko Love for Naomi she loves her and want to tell her but she never got too heck she even looks after her three younger siblings, Something we all know Hinata wouldn't do I mean to Hinata her Sister means nothing to her.

 

Which is funny once again when her fans say Hinata is good and all that, but hey let Kishi gone down as a bad writer,
