I haven't been following this thread much (I know! i know!) What's this about Hinata not being in the new manga?

We don't know but were a making theories that most likely hinata would not be heavily featured in the bolt manga due to the negative reaction she has gotten over the last year and the fact she doesn't have much going for her story-wise. Of course we could be wrong and the entire manga could really be about how great a mother hinata is.

They clearly publicly said that Hinata is the true main heroine. If what you said true .... then they are even lower than animal. How dare they after everything they've done, girl cannot moved on from their first love, kitten, they CLEARLY said in The Last is where NARUTO AND SAKURA PARTING WAYS, if they dare to make even slight/small NS moment or interaction in Boruto manga, i swear i'm gonna use voodoo magic to curse all of them.

 

I know they are just fictional character, but i still feel bad for Hinata, they said Hinata is an elite ninja, after putting her in spotlight and turn out shes not making much money ... it's like they discarded or throw and hide her away and turn to SNS for money.

I'm going to say Naruto. Because his look is so central to the manga. The rest you can kind of ignore. But when Naruto looks bad it doesn't matter how accurate anyone else looks, the rest of the comic looks bad.

And Naruto's design since The Last already looked really fugly as it is and yet they somehow managed to make it look even worse, as if it's a physical representation of the series somehow getting even worse than it already is.

only way this manga will interest me at least 1% if they include Shinachiku (NS) And his sister from an alternate universe some where in the manga. Shina Vs Bolt.

it's like they're just doing all this for popularity, and money. they ruined naruto, sakura,and other characters' so they can make hinata be their money maker, and get in the spotlight, now they brush her off ruin her character, and focus on SNS just cause sasuke's more popular. what next? they've ruined EVERYONE in the series.

 

 

they can't make up their hollowed out shallow minds' lol.SP just needs to stop animating the series, and SJ needs to focus on other manga. but it is ironic that NOW hinata/NH fans, and SS fans are getting the same treatment sakura/NS fans got now.kishi chose the WRONG studio to work on naruto. these brats' don't care about the characters' AT ALL!

So my secret theory is this: Even though the Naruto Sakura tension is supposedly over because both have been shipped off, that we are actually going to still see some subtle NS, hidden or implied or just by outright association. Either Sakura is going to continually be around Naruto in the series (through convenient plot devices) or there will be some suspenseful issue that will require her to come into the scenario.

 

I don't think we've seen the end of Sakura...although we might have seen the end of Hinata.

 

Hinata's fans only wanted to see her married. That's it. They didn't care about anything else. Not Naruto, not Hinata's development. Nothing. So why would they continue to build her up in the plot? Her fans got what they wanted, so it's no longer a draw.

 

But Sakura's fans and NS-ers were unfulfilled. And any Sakura/NS fan is going to tune in to see Naruto and Sakura together, even if it's just surface-level platonic. (That Sarada one-shot had crazy NS overtones!) So I think they are going to continue to insert Sakura into the story — even though she was supposedly the 'most hated' — because they know that tension was what drove readers to the story. Not the boring happy ending. 

 

And I'm betting that they don't expand Sakura's family with another sibling or give her anything close to requited love with Sasuke. Ever. Because if they do, it will take away from any implied NS or hero-worship of Naruto.

 

So my 'secret' theory is that even though on the surface Sakura was supposedly hated by fans and given the worst ending in the manga, that they still really need her for the plot. And they know it. That stories involving her and Team 7, even if it's just in the background, will still have more appeal than inserting Hinata. Which is why we're not seeing so much NH family time or sappy NH romance (thank god). I'm betting if things get slow, sales slump, the first thing they'll turn to is a return of Team 7, and most importantly Sakura, to the picture. Not NH.

 

I don't know, I could be wrong.... I've been really wrong about a lot of things in this franchise so far!! haha! But I'm betting we haven't seen the last of Sakura.

Well, I've seen fanartists doing a bettteeer job than this mangaka...seriously, even in this add, the art is just...terrible ! The lines aren't even straight enough (especially Boruto's face)... well thank God, I'm not gonna read that !

IKR, I've seen fanmade doujinshi on deviantart that  do a better job of looking like kishi's art than this guy's attempt xD epic fail.

I'm not an anime expert, but can someone enlighten me what other popular titles which get its continuation drawn by other artists?

The whole drama now looks like someone had to pay for the bad decision going for NH/SS route.

...and I've yet to see Kishi produced other series.

They do it for money because this is commercial manga and not indie manga.
Commercial manga need to make money by becoming popular or else they will get axed.
S what they did is fair, but the most popular manga usually has great content such as onepiece and AoT.

Oh yeah that's right the one shot will be interesting in terms of concept, and I guess I can do a little live reaction to Naruto again since it's been a while now since it's on Mitsuki...   Which I know I said I'd be done once I get my review for Boruto The Movie up, but I'm kinda waiting on my friend the one I did the review when it came to The Last and our schedules have been conflicting with each other which is kinda a pain.. but who knows I might just do it by myself just to get it over with either tomorrow or Friday, and if he wants to do a review I'll probably do those Livestream discussions like I did with Naruto Gaiden.

 

Back on topic:   As a former Naruto fan I will pay my respects and do a live reaction to the first chapter of this new series and see how it is like I did with Gaiden,  though unlike Gaiden which had a meh+ to okay story but great art, I don't know if I can see myself reading it the same way I did with Gaiden... unless it has a good story with horrible art "and that's stretching it" .

Yes. Remember executives were expecting nH/SS to make them the big buckets. The editors, the staff members and SP were all promising this, since they kept insisting that "Hinata as the heroine is what the fans want." Instead the backlash has almost destroyed the entire international money making series know as Naruto. You don't think someone went to the chopping block for that?

 

He was a new mangaka when he started Naruto 15 years ago and had to work on it (more of less) every week of his life. He done a few other one shots that's it. He plans on making a scific one soon.
