I don't think anyone really likes Bolt to be honest (i don't think even kishimoto does) (if he liked him he would be the one with salad instead of chou the useless filler character) most fan art even before the gaiden came out was about salad. If they draw bolt it more because of other characters (he normally with Naruto,nH, Salad, or the big nH/SS dream family) than for him alone. He's Naruto son, so he is going to be drawn in fan art but that about it.

I think chou chou was suppose to be trying to replicate the success of Killer bee (he did say at one point his favorite character were choji and killer bee) and the other cloud ninjas. She suppose to be funny but instead she just falls flat.

Hell Pan is better that Bolt at least she is sweet and so cute and does not kitten and moan like Bolt does.

The worst thing i can say about pan was that in gt she was kind of bratty but then again she was a teenager. But like you said when it came down to it she was sweet and had kind heart. Bolt's entire character is that he hates his kitten old man for not spending time with him and comes off a incredibly brat and hold grudges. Hell the one thing you can consider  him doing a kind act is delivering his mom bento to his father. And at the end when his father left be fore he could give it to him he had to be shamed by salad to give it to her to deliver. Not join her in delivering it to his father but to hand it over implying to me he would have just thrown it in the trash or something if Salad did shame him.

True but GT thank god in none canon, and not to mention that Pan was at least bad ass at the end of the Manga, and what you said on Bolt was true god Kishi thought that this was a good idea no thank you please just end it and never do manga again Kishi.

Well the frying pan is a bit more challenging to eat, while the salad is easier to masticate and digest. So the salad would be more delicious.

If there's only three more chapters then there's NO way Sarada's mother drama is going to be resolved in that short amount of time. Unless it carries on to the movie. Karin is definitely Sarada's mother until proven otherwise.

Well, she still dresses like Sakura in the movie, so I assume she will accept Sakura as her mother at the end of Gaiden. Even if there won't be a reveal that Suigetsu got the test wrong

Oh of course. I don't even understand why people would think she wouldn't accept Sakura. Even if Sakura was my mom and I knew her pink butt was lying to me I still love her regardless because she raised me. And Sarada was ONLY raised by Sakura, not Sasuke or Karin.

So, I skimmed through some of the comments pertaining to the last chapter of Gaiden... if I get it right, the spoiler is indeed true? That according to some magic DNA detector device, Karin is Salad's mother?

 

Nice try Kishi. Guess what? We know that Sakura is Salad's mother, at the very least, SS happy ending will be the conclusion of all this unnecessary drama... Those who left the fandom doesn't care, really... They're just here to laugh at your Gaiden...

 

I can't help but feel disgusted with all the characters. No sympathy to any of the characters at all.

 

We have an adult who lied to his best friend's child --he's supposed to be a hokage above all.

 

We have a father who never present in his only daughter's life. A husband who seems to be so distant with his wife, barely converse with her, even after 12+ years of not seeing each other... and he's also showing only a little remorse when the wife is abducted.

 

An abusive mother who is so distant with her only daughter, such that the daughter don't want to have anything to do with her mother. The mother has no place at all to talk about parenting. Whatever she said feels very empty...

 

Don't talk about love amongst them, I don't think even a decent bond exists between them. Pretty ironic for a series who promoted about bonds for the past 15 years...

 

If these characters are teenagers, I could probably understand and sympathize with them. For God's sake, they are fully matured adults after chapter 700. Aren't they supposed to learn from their journey (you know, the one we've been following over the past 15 years?). What was the lesson learned after the journey again? Oh yeah, that's right... NONE....

 

Are we supposed to feel sympathy for Salad? The same way as what we used to feel for Naruto, Sasuke or Sakura (given their tragic backstory, a never-give-up teenager trying to protect everyone, a medic-nin wanted to protect her teammates)? Well, if we're supposed to feel sympathy for the new generation, I think they've done a miserable job at it. Those sympathy comes with a structured story-telling... one that lasted for hundreds over chapters... What do you expect to get with 10 chapters?

 

I'm not sure which audience they are targeting this time with the new series. If it's pro-ending audience, aren't they supposed to entertain NH and SS even more? So far, Bolt, Hinata or Hima-who are barely touched.. and we can safely conclude that SS marriage is a train wreck...

 

It really shows how poorly planned this writing is. Either there's never any plan to begin with, or the original one are hastily updated to bring back lost readers...
