Damn you. No he threw it but it faded enough that the villain couldn't see it (so couldn't absorb it"?") anymore but not enough that it didn't hit him in the arm. There was nothing special about the attack other then he threw the rasengan.
Wait. It shouldn't hurt him though? Unless he's not like those who can't get hurt by anything but taijutsu and senjutsu.

That was the juubi your talking about this villain has the eye's in his palm that should still see chakra but wasn't able to see this stupid attack. He has those pill but he is not the juubi so he doesn't have that immunity. It still an ass pull but not for the reason you are thinking of.

You know I figured since we're getting into new content for the Boruto manga I thought i might as well share my thoughts on the matter:
In case anyone is wondering I'm going to be giving it one arc just to see how it is, and as for the thumbnail i thought it looked cool and besides I think it be hilarious (in a dumb yet stupid fashion) to see a little family dispute between the siblings.. oh wait isn't that retreading a plot point from the original series... Well so much for originality

Given how unoriginal this series is now I wouldn't put it past these untalented hacks. So you're thinking that they're going to redo the hyuga branch hatred thing hinata and neji were part. If that's the case if hinata is the clan head she fails at it and accomplished nothing as usual. I'm still wait for a villain to show up and Naruto can't deal with it and his talk no justu doesn't work.
