#978460 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Kasimir38 on 23 April 2020 - 11:21 PM

^Naruto did love Sakura, only for the ones you love you go to self - sacrificing lengths. I also believe, but this is an unpopular opinion, that Sakura loved Naruto. It is actually a term that goes over selfish claims, such as relationships, marriage, love stands on its own. It could have shown that Narutos love for Sakura was strong enough to let go of his feelings and let Sasuke step in. It would be hard for him! He would not go over to Hinata in an instant and confess his love to her. That's just weak and pathetic and shows that his feelings were not sincere. He appears like a moron that was protecting, keeping an eye on, carrying, and loving a person just as a "competition towards his no.1 rival".

If Kishimoto was really pressed to make NaruHina and SasuSaku canon, without actually ruining his characters and their motivation, he should have started with that long ago. Or just not at all. That would have been the best. If you have three fanbases that would equally shred you apart if their ship is not sailing, just skip the shipping part, end your story before they are forced to marry due to very traditional, Japanese standards. But then we would have nothing to rant about.

If Sakura never truly showed any form of affection towards Naruto, why did he not move on during Shippuuden like a normal hero should, like a normal person would set up a romance plot. Hinata injured, Naruto visits her at the hospital, they spend time together, he eventually loses interest in Sakura. Did that happen? Did he even mention Hinata after she confessed her feelings?

I cannot hate or blame Hinata as a character, she was super shy and even brought up the courage to both confess her love and face an opponent way more powerful than herself. She was kicked into oblivion after that and only revived during the last arc to kill off Neji and trip over a rock. In Boruto she is basically a housewife with unrequited love towards Borutos dad. She would have deserved better, at least make her marry someone who truly loves her, not pair her up with the MC for fanservice.

As for Naruto, he would have deserved a more stable personality. Not only did he not stand his Ninja word, but he also lost everything that made him so special towards the end of the series. He let go off Sakura in an instant in the Last, he missed his Hokage ceremony!! Because of his kids. He is miserable and has, on top of that, a horrible haircut.

If people tell me I am mad at the creators for letting NaruSaku sink, it's not true. It only adds up on the already existing list. There are, like always, positive aspects too, but this is a rant so there's no place for that.

According to some people, not only did Naruto and Hinata had a romance going on in Shippuuden, -Temari and Shikamaru had no development and Sakura saw Naruto as a little brother (you see the sand siblings acting like that around each other all the time)!

Is there a thread called "Everyday Life with the fans from the other side" Because I've got plenty of stories to tell lmao, would be really funny.

#967270 Sakura was written to be Disliked

Posted by Kasimir38 on 28 July 2018 - 07:37 AM

Sometimes I think all that development in story and character progression was just a fortune and he didn't plan any of it. Sakura changing and starting to like Naruto was never his intention. Look, he made it very clear with Sakura's endless loyalty towards Sasuke. She didn't even change a bit.

What made her look full of flaws when she was little was her constant stalking of Sasuke, being a little brat and not really knowing him or understanding but that is "love" for you. She was mean to Naruto and their "annoying girl teammate". I think the only purpose she ever served in the story was being that girl that likes Sasuke, to begin with. It makes him appear cool and popular, but when Sasuke was going with Orochimaru, she suddenly was left without any motivation.

So she started to become friends with Naruto, since she needs to be more profound. and as Tsunade's apprentice, she became more strong. Story going on and voilá, she is not the girl that only likes Sasuke any more. She cares about her teammates, about Naruto,  and BAAM, whenever Sasuke appears, she transforms into her old self. Like: Oh, right, Sakura is Sasuke's fangirl, let's not forget that. Because otherwise, she would be a terrible woman. Development? What kind of development? I never planned to make her important, to begin with.

At the current state of the debate, I totally believe that Kishi planned SasuSaku to begin with. All that NaruSaku red herring was just something that happened without really planning it. Why else would Sakura always think about Sasuke, and never growing out of her fangirl phase?

I know this sound's very anti NaruSaku, but I am only trying to analyze Kishimoto's writing here.

Because even though I feel he didn't plan on changing Sakura's character and her relationship to Naruto but it kind of "happened", this happy little accident was his greatest achievement and was  brought down again by his prior intentions. If you write a story, you can decide for two way's to go: Plan out that story, from begin to end, picture the ending and make everythig move towards it - or don't plan the story at all, pick up and work with what you find, explore the characters during writing yourself.  Kishi decided to go for both ways - only that he already pictured an ending he conservatively held on. So...let's assume he really planned NaruHina to begin with, to understand why Hinata has only, like, 2 panels in part 2 would be: Meh, there is still plenty of time till the ending, and drawing Hinata is bothersome so....

In my eyes, Goku is like Luffy, he is a bit slow on the uptake

But I wouldn't call him a bad parent, maybe not a skilled one. He cares about his family. Sasuke does not care about his family, even though he always pretends he does. Naruto does not care about his family - even though I don't think it was the worst thing to do, but he sends a shadow clone to Himawari's Birthday, in Naruto universe, that was just ...  - "I am Hokage now but I still have that family business going on so let's send a shadow clone and they shut up."

#966260 Naruto: Alternative The Last (Doujinshi)

Posted by Kasimir38 on 25 June 2018 - 11:14 AM

Hinata (at least in my opinion) looks a lot like Hasshaku-sama.

Don't search that in google , it's from japanese horror urban story ... you have been warned .

I personally didn't see the fuss why shes so popular , she looks average , empty and boring to me.

It's just because she has these three golden card :

-She have immunity against Sasuke , while all the other girl fall in love with him.

-She is the only female in the entire manga that have feelings for a dropout good for nothing ugly Naruto.

-She is submissive and have nice body.

So in the eyes of Otakus she is the perfect waifus. It really amaze me how and why a side character that barely make an appearance got these 3 golden card. With these 3 golden card people no longer care about her background story , i mean shes a women after all , usually as long as women looks good , never object and have sexy body they can marry rich people , anything else no longer matter.

Tenten is also immune against Sasuke's undeniable charms. Despite her lack of talent and backbone, Hinata is much a Mary - Sue: Kind, pretty, without flaws. The only thing people point out about her is that she is shy, but since that's considered cute... Sakura on the other hand, with her brute strength and anger issues... Not so much a Mary - Sue. She isn't perfect looking (Short hair, no chest), totally after Sasuke. She is his main girl. Being shallow and superficial, I understand where the Sakura - Dislike and Hinata - Like comes from. Call me a liar, but to understand Sakura's character, you actually need a bit of profundity lmao. Or at least be willed to deal with psychology and character building. Sakura is the more interesting character, she deserves way more credit than she receives, and all her flaws make her achievements even greater.

Agree with aggressive NH fans. Every Naruto youtube video ever has them. I once commented something about NS and there were haters calling me stupid and liar and hypocrite. I never answered them though.

It's just like those SJW. Hinata is a nice girl and they think it's very appropriate to bash the brawn out of everyone who thinks 's differently. You can lose your mind by engaging into something that includes protecting something you like, something weak or bullied from a "threat" you just made up. Whenever an NH fan comments on something it just sound's like those rage posts feminists make.

The thing is - it is unjustified. The circumstances don't really call for these reactions.

NaruSaku video: *exists*

NaruHina fans: WT* IS THAT SH** TAKE IT OUT OF MY FEED UGLY HINATA IS THE TRUE GODESS

NaruSaku fanart: *exists*

NaruHina fans: EWWW NONONONONO NEVER

NaruSaku fans: *exist*

NaruHina fans: <They have NO right to exist! :cuss: :wallbash:

:chuckle:

It's not worth talking with people of that kind. Sadly, 90 % of the NH fanbase is like that lmao.

I used to like NH, but I started hating it because of them.

#965889 If the ending/series were to be redone...how?

Posted by Kasimir38 on 14 June 2018 - 05:51 PM

That makes Lee appear even greater than before because all his power comes from hard training. Why isn't he the main character? At least he has his own series...

How can anyone dislike Sakura?

There are so many, SO many dislikeable characters in fiction, annoying, clingy, immature girls that act as the Love interest and make me reconsider following a certain series. But Sakura was always different: She is strong, independent and mature. She has flaws and doesn't try to compensate them. She is actually acting like a real human being instead of a doll or Moe - duck brawn, also she is not one of these typical Tsundere - stereotypes of a girl that thinks highly of herself but is actually a frail little thing. I always looked up to Sakura, so I don't understand? Why do people hate her so much?

Please, don't tell me it's because she beats up Naruto.

#965737 The Great Naruto Discussion Thread

Posted by Kasimir38 on 08 June 2018 - 10:09 AM

There's a reason rogues are called rogues. It can be discussed whether a person committing evil is truly evil, but we have labels in order to maintain a certain orientation, that's why Naruto feels so fishy, his constant lie about Sasuke being his friend that needs to be saved destabilized the whole story.

Heroes I admire are the ones that take their own friends to jail if they committed a crime. Not because they have no feelings - but because they fight for justice, not vigilantism. That means they can look past their feelings in order to help other people. Naruto, however, could not do that. He always talks about justice and friendship, but in the end, what he did was just selfish.

Well, the art style is pretty good... But I bet Sakura would've had more kindness in her eyes. I just don't see Naruto and Hinata as a couple, no matter how much fanart tries to force random couple pictures of casual marriage moments...

#965594 Masashi Kishimoto Interview with The French Distributor, Kana

Posted by Kasimir38 on 02 June 2018 - 09:26 AM

"A little blond guy with a jumpsuit" had me ..., I just need a moment ...

I somehow feel so sorry for ranting over Kishi. I don't think he deserves the hate he receives, I think the real culprit's are the crazy fans and the editors. He just made up a story about two Ninja boys and look where it went...

#965562 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Kasimir38 on 01 June 2018 - 02:45 PM

SasuSaku fangirls and boys actually have much fanart with Sasuke trying to kill Sakura in one panel, and in the second giving her that Itachi - thing, calling it "development". I even saw a sketch of Sasuke remembering all the horrendous things he did to Sakura, romanticized, and showing regret and being all emotional and people praising it and calling it "so romantic" or something like that...

I also see much fanart of NaruHina, and let me tell you this: Both NaruHina and SasuSaku fanart could not be farther from reality, lol.

#965558 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Wow you are right. Thinking about it in that light, it makes sense. I think the reason I thought Zuko deserved better was because I watched the series when I was 12 and I didn't analyze everything that way.

That is just what they messed up in Naruto. Obito being forgiven and, as I recall, being called "the coolest guy"  :lmao:  and Orochimaru and Sasuke welcomed back in the village without any real consequence after hurting and killing people.
