So it been a few hours have their been any pro-enders that have gone on and on about how amazing the new series art work is yet. Hopefully not.

You people are acting so spoiled it's disgusting. I will agree with the notion this shouldn't have continued but most of you are just kittening about the art? Really? You do know this is another artist right? He's going to take time to hit his stride and improve so give him more than early artwork to kittening judge the poor man! Are you saying you wanted Kishi to be trapped continuing to do this and not be allowed to move on just because everyone around him won't let the series end? Just accept the series has a new artist and give him time to improve. Naruto has some pretty poor artwork at first as well especially in that weird ass pilot so stop flipping out over artwork this early on.

people need to shut up about the art... it's not the original artist so it won't look exactly the same.......I quite like the new style, at 1st i didn't but it refreshing and i can see the artist is very skilled, yeah it'll will interesting to see how they pull it off because with the whole peace and everything, seem's like it'll be interesting, tbh my only gripe is that it's not written by the original author.

Naruto story had ended, this story about his son and the next generation duh. It not like Dragon Ball, were the next generation never really do anything. Naruto isn't dieing, it's evolving. The only thing that should have ended already is the Anime Anyway, I can't wait to read this. The Sarada story was pretty good, and I kind of wish she was the main character instead of Boruto. Also, her outfit look really great in this. Really hope they don't change it

 

My condolences for sifting through the garbage to find these. Some of those posts nearly gave me cancer. Especially the last one. So many grammar tumors

It didnt, they sat next to each other during the Chunin exams of the Boruto movie. People just claimed that they would stop being friends since Sakura married Sasuke and Ino got stuck with the "silver medal"

 
I thought it was implied that they weren't friends anymore because when Sakura was fainting a lot and in deep debt trying to pay off mortgage (Naruto Gaiden), Ino was completely unaware and didn't seem to be helping Sakura out. Just like Naruto.

Thought to be entirely honest those comments don't come off as people actually liking the art work as much as people stubbornly refusing to admit what they like is kitten. So they are trying to praise it as new innovative and creative.

 
Pretty sure they are talking about the new guy's artwork. Everything they said was actually in response to someone else:

Yes. From what i recall people talking about was the five things that happened in the 2014 jump festa was: Someone dressed up liked Naruto and everyone called him scumbag, Kishi asked everyone to watch/read/continue to support bolt everyone laughed, kishimoto tried another excused about how he likes both Sakura and Hinata which depressed chie so junko told him to be quite, one editors said he didn't understand why nH happened other then kishi said it was for "personal reasons," and the main cast now including Nana shouted out their signature attack and she said "Naruto-kun" which made everyone laugh.

 

The only thing i know about jump festa 2015 was the revealed those clowns were taking over and the new posters was shown which everyone mocked. 

 

The reason why Salad has become basically the face for bolt (or at least the character actually care about or has any interest in) is simple. The gaiden which showed her off better and made her more likable then Bolt in his movie.

Pretty much still I don't get why they are using Sakura's offspring instead of Hinata's daughter as the heroine. They (the creators) hated Sakura. Stupid logic.

Not yet. But you have Kira's webcomic coming out in and my hybrid novel style of traditional literature and Asian light novel titled series comes out this October 10th and several more NS fans that I personally know planning to do a Naruto remake. 

 

Although, I will create at a new thread if i discovered any more manga, manhwa and manhua that resembles a Naruto rippoff as BC.

Not a fan of the new art tbh. Not that I was a fan of this new series to begin with. But that's what we can expect. The ending and subsequent movies have defined the future of the franchise. Instead of proper storytelling and care for the product the future is fanservice and pairing nonsense. The Last was all about catering to NH, the Boruto movie was about catering to NaruSasu fans. 

 

It's all fanservice. But the true losers in the end are NH/SS because they aren't getting what they want. They aren't getting NH/SS being treated with respect by the writers and they aren't getting a Naruto where NH/SS lends itself to the series to make it a better story. They are getting the opposite, the decline of the series thanks to their rabid fandumb. NS was different. It lent itself to the story and made it a more interesting narrative.

 

But they will never understand that because all they wanted was their stupid pairings

 

I couldn't agree more. The moment they decided to go with that route, all of us know what kind of storytelling quality the fans will get going forward. We already saw the glimpse in Gaiden last time. Anyone call that mini series a good story really need to read more literature to benchmark.

 

The first thing that crossed my mind was: "Is this the official promotional cover?"

 

It's pretty unfurnished for a promotional material. You know, the one that is supposed to generate hype, to trigger curiosity and to invite potential readers. The characters' expression was... bland... I didn't get any feeling when I saw it. Just some random child jumping and showing off a creepy smile. With some random characters in the background. It looks so lifeless. It looks half-baked and half-done...

 

I find it rather ironic that the tagline of the series is 'NARUTO NEXT GENERATION'.

 

Ermm.. riiight... "Next generation", but all we can see in the promotional cover is the previous cast with older and tired looks. Sasuke looks like Snape, Naruto looks like a henchman --seriously though, if one never read this series, they might have mistaken him as the villain XD Hinata, her daughter, and Sakura looks creepy. Seriously folks, take a look at that poster again. No offense to the artist.

 

I thought everyone had children in the last volume? Where did they go? Why do they rely on the previous generation so much to promote the new series?

 

Compare that to other mangaka's work outside their serialization. FMA for instance:

When you look at those FMA characters, it has expression, each character depicted a pose that represents their role in the story. You got the fierce ladies, the funny chaps, the reliable guys, the helpful sidekicks, even the dog is adorable. You can see a lot of effort put into it. The characters look lively. It made you giggle to see their super-deformed version. It brings joy just to see Hiromu Arakawa's drawing.

 

I won't judge the book from its cover, or from its financial result. But darn, Naruto franchise has fallen all the way that it's not even funny. Frankly, I feel pity to those involved in getting this product. They sure made a terrible mistake... Time will tell...

Not only that but in chapter 8 you had both Sakura and Naruto give speeches about "blood doesn't make you a child's parent the bond you have with that child does." Clearly setting up. Yes, Sakura isn't the birth mom and karin is, but she is Salad's mother because she raised her. But then Pro-ending Naruto fans do what they always do sent threatening letter and suddenly that message was abandon and she is SS's child. So the manga actually had to abandon the moral message it was setting up for the first 8 chapters. That's not a good thing.

Most likely but worst. Judging by the artwork it looks like they are doing their genin exams. So it's first chapter will be going over the chibi oneshot.

Never watched one of his videos before...god he looks like a prick. Starts off laughing and considers the image the funnies thing he has seen all week. He explains the image before letting people see it....god his cuts make his 5 minute video look schizophrenic, and annoying to watch, have to keep stopping. He is harsher in his criticism then I was. ... Ok never mind since he only really focus on Sasuke's now look. Ok at least his voice is better then forever world's balls never drop, and what ever  double4anime(?) was. He a annoying dude brah. Oh and he is one of those kitten who does a video about ever release instead of at least combining them into one video.

I didn't know that was the case! I thought it was all Kishimoto's idea, the message he'd wanted to send to his children (no matter how messed up the message was).

That's how I came about finding out about this quote on quote new take on old characters cover. Sawyer's reaction was hilarious, I never liked seeing his Naruto reviews since he's a big Naruto fan boy, but he's not as bad as forneverworld, and I actually really do enjoy his One Piece Manga reviews.

Anyhow he pointed out the freaking elephant in the room, being every single character and why they look the way they look, especially Sasuke! One thing he touched is what it all boils down to and that's that this is the price fans pay for Naruto being milked so much.

All those big narutards that never wanted the series to end got what they wanted. You wanted it to go on sure, but guess what the original creator doesn't want to so you guys are going to have to have someone else do the artwork for it. Then we get something that looks like really bad fanart. Now I'm an artist as well and what I see when I look at this artwork is someone that isn't using their own style, nor are they using the original creators look . Perhaps it'll get better, who knows, but for now it looks like a hot mess.

What makes it look even worse is that some genius decided to put Kishimotos work and this guy's work right next to each other, who the f*** does that! Like seriously you want this guy's work to be the new face of Naruto, and yet you put his work right next to Kishimoto! Perhaps his work wouldn't have gotten so scrutinized had it been on its own, but having it right next to Kishimoto is making it look even worse since you're able to tell the obvious difference in artistic talent!

It's just freaking crazy. In the end everyone is entitled to their opinions on what they think of this new manga. However no one can deny the fact that this is all the results of greed!!

Female characters in that series are lucked out. Not counting action figure, they rarely get one or any new one. Not even sure why. Hinata was the last one. Lucky us...
