Probably the Sakura Haruno Ninja Cards are really rare in the game compared to the much more common Hinata Hyuga Stalker Cards.

That hug scene is one of new sakura ninja cards. "Hidden feelings blossom from the result of training". Wow.

Why are they trying to still tease us with "hidden feelings?" The manga ended 4 years ago, we KNOW who she ends up with. Her feelings for Sasuke were NEVER hidden! Kishimoto himself said everything about NaruSaku was a red herring, and on top of that we were fed Naruto never truly liked Sakura anyway. SO WHAT's THE POINT?

 

 

Heck, I thought if that Sakura was sooo hated, she would be the last character you would want to advertise. It would be like DragonBall Super advertising Yamcha has a new power-up!

 

SP, if you really want us back, just MAKE AN ALTERNATE ENDING. You could make this franchise like the Fate Series, with several interpretations and conclusions! Think of the money you would make then if you just weren't so focused on the one canon!

I ain't putting no stock in it and I still ain't buying the game. But I have to admit, I do like where this is going. It's like them admitting NaruSaku is the real deal.

only way I'm buying anything Naruto related again is when Kishimoto himself admits he kittened up, then he fixes the ending the way it is supposed to be. Until then, Naruto belong with Superman 64 and the rest of the stuff that I wouldn't even disrespect my trash can with.

 

Eh there is always the option to start a bonfire them and roast some smores, or something over it. the hatred will be the perfect seasoning

Actually I don't even have that opinion. I've stated this a while back, but even if Naruto did marry Sakura the series would take a turn for the worst if they HAD TO make a sequel series starring the kids as the main characters because it would be most likely one of three directions logically speaking. 1) Naruto achieves world peace, the ninja system is abolished and the kids just have slice of life scenarios in their setting. or 2) Naruto does NOT achieve world peace and still be the hypocritical scumbag you see now in a sense. or 3) just like scenario 1. but they ninja system continues because they are now facing extraterrestrial threats ad therefore the series stops being about ninjas. My ideal ending is there IS NO sequel it ends just with Naruto otherwise that whole prophecy of him being the chosen one "conflict ender" is utter BS and pointless

Don't get me wrong, I was against the idea of a sequel way back then too. My argument being that if the moral is for the current gen to surpass the last, where do you go from there? And even if the ending implied that, you still have hurdles in making the sequel. You don't want the next gen so overpowered that there's nothing to tell, but on the other hand you don't want them at the same level because otherwise you'll repeat the same mistakes the characters made last time. And somehow SP managed to do both. 

 

I just want an alternate ending that makes sense, and kills the need for future sequels. Kind of like that alternate ending to Terminator 2 (the future is all good and therefore no need for machines and the like).

I agree. An alternate ending isn't good enough. The current canon isn't the reality of Naruto that deserves to grow and evolve. Not that Boruto will ever do any such thing, but still.

I mean, the writers already have a convenient albeit semi-plausible 'out' available to them by going with the "the current world is a product of the Moon Eyes plan" idea.

Wasn't the idea of the Moon Eyes plan that it would be a pleasant reality without pain? Also from what happened to the main characters, it now seems like the message was that Obito and Madara were right all along. Everyone would be better off if they won.

I agree. An alternate ending isn't good enough. The current canon isn't the reality of Naruto that deserves to grow and evolve. Not that Boruto will ever do any such thing, but still.

Naruto(the Story) is like this upcomming child you are happily waiting for as a parent just to fail the whole parenthood because you have zero clue how to raise that child. So this child arrives into a serious world and its raised in a fairytale-nonsense where he believes that moral-beats-everything and chasing-a-friend-to-the-death are the way to go. And you as a outsider just feel pity for this kid because you know he will never make it far in life. 

If there was ever a chance of a reboot, then it needs to be done in a 'seinen'-genre. You can't provide a Story with Villains such as Madara, Obito, Orochimaru and Pain (who would perfectly fit in that genre) with serious ambitions and cold-cruel actions in combination with Protagonist who would fit more in a classical disneymovie. Its not like in One Piece where u have these perfectly fine interesting-styled arc-villains without much backgroud-stories who actually fit in a shonen-genre.

Get rid of Hinata as a Character... because she is kinda useless for the story? and she doesn't have a well-founded purpose in the Story (other than having a tunnelvision on Naruto). Its the same Problem in Attack-on-Titan where u have Mikasa with really cool bad-ass moments, and her affection towards Eren can be cute sometimes.. but on the big picture her character lacks so much depth and purpose. I honestly dont understand why stuff like that is even happening in terms of characterwriting. She is just a Character for bad-ass moments, thats it. Hinata is just a character for... idk what its called.. this... repeating-realiziation-of-naruto-who-fought-alone-to-the-top-moments and her trying to be 'inspired' by that.

Make Naruto less dumb, and more versatile with his emotions and experience. I want him to think over his situations, to think about the 2-faced-villagers who treated him like kitten and then worshipping him as a hero just because he got strong. He had nothing in his childhood, surely chasing-sasuke isn't the only thing he wants to do or catch-up in his life. There should be more stuff going around in his mindest and inner-self conflicts with some relationships and situations. I don't want him to find out that he holds the 9-tails so in the next episode he can act as if nothing happpened.

I feel like there's something really weird going on in Kishimoto's head. Hardly anyone would handle their story and characters as inappropriately as he did, regardless of what people were saying to them. It is incredibly obvious how kittened up a lot of things he did were (SS and Naruto praising Obito for some obvious examples), and I don't see how he ever thought it was okay to do especially in a mainstream shonen work.

I agree that Kishi would have to reboot the series in a way. It isn't just the pairings but the series got away from ninjas with strategy and cool techniques to godlike humans who happen to be ninjas. This story needed to be less DBZ and more early part 1 Naruto.

Hardly anyone would handle their story and characters as inappropriately as he did, regardless of what people were saying to them. It is incredibly obvious how kittened up a lot of things he did were (SS and Naruto praising Obito for some obvious examples), and I don't see how he ever thought it was okay to do especially in a mainstream shonen work.

I still say honestly I think He just gave up. Between studio and editor pressure for NH and other things I frankly think he got sick and tired of it and just threw his hands in the air and gave them the over the top nonsense they wanted. Thats why theres such a wide disaparity between chapters and arcs and why after so much Development of NS and SK that it all suddenly veers off into lala land

But those people's names aren't on it. No one knows who they are. It's written in stone forever that he wrote this kittened up garbage. I don't think most people would be willing to accept that.

Yeah, everybody as a breaking point and unfortunately the studio forced Kishi to break and not care anymore. Also, if they wanted to they could have affected Kishi's livelihood. Not saying that actually happened but I know companies can make your life hard if you go against them. Company pressure is some the hardest pressures to deal with especially in the anime industry.
