Weird Picture Description --Click here to view--
Did anybody notice something strange about the set of pictures used for the black and white montage after the part the Naruto stuck the metal bar into his hand? They were all things we had seen before, starting from Jiraiya getting killed all the way to the present of Pein lecturing Naruto about peace. All except for the last picture, which is something we had never seen before.

From what I see in the picture, I see an Anbu holding a dead girl. But I don't believe that they would include a random picture like this in a scene that is showing huge events that have happened already, I feel like this is a huge event foreshadowing the future. The more I examine the picture, the more I believe that the two people are Naruto and Sakura, not that I like it at all. In terms of the girl, everything from the clothes to the hair length matches her, but the guy is more difficult to prove. The only thing I can think of is the wrapping on his right thigh, which is a wrapping that Naruto also wears. Also the fact that the Anbu has a big scroll he is carrying on his back.

Of course, I don't want to believe this is what is going to happen, just the simple flow of how the pictures went from past to present, to possibly future worked out very well, and also everything I mentioned above. I really just want to hear what everyone thinks of this, because I don't believe its just random.

I admit that the girl in the picture looks awfully like Sakura but it doesn't explains anything about a future event. This wasn't shown in the manga which means its just a filler so we shouldn't pay any attention to it. Kishi is not planning in killing his heroine which he has said in the past he's fond of and he would never say any spoilers to the animators either. I think it will be best to ignore the picture this could be biased information to make people think that Sakura might die in the future. This will only fuel that N/H fans more thinking that she will die and thus Naruto will end with Hinata. rolleyes.gif

Hm... that's interesting. Where did you find that picture? Also, the girl's clothing looks more like Ino's than Sakura's... but honestly, I don't think it's gonna foreshadow anything. Since I don't remember seeing that picture in the manga, and the anime, somewhat, runs independently from the manga. Somewhat. So I think it doesn't really mean anything.

It's just an image to go along with Pain's speech about the horrors of war. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill.

Yeah, I saw it too.

Sure, it does vaguely look like Sakura, and the leg thing could be a reference to Naruto. But the anime is whack. Completely, yo.

I don't think it means anything. I'm starting to think the only thing the anime and manga have in common is the name.

I'm not making it important just thought it looked like Ino. I never watch the anime so I don't know what changes they made to her appearance so I just assumed she had short hair now cause the clothes look like hers.

Yeah since it's not in the manga, it probably won't play a factor in the story but I still think it's a good find.

I agree. It's just a generic image, the girl isn't dressed like Sakura or have her body type. The guy isn't dressed anything like Naruto. Besides the short hair it looks much more like Ino, her clothes and body type...

Generic image? Why, it's clearly Kakashi and Rin, isn't it? a_shifty.gif

It's the anime, which can forshadow no canon storylines that are not already part of the Naruto manga. I wouldn't worry about it, even if it was Naruto and Sakura.

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

This pretty much says it all. Query resolved. Closing thread as we'll just have people repeating what's already been said.
