I am trying to convert a .mkv file into .avi file while still having the subs in the .avi file. I want to be able to convert it into an .avi file so I can put the files on my flashdrive and play it on my 360 and watch it on my television instead of laptop. The specific file I'm trying to convert is - Full_Metal_Panic_Fumoffu_01_[Blu-ray_1440x1080][AAC_jpn-eng-fre-ger-ita-spa-por][Sub_fre-eng-ger-ita]

I've tried using VirtualDub but I get an error when trying to open up the file. Does anyone know a good .mkv -> .avi converter that I don't have to purchase? Torrents are fine as long as they come with a crack.

Try Any Video Converter. They have a free version that works pretty good and does the more common types. I used it to convert mkv and such for my psp.

omg, True. I tried doing that with Gundam Seed. While it is possible, it's a PAIN in the ass.

I think k-lite has a video conversion pack, so you can try that. If that doesn't work, let me know.

Thank you both for your help. I have found a solution and got a cracked verision of the program below.


I put in all of FMP: The Second Raid files into it last night and when I got up this morning they were all done and converted! They work perfectly fine as well.

BTW, If you want the cracked verision just send me a pm! And with that thread closed!
