[Hiraishin]

The thing is, that's kind of what we are now. I know some people think he changed his mind at the last minute, but the movie has been in development too long for that to be true.

Both Zutara and Narusaku had parallels that ended up being only seen by the shippers
Both Zutara and Narusaku are friendship stories that had chemistry
Both were teased (Anime filler for NS, season 3 trailer/magazines for Zutara)
Both needed two other ships to die for it to happen (Maiko=Sasusaku, Kataang=Naruhina)
Both had the ending spoiled before the official release by outside sources, and both had fans ignore/explain away the spoilers before confirmation
Both had long shipper manifestos that ended up being overthinking/over analyzing
Both had a resolution that had no explanation/just happened (Katara was confused/Needed time after the forced kiss until the finale skipped any resolution on this, instead she just kisses Aang out of the blue/Naruhina children)
Both had characters that loved the other character from the start and never wavered (Mai=Sakura, Aang=Hinata)
Both had one ship explained in another source (Maiko=the comic after season 2/Naruhina=the movie)
Both were alike (Naruto/Sakura wanted acknowledgment, Zuko/Katara had mothers taken by the fire nation and it shaped their future)
Both had friendship events/stories seen as romantic (Southern Raiders/Season 2 finale/CPR/Healing scene)
Both made more sense to the shippers, despite not being canon in the end (We're kind of like Harmony now, too lol Harry ended up with a side character, his friends got together)

Anyway, I wanted to bring some positivity back. Narusaku is still alive, despite not being canon. We can still love it and keep it a float without canon.

Most of those are really vague 'similarities' that can apply to any ship that didn't become canon in the end.

Zutara was hardly a friendship. Definitely not like NS and Kataang were.

Idk what kind of "parallels" Zutara had but the ones we had for NS were actually confirmed in the story. All of them. Team 7 = Team Minato & the Sannin, and Minato = Naruto and Kushina = Sakura. But, seriously, most of those can be applied to any ship even if they made more sense in the end. Like with NS vs. SS/NH.

And no, the rest of the fandom doesn't see NS like we see Zutara. Cause see, most people who don't ship the Big 3 or don't ship anything at all agree that SS/NH came out of nowhere and NS makes more sense. Like unburnt said, the only thing they really have in common is that neither of them are canon. That's it.

I'm really sick of hearing people say that NH was always going to be the end pairing because "Kishimoto knew how he would end it years ago". Seriously taking it out of context. He was referring to Naruto/Sasuke battle.

Just thinking about how NS interaction will be in the movie makes me really sad. I don't even want to bother with this movie, even if there are some NS because it will look wrong after not seeing anything in the ending of the manga...I mean my god, they look like strangers for god's sake.

Looking at that it seems like every love will be adressed, meaning that NS will also be resolved. That will be our last NS moment with romantic undertone coming from Naruto, so we should treasuer it, no? LOL And maybe we'll also get some Chôji/Karui in the movie. 

I have a bad feeling it's referring to all the canon couples in the epilogue instead, which includes the dreaded SasuSaku.

SO i just heard the song for The Last and honestly I didn't really like that much. This was actually one of the few things that I possibly could've liked when it comes to The Last, since it doesn't have to do much with the story. 

 

Personally I still think the song from Road to Ninja was much better than this one.

I don't know what to believe anymore... I want to think that Kishimoto is the good writer he's been 600+ chapters ago and always planned for NaruSaku to happen...but this latest random BS points to the opposite.

Well do as I do, don't watch the movie, he'll get you down even more. Forget you ever read that 699-700 bull. I mean you know the movie will be between, meaning it serve just to justify this bull. Wrote your own ending from 698 or read a good one   and consider it canon. Stay as far as Naruto related project  as possible afterward. One piece, fairy tails and hunter X hunter exist for those reasons.

 

I did that with death note. It ended with L and Light rule the world. Spider-man 3 and X3 never happen. And even deeper you might see a glimpse of the drug trip that was ghost rider 2.

So they're actually gonna throw us a bone for NaruSaku in The Last? I'm not gonna hold my breath, but I believe the scene will either be heartbreaking or have little ramifications, but I do know it'll help NaruHina get ahead which is something I'm not looking forward too.

yeah, kishi can shove his movie up his ass. No one cares about a Ns resolution with a a ruined part 1 fangirl sakura. I cant wait for the SS moments in this movie, its going to be comedy gold.
This asspull movie is really the biggest insult to naruto fans, to see that Kishi needs a movie to make NH even a little believeable if thats even possible.

Now, I see, that all this time you were right. Kishi is a bad writer- at least when it comes to romance. Sorry, for all the times I had attacked you, I wish I could have listened to you earlier. I guess I just really believed in NaruSaku so much that I could never have forseen the biggest couple asspulls in the history of manga. Even neutral fans believe that at least the SasuSaku couple is totally kittened up. I refuse to accept this movie as cannon.

I think Kishi has probably lost all his NS fanbase,SK fanbase and also a part of the NaruSasu fanbase to at this point.Good riddance

Well yeah, after 693 and the following early movie teasers, it was pretty clear for me that kishi was about to screw the story so
Of course i had to rage on him. But at the time there was at least this little spark of hope that i was wrong. Well in the end even though i expecte it i still got hit full force by it. Also i never expected it to be that bad.... Never i imagined SS had even the slightest chance.

I think SS would have made sense if Part 2 wasn't there. At least it had potential in Part 1, unlike NH which was friendzoned until the very last chapter that need a movie to make it credible. SS on the other hand has chapter 699 which imply that Sasuke was finally touched by Sakura's feelings.

Honestly if Kishi had just tuned down the murderous intent from Sasuke towards Sakura then I think people would be a bit more acceptable of SS endgame.

 

I mean Kishi says hes not good at romance but you don't have to know anything about romance to know that murder isn't a way to show affection.

The NH was always in his mind theory is BS
that isn't the way how you present a pairing you always had in mind to your readers.
1st we have the SO6P random Brother with no backstory, Kaguga sudden apearance to give the Hyuga importance, but why? Because he wanted to make a movie that could be use as an excuse to get two characters who as no more than 10 interactions a thousand so in a way he could try to justify why he went with the popular pairing instead of what he develop, through the whole manga and lets not talk about 693 and Sasuke sudden forehead thing, that was straight out of left field.
NH was in his mind, thats BS and we all know it.

R&R Please. I'm trying to get a belivable ending where I adress plothole too. I've made it to help me get over the ending but for all of you as well, because it must be something along those line that we expected. (I go a little OOC in chapter 2 though, but I needed to see a strong Sakura)
