I was given this link by GoNeKr@zY a few days ago:

http://www.flagfic.com/

The above website can convert any fanfic story from any of their supported websites into an e-book for your reader (e.g. Kindle). Useful for when you want to relax with a good fanfic away from the computer!

I've tried it with The Leaf's Naruto, and it looks great on the Kindle. biggrin.gif

Hopefully, some of you will also find the link useful. happy.gif

I had thought about investing in an e-reader. Now that I know you can do this, I might do so.

This sounds really cool. I'll have to try it out.

It's so much nicer reading fanfics away from the PC, as it's easier on the eyes and you also don't have any distractions.

I got my Kindle a couple of months ago. Initially, I was sceptical about investing in an e-reader as I like the feel of paper books, but I've been won over. Especially now that I know you can read fanfics anywhere you like - even on the bus. wink.gif

It's been so long since I read Narusaku fics, I'm going to have to trawl through the Great NaruSaku Fic thread for good reads to fill the Kindle with.

I love this site. Now i can finally read fanfics on my ipad offline =D
and yes. they look amazing as ebooks. i must admit though that
sometimes it might give an error while processing a story. if that
happens try and find the same story on another site and use that Url.
from what i've tested fanfiction.net fics work 99% of the time.
the other supported sites work maybe 85% of the time.

fanfictiondownloader also works well, though it's a piece of software that you download to your computer rather than web-based like flagfic

though, I prefer to just skip that whole process altogether and just read straight from the mobile version of fanfiction.net on an ipod touch, and hopefully the chapter that I'm currently on will be long enough that I can still read while being away from wifi. Even when I'm at home though, I don't read fics on computer anymore, lol

^^actually they do have a web version:-
http://www.fanfictio.../webversion.php

one of the main reasons i like to read fics offline is you can
almost double battery life with wifi and 3g off. so useful for my
ipad smile.gif

There's also an app called Pocket (formerly known as Read It Later) that I have loved and adored for over a year now, that allows you to 'tag/save' any and every website you've ever been to. It's like the ultimate bookmarker for your smartphone, and they have a new feature that I and many others have fallen in love with. It's a new text-to-voice feature, kind of like what the kindle has, where a 'voice' will read the text from any website you are on, and the voice can be set to read in British English/American English/French/German/etc, so you can even use the feature as a bit of a 'language learner' =p

What makes this new feature truly wonderful and amazing, is that it has turned the 2 million plus text stories on FFnet, into 'audible' stories. I have an audible.com account that I no longer need because of this new feature~
It's absolutely perfect for long plane flights, car trips, or just to be able to rest your eyes for a bit and enjoy your fave story through hearing =3

Thanks for the links, Digi, Krazy and Shauna. biggrin.gif

That text-to-voice feature sounds really cool, I can imagine it must be nice to just lie back and close your eyes, while your reader tells you your favourite fanfics. happy.gif

As Flagfic has been down for months, and Fanfictiondownloader doesn't support all of the fanfic archives I use, I was wondering if someone knew of any similar software that might create mobi (or even epub) documents from fanfic sites.  Something that works with places fanfictiondownloader doesn't like Fictionalley, and actually works with adultfanfiction.net (at least, I've never been able to get ffdownloader to work with AFF.net, despite its claims to work there).

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

Wow, that would be totally helpful... Too bad the site's down :/ There are other ways to do this though

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.
