Can anyone repost the beginning sequence when Sakura starts dragging Naruto away? I can't seem to find it.
But, did Sakura actually say something along the lines of "Let's go on a date Naruto"? I mean, I know she said it to get away from her parents and everything or to get Naruto to go along willingly. Or did she just say "Come with me"? I forget what Naruto said *or the gist of it*, but I do know that she started pulling his ear at the point and he complained.
Sig made by me though. XD

Heh the drawing where she's scarfing down the canned anmitsu with the heavy blushing and the hearts is hilarous, in other words Sakura loves anmitsu exactly how Naruto loves ramen. Naruto needs to learn about Sakura's craving for anmitsu and take her on a date to a place that serves it.
No Rumiko Takahashi didn't work on any of the movies.
Lol. Too much crossover in color for Sakura's family. Yellow and pink. Lol.
Can you translate it by any chance? Just asking. No need to do so. I believe we do have someone to do it.
Thanks for the confirmation on Inuyasha.

I heard she just drags him away, it was Naruto who asked if it was a date. She denies it.
But in the end she says it was the longest date ever.

Can you blame him? She grabs his hand and went out at night. I do think the same if I was him. Nice to know that he was on a date. The longest date ever. No one is going to top that at all. Seriously, no one.

Normally I would but I'm in marathon sewing stage for Dragoncon, trying desperately to finish up a couple of costumes before I leave early Wednesday morning (driving 3/4 of the way on Wednesday, then finishing the drive on Thursday, the first day of the convention). Just took a short break to look at this forum to see what people have been talking about today.

That's cool. It's no problem. Just do your things.
Btw, does anyone has that scan from this movie? The one with Menma/Tobi vs. Two generation of lovers (short for NS/MK).

her idea about a date is ...quite interesting naruto's idea was something completely different and it makes me think,,...... that means that she acually considered it a date when he said so and after al thet happened she still remembered him saying it was a date ...interesting indeed

Huh - that's funny, I totally hadn't noticed that!
Indeed - he needs to be let in on her food weakness Plus, something to give as a peace offering when he gets her annoyed at him in the future.

Not sure if you want the screencaps of that scene or the video link, so here's both

I went back and listened to it, and Sakura definitely, very clearly days 'date' - though I'm not sure if the Japanese word has the same implications as the English word 'date', because Naruto asks right after if it's a fun/exciting date, and then Sakura gets mad at him.

so there's a chance that she might be the one who said its a date , but what did naruto mean by an exciting date that is if he acually said that

I'm a little mixed. I thought Naruto insists that they're on a date and Sakura tells him that it's not, which in process pulls his ear. Hm, can somebody refresh my memory?

So I wonder how long the movie stays in theater. They are selling tickets really well.
Edit: Another RTN spoilers (C-Rank Mission):
This is for fun (SS FAN):

Goes to show that everyone there acknowledges that it had romantic implications and also how it parallels Minato and Kushina, the badass couple of the previous generation. People that express distaste for the parallels in Naruto are just annoyed at how much it makes sense. Parallels that portray the potential of the next generation are used in a lot of fictional works, but it only bothers people in this case because it means that it is inevitable that Naruto and Sakura become the badass couple of the current generation.
That looks like a funny SS fanart. It seems Sasuke is annoyed that Naruto and Itachi are getting all the attention from Sakura, as if his inferiority complex toward those two wasn't bad enough.

I don't want to put a damper on things but that is not necessarily true. Most of the drawing reviews of RTN (on Pixiv at least) do not draw that portion of the movie (Naruto holding Sakura bridal style). You are only seeing a small handfull. Go to the Road to Ninja Tag and see some of the drawings yourself if you have the spare time.
Edit: I forgot to say that any images that look like it has "stacks" (squares behind it) then it is a multiple image submissions. Click on the thumb and you will see a larger cover image then click on it again. It will open a new tab or window for you and you can view all the pages they uploaded. I will say this, respect that website. If you use any images and post it somewhere else, always give the link to the artist. As a fellow artist, it is most respectful when you do that.

If it was just a one time thing then I wouldn't give it much thought, but that type of drawing keeps appearing over and over again. So even if it's still small compared to other fanarts it's still noticeable enough to know that the scene left an impact in a good amount of people.

Amen.
The fact is being acknowledged in Japan means something. It's as if it is a value moment in the movie. It does serves as a new generation of MinaKushi. Rightfully so. It's crazy that we almost miss the chance to know about the bridal rescue because the earlier spoiler didn't mention otherwise. Got to look underneath the underneath.
Btw, does anyone feels like they're happy that the old interview about NaruSaku being in the movie was true. Seems like rumor are becoming more and more 95% true, though there are exception of course. Glad they weren't lying.

Yeah, I remember those rumors, in fact it is because of those rumors that I always had faith that we will have Narusaku moments in the movie. I'm embarrass to actually type that down, because this whole thing about the pairings shouldn't be about faith, but about logic . If you believe in something, use logic to defend that, not faith. But it wasn't the case for those rumors. Even though I never really admitted on any of the post that I believed Narusaku moments WILL happen in the movie, mainly because logically in my head I knew that I shouldn't have to much faith in a rumor, but I always did have the feeling that it will happen.
However, even though I always hoped it will happen, I never actually believed that the movie will actually give us that amount of Narusaku moments that it eventually did. But, because I always believed in those rumors, I wasn't surprise. This is probably why I never got worried about the Road to Ninja one-shot, and advertisement showing a playboy Sasuke.
I just want to make it clear though, don't generally put a lot of faith in rumors. I only did it for that rumor, because, well, I believed in that website where I heard that rumor. (If someone has the link, please post it, so that new(er) people will know what rumors they are.) I'm really glad that those rumors turned true......unless we mis-interpreted that entire rumor, and it was talking about something else.

Well said.
I think a lot of people dropped the rumor after the movie was getting closer to the release date. That said don't put faith on a rumor. It's a rumor until proven truth. It is still funny to see that the rumor became true. I guess those voice actors had too much fun.
Here's the link to the rumor:

Wisdom, as though never spoken
Ghosts, in the end will be in the image of ghosts and will disappear
Like a clang we accept our resonance
The thing he longed for, How he ended up
You feeling grief, today that is something that cannot be helped.
Like that of someone trying to hide something, Like the things that they lost
The empty days, Does it need be taken back?, With that, See you again tomorrow.
Having no interest, like it was nothing
Transparency if separated from the investigation will lead to not knowing a thing
As such is not good, can't run away, will no longer do
Its not clear, like a ring
The thing he longed for, How he ended up
You feeling grief, today that is something that cannot be helped.
Like that of someone trying to hide something, Like the things that they lost
The empty days, Does it need be taken back?, With that, See you again tomorrow.
Slowly, it became a ring, it became a simple thing
Does he agree of it? Does he oppose it? What would he do about it?
Hand in hand, 1,2,3 they went out
Whose the heretic now?! Whose the heretic now ?!
The thing he longed for, How he ended up
You feeling grief, today that is something that cannot be helped.
Like that of someone trying to hide something, Like the things that they lost
The empty days, Does it need be taken back?, With that, See you again tomorrow.
Perfectly describes the NS goodness in the movie doesn't it??
The family that couldn't be.
