The fact that the fight has hype for 400/500 chapters.
It's the most anticipating fight if you're a naruto fan.

The only thing about the Naruto vs Sasuke fight that was planned. Was the fight. But when and how and what would happen NO.

Also what's the second thing "firmly" planned? Because it's not the ending.

I think what  he actually planned was until the end of first part . When part 2 started I do not think he had any idea how it would end . The Naruto vs Sasuke in the end was more likely because of the very high number of fans expecting it rather than something he had really planned .

As for the final fight...I think it is half "it was underwhelming" and half "the stakes were too high."

The Naruto vs Sasuke fight was so hyped, and so pushed off for so long that by the time Kishimoto got around to it, it was all pointless, contrived, and underwhelming. It is mostly because this whole "Naruto couldn't do anything until he saved Sasuke" crap really put a damper on everything. The whole thing felt like Naruto was such a weakling too. Just as bad as Sakura now where they just can;t function without Sasuke being there and I am like "how pathetic you have got to be to let this one person really control your life that much?" What if Sasuke jsut dropped dead randomly while away? Would Naruto and Sakura commit suicide over it?

Seeing how Naruto puts Sasuke over his own wife, princess Hinata, I would not be surprised.

naruto, and sakura both put sasuke over eachother, and everyone else it seems, they would have gotten closer without him, narusaku might have actually happened if idiotmoto killed sasuke off, or something.

Sasuke and Hinata existence is what destroy this manga. They are too perfect and human dream to be like them or to be their soulmate. That is what happen if you create a character that is TOO PERFECT TO BE TRUE, because in reality there is no human like them.

i agree...the blame all goes to kishimoto, SJ, and SP. sasuke made the "perfect" anti-naruto, and hinata made the "perfect" anti-sakura, and in the end they both ruined the whole series because the "perfect" mangaka is a greedy IDIOT! lol.

So basically....Kishi is basically saying, through Naruto/Boruto, that you better be a complete scumbag like most politicians today or you should just die?

High lobbies' moguls, journalists, lawyers, publishers, politicians, opinion leaders, etc... They are professionals in this, and that's understandable...

 

But, to a greater or lesser extent, Kishi (SP? SJ editors?) seems to indicate that this is the fine way to behave for anyone who wants to be of value.

 

So sad, I know it.

It would be awesome if Rock lee's son, Metal Lee (Damn, Poor guy doesn't get a break, even when it's his son) comes in guns blazing and wipes the floor with Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki at the same time.

This the first time in my life to see the status of man characters being retconed. I have never seen this beside Naruto!

Sasuke and Hinata existence is what destroy this manga. They are too perfect and human dream to be like them or to be their soulmate. That is what happen if you create a character that is TOO PERFECT TO BE TRUE, because in reality there is no human like them.

It's not even that, because everybody outside the manga knows that they're definitely not perfect. It's that fact that Kishimoto and fans of Sasuke and Hinata treated their flaws as endearments instead of problems.

 

Kishimoto is just so high off Sasuke, he thinks the guy can do no wrong, which is why he sees no problem with having Sakura love him forever, for no real reason. Even when Sasuke  choked Sakura and was about to stab her with a kunai, somehow in Kishimoto's twisted mind, he thought any woman would be fine if the guy they "loved" tried to kill them, their best friend, their teacher, and their entire home. To normal people, these would be reasons to not only get over a shallow love, but to start to resent the guy who was trying to destroy things that were important to us. But, because Sasuke has the excuse of wanting justice for his clan and it's " not really" his fault for being the way he is, Kishimoto doesn't treat him like he's a bad person, just a misguided child that needs to find his way on the "right" path.

 

When it came to Hinata, those around him liked her and found her shy submissive Nature cute, even though her lack of confidence was an obvious hindrance on her ninja career, her ability to make friends( since only her teammates were her friends), it caused her father to remove her title of heiress, because she was too timid to really fight, with all she had. Kishimoto showed that her shyness caused her problems, but people like SP didn't care about her as a character, just that she was everything they wanted real women to by, a weak willed, soft spoken, big boobed girl.

 

These characters, with obvious flaws, are only made out to be perfect, by those who insist they can do no wrong, which unfortunately for people with a working brain, is the author himself and the anime studio.

If you are neutral fans yes BUT, if you NH fans than you see Hinata is the most purest,perfect girl ever born in anime, same story with SS. You said both are flawed ... i absolutely agreed both of them are total crap and failure to me, BUT in NH and SS fans eyes hinata and sasuke is the embodiment of beauty and perfection.

 

A little bit off topic , have you watch bleach? theres a fight between a guy name Yumichika vs Charlotte

 

That fight pretty much explain everything i said. If you understand what i mean. Charlotte is ugly as crap but he see himself as the most beautiful he try to force Yumichika to understand, admit, and accept it. Pretty much like how NH and SS fans force the ending down our throat.

Wow...based on the response on base.net...It really looks like this movie is destined to die...

 

 

Edit: I now know why Naruto is such a prk, and why he is in so much stress. The village coffers are running dry. From the beginning we were told that the ninja villages main source of income was ninjas and their ninjaty duty, and since Ninjas are pointless now...just ask Ten Ten she is literally going out of business... or the Ramen guy ( I called him that, he was not interesting enough for me to remember his name) who had to sell off his business to a Fast Food franchise. Oh and Sakura...being a medic...welllllllll not a lot of injuries when the whole thing is just a facade now is it...remember she isn't a doctor she is a medic, meant to treat the injured, not the sick.

 

While all of this is going on, a facade has to be put on, ninja recruits, training teachers, make headbands and uniforms...all of these things are costing the village money...and for what? There has not been any global conflict throughout the years.

 

I am willing to bet that Naruto is the last Hokage, because as soon as he leaves the office to whomever. The village won't have enough money to pay someone to carve that effing monument.

 

I believe Sasuke's real mission is to go to other places on the planet and ask for money, in return for buying of their goods, or selling of the village's business.

 

In the end we all know is coming, when the village runs out of money, and can't pay his debts, the villagers will hang Naruto by the nuts atop the highest tree, raze the Hyuuga mansion to the ground (The largest richest clan in the village) and instill a new political system based on their needs.

 

Either that, or go the way of the privateers and just do crime and stuff.
