I really don't see how Naruto being happy for receiving attention makes him a masochist. Naruto wanting to get scolded was his way to get people to acknowledge him. I think plenty of kids do the same thing.

 

If Naruto had some sort of pleasant face after Sakura punches him then I would concede he has masochist tendencies, but that's not the case. Not to mention that Naruto isn't openly looking for Sakura to hit him either.

I dont think Naruto wanted to be [PARANAUÊ] i mean he's a bit masochist not on the part that he enjoys physical harassment but the fact that he does the hard way, i mean he doesnt do anything to [PARANAUÊ]  Sakura because Sasuke is not on the village and has a promise to fullfill in fact the [PARANAUÊ]  should not be an obstacle for him to at least do nice stuff or try to woo her be doing the right stuff i mean he certainly [PARANAUÊ]  the way to win a woman's heart.

for me there is no such thing as being fair in this world, yeah maybe, but on my opinion i think we give much focus on the pairing because we are just trying to protect what we want to happen especially that there is also a NaruHina fandom, etc.
