Okay so the Naruto movie seems to suggest that Naruto is still alive and it's the future so it's not likely an inifinite tsukuyomi. That said, I still listed the options in case anyone thinks the movie will be an AU.

 

Personally I think Kishi is going to do the most obvious thing which is to make Naruto and Sasuke work together to create a better world. Honestly though I'd prefer they both die because that would be more interesting.

 

EDIT: Sasuke's character design from "The Last" has been released. It now seems highly unlikely that Sasuke dies in this fight.

i only chose naruto & sasuke both dying because it's what i would want. end the source that makes sasuke relevant.

Lol. But if Naruto dies, the entire manga is equivalent to dead. Even your Queen becomes irrelevant after that.

Given what the First wanted and how this story is going...I'm thinking they become co-Hokage's like the first wanted.

I used to cringe at that possibility, but I can't find it in me to care anymore.

I think they'll work together. A central theme of this story is working together to break the cycle of hatred, which has manifested itself in the desire to make changes. It would be counterintuitive for one of them to die, if you think about it like that. Plus, Kishi did say that he wants the story to have a positive and hopeful message.

In the event that Sasuke does die, I have a headcanon that that's the hand with which Naruto killed him, so he bandaged that hand, because he feels dirty about it.

Yeah I know .It might sound dumb but here's my prediction.They have special chakras.When they clash their powers will destroy something.Naruto and Sasuke will injure badly.Sasuke's eye(sharinnegan) and Naruto's arm especially.Why I said Sasuke's eye cuz I think he will cover his eye and Naruto's arm will be wrapped because of this.

Well I highly doubt the series will end with The Last. The way I see it theres 3 choices

A. Naruto becomes hokage in part 3 after the movie

B. Naruto becomes hokage in the movie

C. Naruto doesnt become hokage

A seems the most likely to happen. I just cant imagine the manga not having an ending or atleast a conclusion to the main characters dream throughout the maga so he can put it in a movie

I cjose That sasuke dies. because we have not seen an image of him for the final movie. so until we do I'm going to say that Sasuke will get the ax at some point
