So Kishi gave another interview in regards to the events of Gaiden and other things.  Found this from Narutobase

http://ure.pia.co.jp.../-/42173?page=2

Key points:

-Chouji and Karui were forcefully paired up just bc he needed to create a new InoShikaChou

-the scene where karin appears was supposed to be longer (meaning he wanted to explain more along with actual flashbacks) but since it would take more time and sound contrived, he cut the scenes out. (meaning the flashback was already outlined) So he wants to leave it to the readers' imagination.

-he explained that sakura and karin's friendship bloomed bc they were able to understand each other's feelings since they were both almost killed by sasuke. kishi didn't write the flashbacks of their friendship bc he believed drawing out the last SSS scene together was more important

Yeah I believe him.

Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.

These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

At least he admits that ChouKarui came the kitten out of nowhere.  Don't see why he couldn't have paired him with a fellow clanswoman, but whatever.

And wow, Karin and Sakura bonded over a man nearly killing them.  Lol Kishi

- Everyone called it.

- Contrived? Well of course it would have been, because it never felt plotted out. Imagining yourself? A lot of people imagined a crazy Sakura who can't stop leaving Sasuke alone. That needed to be explain if all else. Not the appropriate time to be left as "imagination."

- It would have helped if you described it because the story needed that after many unanswered questions, including the photo, that piece of Sarada, etc. It would have brought out answers and more characters to them, regardless if it's a flashback. But no, that almost near killed experience is enough for them. Yes, that's all it takes.

Lastly, he could have written it in the volume. Why didn't he...

Because he doesn't give a kitten, they handed him a check to make a bridge to Boruto and he plotted gaiden while he was sitting on the toilet.

No wonder Sakura never brought up Karin to Salad, she didn't want to explain that they bonded over her father almost killing her...several times...after he abandoned the leaf village...that destroyed his clan.

There`s more.  This time from Kishi`s brother Seishi

http://www.ganganonl.../sukedachi/#2nd

Key points

-kishi wants readers to understand Sasuke and Sakura's connection through Gaiden
-he felt pressured writing Gaiden thinking ppl would not like it as much as the original series
-he wanted to write sarada's character as "not too lady-like" so he bought women psychology books like "WOMEN POWER UP" to study more about women characteristics to write sarada's character (lol)
-Chouchou is the staff's favorite

-So that means that SS is literally only held together by Salad.

-Clearly people won't like it like the original, since it's based off a horrible ending, with toxic pairings, and recycled kids.

-He should have read those books 15 f***ing years ago.

-Well, given their selection of characters, it's not too surprising.

what's there to like about chouchou? her desire to find her "real" father was a straight up mockery of Sarada who had legitimate issues and concerns

but since it would take more time and sound contrived

How could Kishimoto possibly have the nerve to say -- or even imply -- that contrivance is of any concern to him?  Seriously?

I can only hope he doesn't know what that concept actually means.  That's his only possible excuse for saying something that outrageous after what he's done and what he's put his fans through.

-Chouchou is the staff's favorite

That figures.  It's similar to their choice of Hinata.  Both are useless, annoying, self-centered characters who detract from the story.

Honestly, I have to wonder what Kishi's staff has been smoking.  Whatever it is, they have bonded in some kind of stupefying, shared delusion.

Not defending him here. But. Is it me? It seems the more Kishi puts his foot in his month. He literally wants to destroy his franchise by pissing off the fans. Unless he's senile or is suffering from dementia, there's no way he's in it for the money. Think of it. Why is he chasing away his customers. He knows that everyone knows him in Japan, so there is no way a new audience is large enough to replace his former fandom. And the world pirates his stuff 90% of the time. That's not the proper way to amass the yen given from his audience. Its more like he wants the Bolt film to flop by lying. Why do you think he lied to us when he did the one-shot Bolt chapter about Sakura born as an elite? You can tell this interview was stage by SP to do damage control since two weeks ago's interview.

Oh Kishi, Kishi, Kishi..... ever heard that silence is golden or that sometime it's better to keep silent and thought to be a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt?

Ps. LOL at how he managed to fail Sarada's character even with a book on women's psychology.

Pps. At this point a SakuKarin romance would be much more believable than the plain old SS....

But they were all of them deceived, for another canon was made. In the land of Japan, in the fires of Studio Pierrot, the dark Lord Kishimoto forged in secret a master canon, to control all others, and into this canon, he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One canon to rule them all.

Oh man...I can't even  :twitch:

This is just too funny  :lmao:

-Karin and Sakura "bonding" over a murder attempt, leading to Sakura acting as if Karin never even existed afterwards :zaru:

-Chouchou being staff's favourite user222437_pic71490_1370609620_thumb.png  *this confirms that Kishi's staff has kitten taste*

- SS being together only because of Salad  user222437_pic71490_1370609620_thumb.png

-Kishi reading "women power" books and still failing to show us a good strong female character user222437_pic71490_1370609620_thumb.png

:lmao: :lmao:

smh Kishi, everytime you speak out you just make the situation worse !

More of the same crap coming from Kishimoto. Can't say I'm surprised.

One thing that stands out to me though is that SS is only together because they have a kid now. If I remember correctly Kishimoto said the same thing about NH. It's really sad that his reasoning for these pairings is that they're obligated to be together just because he made them have kids.

It's just dumb and a complete waste to have it end that way.

-In the end, it's due to Sarada, because Sasuke said it himself. I didn't get anything out of them two at all.

-It's not really hard if you stay on the normal course with action, character development, and message delivery. In the end, you did the drama approach to attract readers in order to feel "edgy." I guess that explains the bad direction, yet could have done a normal shounen route. It wouldn't be that difficult.

-You should have done that during your heyday of Naruto. Sarada got things started but never got it going to make her seem larger than life. Instead, she's there to question with no answers until the end.

-It's opinion and all, but man, what a poor taste.

He avoided writing it because somehow he had the feeling it would end up sounding contrived.
