Iron Maiden.

For a band that's been around for over three decades, Maiden's never let themselves get stale. Their latest album is definitely among their best of their thirty year career. S***, they still run circles around modern metal bands.

The same goes for Judas Priest, as well.

The Beatles (especially the later albums 1967-70, but the early songs are great too- when those first chords of "She Loves You", "Hard Days Night" "I Want to Hold Your Hand" "I Feel Fine" or "Help!" comes out of my car radio, that volume goes up to max! And all those songs were first released before I was even born. smile.gif

Breaking Benjamin
Three Days Grace
Godsmack
Disturbed
Metallica
Slayer
Rage Against The Machine
Alice In Chains
Bullet For My Valentine
Ron Wasserman (He's responsible for making most of the music for Power Rangers and a damn good artist)

Another favorite band of mine from the metal scene is Megadeth; Dave Mustaine's kind of an ass but man he knows his way around a guitar.

If we step outside the metal genre, you can add Rush to the list of bands I adore.

You know what, screw it. List time. The following bands are totally awesome.

Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Rush
Megadeth
Mastodon
Lamb of God
Austrian Death Machine
Ugly Kid Joe
Circle Jerks
Metallica (early stuff; they sucked after the Black Album and while Death Magnetic is a step up, they're not great again yet)
AC/DC (up to a couple albums after Back in Black; it feels like they've started really winding down as a band)
Alice Cooper
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Slayer
White Zombie
The Ramones
Alice in Chains

That's all I can remember for now.

Linkin Park (though not lately?!?! D:)

I can agree with the "not lately" bit. I really liked their debut album but since then the quality dove off a cliff. To me anyways.

Hmmm let's see...Recently I've only been listening to two genres, the first would be metal and those bands would be; Death, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Napalm Death, Nile, Decapitated, Cannibal Corpse, Carnifex, Black Dahlia Murder.

A lot of those are more Death Metal than standard metal.

I know I just didn't feel like specifying. In hindsight I should have just put extreme metal since Misery Index is a little more Grindcore nowadays.

The game really does capture the magic of their songs, doesn't it. I don't have a game console (not really my thing) but I'm getting one just so I can see the videos for each song on my TV with decent speakers. The only other game that tempted me to get a game console before was Final Fantasy X-2 (a game that was actually focused around three women and has a romance in it too- with the possibility of a happy ending) The Beatles game though has made me sure I'm getting one, and I'm going for a Playstation so I can get Final Fantasy X-2 as well, and probably the Naruto Shippuden games too, heh.

@ ciardha

The game is awesome. But, as I said before, it needs more DLC. I really hope that they release more songs, but being the last DLC was released January this year... it's unlikely. sad.gif

I'm pretty sure what he meant was the complete lack of punctuation in your post. Adding a couple of commas to your list would make it easier to read, and capital letters are pretty nice to.

As for me, I'm constantly changing my favorite bands. I'll list some I would say are pretty much constant though.

Aerosmith
Kansas
Blue Oyster Club
Foreigner
Lifehouse
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Motörhead
Rush
Yoga Fire
ZZ Top
Kaizers Orchestra
TNT
Steppenwolf
Sweet

I'm sure there are more, but I tend to find some songs I like more from every band.
