Probably Ova. I see it like only 3 episodes top.

Anyway, my comment on DBZ is on hold for today's podcast, which I didn't think I would be doing much since Golden Week, but here I am planning.

I pray to the Shinto deity of anime. Please don't let Dragon Ball S suck. I've been weary of some Toriyama's decisions of late.

Gohan was such a disappointment. Man, the debates I used to have on the forums about who was the strongest were the BEST.

The Tale of Kaguya-hime is quite good. But the animation is like a painting from a watercolor. Graveyard of the Fireflies is so heart wrenching that even my mom cried when we watched the movie together.

I'll check it out soon!

Did you read Sakura-hime by Arina Tanemura? It's loosely base of on that tale, too.

I have heard of it but I haven't read it.

Ok, was just wondering. I've read quite a few works of Arina Tanemura, but lately I'm just baffled with what she is writing. One of them is sooo pedophile (and incest) in my eyes, like wtf XD

Dragon Ball Z in manga pacing form. The original was known to drag incredibly (like OP go figure), so Kai is basically manga edition. No fillers, no stretching out the scene, and reanimated scenes with remastered visuals.

 

I kinda liked the original Dragon Ball fillers, they were quite nice and helped expand on some characters, like Krillin

True though I can deal without an episode of yelling to go Super Saiyan 3.

... I think it's called Neko to Watashi no Kinyobi. Basically, a ten year old boy who developes a crush on his 16 year old cousin. Worse thing is, that she reciprocates his feelings. Like wtf?!

Berserk... I'll see when I read it. I'm interested in it.

It basically pedophilia right? And what the heck is this 16 year old cousin thinking. :argh: :wot:

Berserk is more gruesome and detailed than TG. It's a great manga.

Yeah, I've see things in Berserk. But I think the most gruesome I've seen (not read) is I Am a Hero... That is pure gore.
