I don't presume to know that every anime is perfect (which is false), but some comments about anime at destructoid really wanted me to punch something... Which I won't because I'm a peaceful person....so I'll just play some video games and take my anger out on it then XD

You can't please everybody. They either hate anime or they hate Halo.

Personally, I like it when the flesh out the universe some more. We're getting ODST this year, and Reach sometime next year... so there'll be more stories to tell about the Halo series.

You guys should read the stories by Eric Nylund. Makes the Halo series seem way more interesting then the weak stories the games bring forth. Definitely check them out.

In all seriousness this could be potentially good. BONES, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation are some of the best animation studios Japan has to offer and make top notch animes every year. Mamoru Oshii (worked on Ghost in the Shell) as a director means it looks to have a potentially good captivating story line. Microsoft/Bungie paid some really high ends to get this job done. I hope they make it based off The Fall of Reach novel in order to give Master Chief some personality instead of based off the games.

I watched it at first going, "OH MAH GAWD THIS IS SO KEWWWLLL" but once it was over... I dunno whether to laugh or cry. DX It's just... I don't think Halo and anime were evar supposed to mix. Evaaaarrr. It feels wrong to be.

Great to see all these animation studios collaborating, especially Bones and Toei. Toei didn't disappoint with DBZ, and Mazinger Z.
