Been a couple of days. Anything new or interesting going on?

a romantic comedy where the the male lead and the female lead would get together due to the numerous mutual development, hints and a freaking kiss to top it off. and then bam! the final chapter f**cks his readers over and everyone hates it. no, this is not split in half like the naruto fandom. everyone hates it now.

Ah, was this the manga that you were talking about a little while ago that had a crappy ending? So, everyone hates it now?

Bolt is pissed at his dad for insert any reasons that make chapter 700 pointless. So he goes to train with Sasuke which I would assume Salad followed him and they bumped into Sasuke. He trained them, Salad finally get something from her dad more or less. Then Chunnin exam begins and Bolt is going to show his sh*tty dad that he will succeed, hence "watch me, sh*tty old man." Sasuke will watch Salad from hidden spot. Stuff happens. Stuff happens. Someone in theater scream "Haikyuu!" Stuff happens. It's over. I'm left waiting for DBZ movie in USA.

End.

This sounds...actually pretty plausible. I'll laugh if this comes to pass lol

SP/SJ have certainly got the "damage" part of Damage Control right...not so much the control, though.

Yes - links can definitely be posted here and in the other threads. Either cross-referencing new content, or linking to other threads for bigger discussions. I'll try to keep up with them till we get back in the habit of having multiple threads again, but other members certainly can as well.

 

Nothing's truly off limits in the discussion thread.... I can just see the storm clouds on the horizon of Sakura's novel, the BS, the new series.... And we should make use of the extra threads now that things are picking back up again. (Just like we did when Naruto was still normal and not a sham.)

 

This thread should just be the safest zone for those of us still with ptsd and don't want to be swamped in BS!

Well, ive had no net all month an i come back to see they are STILL trying to ruin sakura. This is kishi really getting desperate for some narusaku fans return! Not gonna happen, i aint reading the novel

It's like there comes a point where you think they can't get any lower, and then they prove you wrong. It's like a science experiment.

Why are the bad guys in Naruto easily forgiven? Don't the people remember that these guys killed countless of people.

I can only presume that one of the side effects of chakra usage is memory loss over time. Could also explain why Naruto, who has tons of chakra, forgets more or less everything that makes him who he is after the war.

But speaking to the point of the name of the series, what I really want to know is when the name was thought up. Honestly, I think Naruto Gaiden, which I think means something along the lines of Naruto Chronicles, is a defense play by Kishi/SP. I think it's a response to all the negative reaction in order to lure older fans back in. They've already stated that this series was about Bolt, so why does the title imply continued focus on Naruto? Kishimoto already said himself that Naruto's role was completed on retrieval of Sasuke (what a stupid statement to make, even further lowering his credibility as a writer), so really the name is only a ploy to regain lost ground. I'm pretty sure this isn't the original name of the series. They're aware that their kitten stinks and they don't want to eat it. Life sucks when you disrespect the majority of your fanbase, they're feeling it now XD

As far as I'm aware, "Gaiden" means a side story. I think there is certainly an element of truth to what you are suggesting. They're getting more and more desperate.

It's like they're throwing any old crap at the dartboard these days, hoping that something will stick. I believe they're trapped within the schedule and plan that they have created, and don't know how to break free of it. They have all of this crap already made, and to not try and sell it would cost them money. However, selling it is also costing them money in the long run, because more people are turning against them and refusing to buy their products. A sort of damned if they do, damned if they don't scenario. Plus, they have the movie ready to go for August, so they have to try and push it, irrespective of the fact that many people are not interested in seeing it. It's almost guaranteed to make them a loss of some sort.

Had another look at the "Sakura" Hiden cover (quotation marks because she ain't the Sakura I know), and damn does she look depressed. Almost apologetic, like "I'm really sorry for the crap that's within these pages. Please, save yourself the trouble and spend your money elsewhere. I've heard Fullmetal Alchemist is good, why not give that a shot instead?"

Fixing the problems of the story in a fanfic is the only (and best!) way to fix the utter nonsense that happened in the story. And here's the thing, it's not like we shipped the wrong pairing or something like that. Kishimoto sold out. The story was dismantled, and the fans were robbed. The only way we have to fight back is through fanfics and fanarts. Finishing them because an act of resistance!

 

So don't lose hope! Finish what you've started! You have lots of friends who support you!!

100% agree. It may feel hard at times, but don't give up, dude.

Though clearly Sasuke and Sakura's love stands the test of time since she still has the apron. I don't see Naruto having Hinata's red scarf anywhere in chapter 700. So, SS obviously has the stronger relationship here.

...that must be why Naruto is drinking and eating ramen in his office! It all fits!  He removed the scarf, his marriage fell apart, and now he sleeps in the Hokage office, drinking his life away. He wants to be a better father to Bolt, but seeing him reminds him of Hinata, and he subconsciously pushes him away because of it. But Sakura and Sasuke's remains strong because apron!

I don't want to toot my own horn or anything, but with this revelation...I am the greatest genius that has ever lived and ever will live in the entire world.

Hinata is far too perfect and wonderful for us lot. We are scum in her mighty presence and unworthy of her splendour 

Do you guys think the Naruto anime will get cancelled?

From what I've seen, the anime quality is kitten & the new fillers are kitten.

I don't know if it will be cancelled outright, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are re-evaluating their decision to go beyond the manga's conclusion. They may just animate the rest of the manga and call it a day. The manga stuff, I imagine, would be the stuff that draws in the higher amount of viewers, and they would want to maintain what little they have left.

Of course, no one ever said that SP were smart.
