 The point is, they both had development, so whoever Ichigo ended up with was fine by me. Ichihime only had the slight advantage that Tite Kubo stated multiple time Rukia is not the "love interest" for Ichigo, that they are platonic life partners more or less. But since when has an author NOT changed their mind regarding those things, so if Ichiruki DID happen that would be great and I woulnd't be sour about it because it is not unfounded by any stretch of the imagination and the hints are there be it romantic or platonic. In Bleach's case of shipping Ichigo, you can't play up one and dismiss the other. I was only saying that that Ichigo and Rukia were given shipping moments in the filler that would seem rather out of place in the context of the manga considering where the fillers are placed in canon.

 

Moving on back on topic I liked the new chapter, it was a great group dynamic and heartwarming moment. I only have a problem with the fact that like other heartwarming moments in the manga it feels very slapped on and only taken for what it is kind of thing because the characters are not developed enough individually to give emotional impact but it is quick, concise and gets the point across enough because admittedly shonen manga/anime bonds are not complex or multi layered in all honesty so I don't expect to much depth to them so that is alright and falls in line with other series. Favourite part was Noelle "slipping" and Dragging Zora down to the group fuzzies and hugs. That was adorable

It was certainly a real treat to get these handful of moments from our cast of characters in this chapter especially with reunion between Asta and Fuegoleon along with Nozel. The real icing on the cake is Solid finally acknowledging Noelle to push forward in aiding The Captains with Asta and Mimosa to the Shadow Palace, and telling her he’ll get stronger than her because she’s a proud member of the Silva Family, and I can’t wait to see the next our heroes again in The Shadow Palace soon.  Until then guys that is pretty much all I’ve got to say for this chapter.

Hmm well what to say about the new chapter? Asta got some shipping with Mimosa (seems to be happening a lot recently) while none with Noelle. I'm not concerned, I just want to see some Asta X Noelle since there was none for the last 40+ chapters or so. That aside, the fights should be interesting. Noelle got an interesting One on One Pair up, and the so did the other fights. the only team up is Asta and Mimosa which I guess makes sense on paper since Asta is now a pure close range fighter and Mimosa is more of a support mage and has no defensive spells and one attack spell that can't really compete with high level opponents I suppose, so she can't fight  on her own here. Maybe this is Tabata's promise to showcase Noelle as a real heroine that grows along side Asta and is capable of  fighting on her own and be a lead of the series in her own way, instead of just being a " satellite love interest". Still, I want another moment like Chapter 103/episode 67 lol. Hopefully one pops up soon.

It's been a while that I judge her as a love interest satellite character, so this works out perfect for me. It is narrowing down everything she has to take in order to solidify herself as the best heroine in current Jump; as if she wasn't already. Truth be told, last chapter had me ready to say, "Looks like Noelle is going to take a backseat. That's cool." Then she joins. Now she's on her way to earn a ticket of taking a vacation of no screentime up to three arcs. That's how good she has earned.

We get to see some of Mereoleona Fuegoleon's past and that they think the world of each other (Damn nice sibling bond there). so Pretty heartwarming chapter overall. Still am a little peeved though that that Asta and Mimosa's team up had to start with her smacking Asta's head with her boobs (was that even necessary?) Anyway let's see what happens next
