Just as the title says what was the most shocking moment(s) in the series for you.

 

 

For me I'd say it was definitely Madara's reveal.

For me it was while I was reading part I and realized how much NaruHina moment were filler, I was shocked, very happy but shocked.

How part one had fifty flipping filler episodes at the end and 90% of them were the dumbest thing ever? And I didn't entirely know what filler was at the time, despite being familiar with anime.

 

Hm...

In all seriousness, probably discovering that Itachi wasn't seriously a bad guy. (Though not sure I would defend his actions...that would be a hard position to be in, though.)

I don't even remember. I got a ton spoiled for me beforehand, so I don't know. Ooh, I think that the biggest shock for me was when I found out Tobi wasn't just a loser Tobi but was actually the one behind all the Akatsuki activity. I didn't get that one spoiled for me!

Theirs a lot for me. But one of the ones that really got me was when Orochimaru turned into a gigantic white snake. I mean, ew, I already don't like them, why would I want to see an even bigger one on screen from the biggest pedo in the series :sick:

Naruto's obsession with Sasuke and the way Kishimoto always stuffs this entire bromance thing between them down our throats is the most shocking thing.

Hintata thinking of Naruto's big hands over Neji's dead body is also right up there at the top.

Itachi not ending up being a bad guy was the biggest one for me. I never saw that one coming. I heard rumors about it before I saw it myself, but I refused to believe it. Imagine my surprise when it ended up being true. :twitch:

 

A few others would have to be Madara's reveal and Tobi revealing to be Obito. Sasuke declaring he'd be Hokage would have to be another strong example of shocked for me as well.

 

I also think Obito going crazy after Rin's death and killing so many ninja to be incredibly shocking ... just because of the amount of gore in it and Obito literally walking in a river of blood. Nearly jumping the shark if I ever saw one. :blink:

IDK, parts of Sasuke's fight with Itachi were pretty hard to watch, too. On the eye gouging thing I slapped my hands over my eyes and was all "let me know when it's over".

Still, pretty different from the rest of the serie's fights.

No that's not what I meant. I stared watching the anime back when it premiered on Cartoon Network about 10 years ago, but I didn't start reading the manga until about 4 years ago, so I was shocked and happy when I found out how much NaruHina was only present in the anime.
