God, I'm only thirty minutes into it, but I am falling love with Taki and Mitsuha from Your Name.

 

 

I got my copy of the movie yesterday and man it's still beautiful.

Rereading this series honestly reminded me of Naruto in terms of pairings, that series is Eyesheild 21:

I'll just straight up say this,   both of these pairings resemble NH and SS in some ways upon rereading the series.  The major difference between Sena x Suzana (being NH of the series)  and Himura x Mamori (SS of the series)  and the two canon ships from Naruto is that the two ships you see above actually have legit chemistry with one another.  It's left ambiguous as to whether or not they're canon in the end, but i'd like to believe that they did. Not to mention the characters actually develop over the course of the series so they aren't left one dimensional like the other series we all know.  That and Himura as a character actually comes to respect and appreciate Mamori unlike Sasuke and sakura's relationship. Sena and Suzana major difference is that they actually talk with each other and have moments together.  The other thing is Eyesheild 21 isn't even about romance it's about Football, and it always stuck with it.  I would really recommend checking out the series if you guys are football fans or sports fan in general cause Eyesheild 21 is a great series.

Not gonna lie, I've been shipping these two since Season 1, but it wasn't as big then as it's been with this final season and ah I need them to get together by the very end because the development between them is just brilliant.

Sho Fukumachi x Mizuki Segawa:  This has been an old favorite of mine since childhood. It is yet another series where you see a similar love-triangle between a well-meaning and compassionate protagonist, his childhood tsundere love interest and the vengeful, machievellian lunatic that she's infatuated with.  Of course, unlike Sakura, you can't really Mizuki for falling for Agito at first because unlike Sasuke, he actually tried to create a positive public image of himself as a responsible, debonair and charismatic person and actually treated her with respect(at least, superficially). But once she bears witness to his pragmatic ruthlessness, amoral sociopathy and his ceaseless desire for power and vengeance, she gives up on her pursuit of him and only associates with him out of necessity. 

 

Meanwhile, you get to see her romantic feelings for Sho bloom gradually and organically throughout the series.   I especially like the 2005 anime version's greatly expounds on her burgeoning feelings for Sho while wrestling with the bizarre situation she's become an irrevocably a part of(I'm glad that the original author was on the storyboard throughout the anime's run, so he largely contributed to Mizuki's expanded character).

Gauche x Grey (Black Clover): I think that Yuki-san is making subtle advances at making these two into a couple in the future. It's gonna be a bit problematic given Gauche's siscon tendencies, but considering how he's openly acknowledged that he has other people to care for aside from Marie and the fact that he does seem to take a more considerate stance (for him) when it comes to Grey, it's possible.

Gauche X Grey is something I'm hoping for TOO!!!!!!!   they're the same age to top it off just like Asta and Noelle!     But yes I think the Narrative kind of supports it. But if nothing happens I'm fine as long as Asta X Noelle happens lol
