So I'm watching Steins;Gate. Again. For the fifth time. After having first watched it about a month ago.

I've been listening to this for nearly 20 minutes and I still can't stop listening.

HELP. ME.

I've been listening to this album more and more and it's so damn good. Love it more the more I listen to it.

I just finished reading up to chapter 50 of the Attack on Titan manga. That last arc kicked major ass.

This is my favorite opening scene in anime. I love the atmosphere and emotion it builds, and the lead-in to the title.

I've only seen Fate/Zero so far, but man was that a great show! I'm really looking forward to its announced sequels.

IT HAS SEQUELS ANNOUNCED!?!?!? I have only seen the first episode of stay night so far, but if there is going to be more after stay night I'll watch the rest of it right now! Fate Zero is the most underrated anime ever.

Well the sequels I mentioned are both Fate/Stay Night "remakes". The new series coming up is going to be an adaptation of the Unlimited Blade Works route, whereas the old Fate/Stay Night anime adaptation was one of the Fate route. Here's the trailer for the upcoming UBW:

And the other sequel is going to be an adaptation of the Heaven's Feel route, and that's going to be a movie/series of movies.

I won't lie, one of the main reasons I'm looking forward to them so much is to see what happens with Kirei. After the setup he got in Fate/Zero, he's one of my favorite anime characters/villains, period. I can't wait to see what they do with him.

Who were your favorite characters in Fate/Zero?

Also, as a general blog post:

Casshern Sins is underrated.

Lancer, Saber, Kariya, and Kiritsugu. Can't put them in any order because of how epic this show makes every single character in it.

The cast of characters is definitely really strong...which partially sucks because so many of them are slated to die by the end.

Poor Kariya... He deserved far better.

My favorites are Kiritsugu and Kirei both, funnily enough.

The most epic scene in the anime

My mouth was dropped all day after that scene.

I felt SOOOO bad for him. Fate Zero is literally the Game of Thrones of anime. Everybody says that. :P

I don't know if I'd say that scene is epic, but it's definitely breathtaking and intensely emotional, and one of my favorites in the series. Coincidentally enough, most of my favorite scenes happen to be Kiritsugu scenes.  He got a lot of the best material, which makes sense considering he's more or less the central character.

It is exactly the Game of Thrones of anime! The dark/mature themes, the constant scheming and betrayal, the numerous central character deaths... upon rewatching especially the similarities in tone to Game of Thrones stood out.

Not to mention it being like a battle for who is the best king. Archer was the only man with sense in the entire series. Only one to make a move on Saber while still be near impossible to defeat. He wanted to marry her and have the world. Genius.

I loved Casshern Sins, and it definitely does seem to be underrated. I was actually pretty sad when it ended, cause I just wanted more!

That's...one way to look at it. I was surprised how much I liked Archer by the end. I hated him at first, but his personality slowly grew on me. Particularly once he started interacting more with Kirei.

Do it! :thumb: It's definitely worth it.

Yeah, same. I just started watching the sub version (I originally watched the dub weekly while it was airing on Toonami) and was reminded how much I missed it. I think my favorite aspect of it in general is the music. It's just...breathtaking.

Also, have you finished Steins;Gate yet by any chance?

Alright then, I'll have to add it to my To Watch list. Which admittedly, keeps getting longer.

I should probably watch Casshern Sins again sometime soon, it's been a while and I think I've probably forgotten some parts of it. I do remember liking the music though.

I did finish Steins;Gate, just today actually. Definitely something I'll like to watch again in the future, after I've crossed some others off my list.

To Watch lists do only seem to grow.  There's always another show...or two.

And nice! Out of curiosity, which version did you watch: the sub or dub? (for Steins;Gate)
