It's funny, i was planning on buying all of the one piece volumes. I was thinking about buying the Naruto volumes before the clusterkitten of an ending, but no thanks. I can definitely say for sure that I'm planning on buying all the TG volumes as well as OP.

If Tokyo Ghoul gets released here, I try to make it my first complete collection. I don't really have a lot of mangas at home b/c my parents used to consider mangas a waste of money- well, I have my own job now (even though it's minimum payment, lol)

Also, I would only give out money for a manga if I know that I won't regret spending money on it. Tokyo Ghoul and CCS so far have been pretty much almost perfect in my eyes.

You know I kinda regret doing that now. I was collecting all the Naruto Volumes and felt proud doing so before the final two chapters came out. I'm not completely caught up with it, but I do have All of Part 1, Part 2 from the beginning to Sasuke and Itachi's fight, the last volume of the 5 Kage Summit Arc, The one where Naruto meets his mom (The first Naruto volume I ever bought),  then all of the war that's been released so far with Volume 68. I'm really debating on what I want to do with them because I constantly conflict with my self about just buying all the volumes but rip 699 and 700 from Volume 72, or just sell them to someone and make good money off it.

 

For sure I am planning on buying all the volumes for Tokyo Ghoul when they come out, and same thing goes for Attack on Titan like I've been doing for a while now. Man, June 16th is gonna be a long wait since that's when Volume 1 of Tokyo Ghoul comes out, and I've already decided to set my eyes out on the volumes from there.

I'll be looking forward to your comparison b/w the manga and anime video then ^_^ Speaking of youtube videos, Forneverworld's review of Ch.11 cracked me up in the beginning He might be a fanatic Hinata and NH fan, but I pretty much love his :RE reviews (I love the theories he's making).

So about Sasaki and Hinami- Yup, patience is the virtue ;) She's only seventeen but probably an extremely skilled ghoul considering that she has two Kagunes (Koukaku and Rinkaku) and an exceptional sense of smell; she must be a valuable member for Aogiri Tree (maybe she's badass, who knows)

Tsukiyama is most likely depressed b/c of Kaneki's disappearance. If you look at the last page:

If we get to see Tsukiyama speaking next week, it'll be sort of a flasback b/c Kanae's meeting with this person (can't remember the name right now ). What Tsukiyama is sniffing at is ... Sasaki's underwear, I think . Kanae received it from that photographer and gave it to Tsukiyama, but apparently, it didn't really raise latter's spirits.

Hmm, I guess it will come out on the 7th. That reminds me that on the same day the first episode of season 2 will probably come out. The first page of the new chapter said that it will come out at midnight on the 8th in Japan. No idea if that means midnight in the morning or evening (if that makes any sense). Japan goes ahead of the US 15h btw.

Oh, btw, something I love to hear is that the manga sales exceeded 10 million after juts three yrs since its serialization ^_^ If I remember correctly, it sold about 6 million copies the second half of this year alone (outranking Naruto) thx to the anime (as many people criticize it, it's one of the reason people like me eventually got into Tokyo Ghoul).

Funny thing is people are sayingTokyo Ghoul could replace AOT and take it's #2 spot as the best seelling manga for next year. Quite honestly I could actually see it considering that we won't have an anime for AOT until 2016 which again still sucks. The previous to AOT though OMG when that gets animated it's going to be insane. A little off topic, but I thought I'd share my thoughts about.

I did notice how when it comes to Re, Ishida has slowly been reintroducing characters as each chapter comes out so I'm very curious as to who we're going to see in the next chapter. The whole Sasaki and Kaneki thing is just wow... I can't wait for the chapter where he remembers everything again. Hopefully it doesn't take like 50-60 chapters to get us to that point.

So next to the black-haired twin girl, we have Kaneki/Sasaki, Eto/Tatsuki, the Quickes, and last but not least the One-Eyed Ghoul king who are one-eyed ghouls. What if, we might already know who the one-eyed ghoul is? We might already have been introduced to that person, but were never told that this person is the One-Eyed Ghoul King...

Well, as much as I ship TouKen, I will put my expectations low when it comes to them becoming "cannon". I ship them hard, I really do, but Kishimoto really did it for me- unfortunately. I trust Ishida in everything except the end couples. I'm 100% that AkiraxAmon will happen in the end (side characters always have it better off for some reason -.- *cough* Hinata *cough*)

Lol at that part with Kaneki's Kagune cutting the sexual tension I'd like to have it romantic, but not violent XD  Mutsuki and Shirazu already commented on how pretty she is. And Sasaki even blushed when she gave him the handkerchief God forbid me if Touka might have a boyfriend O_O But seeing how Ishida decided to end the last page of Tokyo Ghoul with Touka's words, gives me hope.

Lol, I'm kind of a LuNa shipper. I love how Luffy lets Nami ever touch his strawhead.

If Amon is still alive, that is lol. Random thought: the last time we saw Amon, he was fighting Tatara (or something like that). What if he got taken back to Aogiri and turned into half a ghoul by them?

 

I'd like it to be romantic too XD Another reason I doubt she'd have a boyfriend is that she's a ghoul, I highly doubt she'd find a human boyfriend at college, and we didn't see any ghouls that she had interest in outside Kaneki. 

 

I love LuNa. I love their interactions, and I love the fact that she is the only one to touch his hat. They have great moments together XD

Yeah, I know for a fact that I won't ever regret spending money on OP or TG for that matter. I have a job, but I'd also have to pay for school and stuff, so it might take a while to get all the OP and TG volumes :'( I wanna see how AoT and AgK do before I decide to get them, and I probably won't end up getting fairy tail. I'm not sure about it yet lol It;s just a pain to read full volumes on the phone or the computer sometimes lol sometimes I'd just rather read the physical story.

I was never as emotionally/physically invested in Naruto as I am with OP. To me OP is head and shoulders my favorite (before I got into Tokyo Ghoul) and Naruto was partially something to read to waste time until the OP chapters came out. Since I got into TG, it's become a pretty close second favorite to me, easily eclipsing what Naruto meant to me. Because of that, if it was me, I'd sell everything Naruto that I'd owned. The only tie that I have with Naruto is the fanfic that I'm writing, and other NS fanfics. I'll never read/watch anything Naruto again after I finish my fic lol

First of all, uh oh, you hit me in the vitals for reminding me that season 2 of AoT won't come out until 2016 T_T Did season 1 only cover the first 30 chapters or so? Enough time has passed to collect enough content for season 2. My only explanation for this could be a) Studio Wit is working on this animated movie or b) the political arc which spends more than 10 chapters kind of discouraged them to animate it immediately.

I have no idea about the future sales of Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul so far sold 10 million volumes. Attack on Titan so far has sold 45 million copies in five yrs, and topped the One Piece manga sales in Japan the first half of the year with 8.3 million sales. Tokyo Ghoul in comparison sold only 1.3 million sales during that time period (Rank 26): http://www.animenews...ies-2014/.75177

With the release of the anime, however, Tokyo Ghoul catapulted to Rank 4 and sold almost 7 million volumes! That's a huge difference! That's how it caught my attention tbh. I mean, the anime was interesting, but I forgot about it after a while... Until I saw Forneverworld's manga sale video. What the anime accomplished was raising many watchers' interest basically. Oh, and One Piece and AoT are pretty much identical in their sales. One Piece sales are said to slowly go down though... :  http://www.animenews...ies-2014/.81607

Yup, what Ishida did was just clever as hell. Making everyone think Kaneki died, only heightened every fans' joy when they saw Sasaki being Kaneki. It's probably like one of the top ten manga moments this year- for me at least. If you go on youtube and see the reviewers' reactions- it was priceless.

In addition to this, he starts doubting CCG a little bit after Tatsuki told him about the basement of the mansion Kanou is hiding in.

I pray to God that Touka is single. I don't need another Nishiki & Kimi relationship (it's something special and should stay something unique in Tokyo Ghoul).

Naruto to me became more important as I got older. I admit to having come in and out of it from time to time, but I always gave it the most attention out of all the famous mangas. Oh boy, did I get hurt with this ending.

I grew up reading mangas from the screen XD I don't mind it tbh. But it's always nice to own something physical if you like a particular work, may it be manga or book.

I read all of TG on kissmanga.com because instead of going page by page, they have the whole chapter at once, and all you have to do is scroll down, but sometimes you have to mess with it and it gets a little annoying XD

Lol, Nishiki got pushed back into the background the most after his own arc with Kimi. But he seems to have gotten a lot stronger in :re (still can't beat Sasaki, hehe).

Speaking of Kaneki beating the One-Eyed Ghoul King. The trailer to Season 2 said something about him finding the One-Eyed Ghoul king.

What are your favotire arcs? If I think my top Arcs are

1. Aogiri Arc

Tokyo Ghoul √A will premiere on January 8 and run for 12 episodes. Tokyo's TOHO Cinemas Nihonbashi will host an advance screening of the first episode on January 4. Funimation will stream the series as it airs.

Whereas Ishida was credited with creating the original manga for the first season, Ishida is now also credited with the original story concept for the second season. Funimation streamed the first season as it aired this past summer, and holds the home video rights.

The band amazarashi will perform the ending song "Kisetsu wa Tsugitsugi Shindeiku" (Seasons Dying One After Another). österreich will perform the opening theme "Munō" (Incompetence).

For those who have watched the anime: The synopsis to episode 1 of season 2 strongly implies that season 2 will set directly off where Season 1 left of ^_^ So Ch.71 and the rest of the Aogiri Arc are most likely getting animated.

EDIT: I believe that after the Aogiri Arc the "original story" will begin. tt must be during the 6th month time skip- I don't think I will mind it at all. Notice though how the one-eyed ghoul twins Kurona and Nashiro are included. Maybe if we are lucky, there will be season 3 one day.

He really did seem to be a lot stronger. His Bikaku has developed really nicely, I wonder what impact he will have later on. 

 

I really need to start the anime lol My favorite arcs are the same as yours. The Aogiri tree was definitely my favorite.

It's probably like one of the top ten manga moments this year- for me at least. If you go on youtube and see the reviewers' reactions- it was priceless.

Well for AOT, I know it covers up to chapter 33 for season 1 with a few huge notable differences compared to the manga. My theory on them taking their time is well two things. the first being what you mentioed and the second is the animation quality I believe they want to have enough budget to give the same animation level as season 1 did for AOT so I can understand their pov from that perspective.

Another thing about AoT that might be adding to the delay with the animation is that they could just want the manga to get really far ahead, that way they can plan accordingly, and the anime doesn't get rushed or anything. After all, AoT is only supposed to last like 100 chapters. The writer already had the ending, but then it got leaked or something, so he had to change it.

I've seen that Touken fanart before. It's so sad T_T I hope that Sasaki will somehow remember Touka and call out her name just like that.

I don't think you need to rush the anime. You could also just wait, and catch up shortly before Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 comes out. That way the waiting won't kill you (like me).

Should I be excited about the AoT movie? It's an original story, right? I'm glad that AoT fell into the hands of such a good studio. Oh, and the Liveaction movie- I'm mad that Levi got replaced. It doesn't feel the same if it's not one of my favorite characters.

Lol, I can't wait to see my younger brother's reaction when he will finally pick up Tokyo Ghoul. After having marathoned the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood anime (something I need to do, too), he'll give Tokyo Ghoul a try. He got me into AoT, so I'm gonna return the favor

The ending got leaked? I thought that Isayame just originally planned on killing everyone, but changed his mind afterwards due to the success of the anime. Oh, LuckyChi7 posted an interesting interview about AoT, but I can't find it T_T (I should have bookmarked it).

Maybe, I'm reading to much into it, but I think that's very fishy, really. To find out any clues, I'm off reading Tokyo Ghoul Jack. I'll tell you guys what it's like

Oh, I see, that's what those specials are. Uhm, the last major arc I left of in the One Piece manga was the Skypia Arc... When I used to watch the anime back then, I had just finished the Water 7 arc (it's been so long though). Reading everything from the start is a lot better in my opinion if I want to catch up

I just finished the Jack spinoff. Lol, nothing was said about Arima's hair color XD It's nothing necessarily important, just a simply ghoul story with Arima who was already a Ghoul investigator with 16-17. The art in there is very... simplistic. The spinoff if only seven chapters long, so it's easy to catch up. It's interesting though to learn more about Arima's personality and badass moves.

Who knows what is going on with Arima's hair color. Maybe he really is connected to Kaneki... Stress? You think that guy is in stress XD? He seems so perfectly calm most of the time (he hasn't changed a lot since he was 17).

Since I feel like Ch.11 was rather... confusing in the end, I tried to look around on tumblr and in other forums. I think I get it now:

Ch.11 of :re

The end of Ch.11 ties closely to Ch.3. When Shirazu and Urie wanted to get information about Torso out of Chie Horie, that small female photographer, she wanted something in exchange:

As you can see, Chie Horie wants to have a "personal belonging from Haise with a strong scent" for Kanae. The latter is the mysterious guy we see on the second page. Chie refers to him as a female model to hide Kanae's identity. See Kanae calling out "Shu", so Tsukiyama? I'm pretty sure that Kanae is worried about his depressed master Tsukiyama and, therefore, asked Chie Horie to get something from Kaneki. I don't know why, but apparently Chie somehow knows that Sasaki is Kaneki b/c otherwise she wouldn't have asked Urie and Shirazu to give her a personal item from Sasaki. If we go to Ch.11:

 

 

 

 

Turns out what the two idiots were trading Chie with is... Sasaki's underwear (the one that has the word the energy on it). It's not weird at all to steal your superior's underwear and trade it to a complete stranger without being suspicious, nooooo    Kanae gave the clothing to Tsukiyama who is seen in the left lower panel. He says:" What is this?" No idea what his reaction is, but he looks depressed as hell. The Tsukiyama panel must be a flashback b/c Kanae is meeting Chie to return the underwear (again, I still find it gross, lol). When Chie asks how Tsukiyama reacted he says:" Scheisse (Sh*tty), there's no point in answering that". Looks like Kanae was not pleased with the reaction Tsukiyama was giving.

Here's what I'd like to ask: If Sasaki is really Kaneki, why is Kanae giving such a negative reply to Chie's question? Did Tsukiyama not recognize Kaneki's smell in Sasaki's underwear? He should b/c we all know how obsessed Tsukiyama is with Kaneki's smell. I miss Tsukiyama's "Tres Bien" moments T_T
