I just wanna say this, I'm not really big when it comes to Sports manga, but I decided to check out this series after randomly clicking on an article on Anime News Network, and the artwork just really intrigued me. Especially when it comes to synopsis of the series. I've read series like Slam Dunk, and Kuroko's Basket, and I've been meaning to read Haikyu just been putting it off for so long I just kinda forgot (one of these days). The thing that really stood out to me was the fact that this sport's manga was going to be centered around elementary which felt refreshing since the other sports manga have either been junior high, or high school. The other thing that really separated it out was that it wasn't your typical all boys sports manga, and the synopsis even addresses that.
Man all I got to say is after reading these 18 chapters (at the moment that's how many are out) I'm really betting on this series like it's got so much potential to be one of the big contenders. There's another sports manga series that just started recently on it's 3rd chapter which I'm curious about, but this one wow I can without a doubt say it's one of my favorite new ongoing series to read right now. The characters are just so likable its not even funny especially the main trio Soushi, Akira, and Roku. I mean you're just rooting for them all the way, and that again is why I'm really fascinated about this series so far, and I'll just say this the mangaka, Takuma Yokota, is doing a great job with this series so far. I know this series is licensed by Viz Media and one of the staff members is really trying to give it the push which means we could possibly see the volumes coming out sometime next year that's for sure.
