I can't seem to see/find if there is already a thread for this, so I guess I'm starting it?

Anyways, since there's already a thread for people to spaz out over for the new anime coming out, I wonder how many of us is still reading the manga? Who's even still interested in it? Because I've been keeping up with it and I've just read this month's chapter and all I can say is a_spaz.gif wow.gif wow.png It's that awesome, full of my favorite characters' returns and action! Er... or BOOM BOOM KABOOM!! ??

I've said it before, I truly believe in it and I'll say it again the Fullmetal Alchemist manga is the best manga currently in print.

So everyone has finally begun converging on Central. Now that Envy is also on the way (with Mei), and Mustang taking up with the others, the manga has reached its final phase. But what I'm more interested in is the eclipse. Astronomical events like those have been deemed quite important in early alchemical experiments (real life), so I believe Father will make his move this very day.



I'd have called Full Metal Alchemist as the number one manga, but the update rate makes me relegate it to two after One Piece. The sheer number of pages in each issue and overall quality, however does make up for it.

That was absolutely awesome! Mustang certainly got to his position on his own merits, that's for sure. And I love the fact that so many old characters are still around, and others are coming back, in varying ways.

And yay, Ross is back! And Havok's turned into Ammo Man! Cool! Sweet beard, too. biggrin.gif

I just got through last night on catching up on the new chapters I have missed (almost a years worth) and I am very excited to see what happens. Poor Al locked in the dark with that creepy kid.

Ah... man... I can't believe Al didn't realize that Selim was using Morse code! And there wasn't as much action this chapter... sigh... though the "soldiers" were a big fat failure that backfired on them in epic proportions.

Selim is smarter than Al thought, Kimbley is badass squared, and Hoenheim is good at pretending to be a perverted old man. I just wish we had gotten to see what Greelin was up to. Next chapter should be fantastic. biggrin.gif

This month's chapter is full of intense fighting! The Armstrongs face off against Gluttony and Al faces off against both Kimblee and Selim. After the last page, I'm anxious to see if Kimblee will really be down for the count and have the tables turned.

And go Al! Way better than the anime version. Very resourceful with that stone. Heh, wonder if Kimblee is really out this time. He's one of those bad guys that just keeps coming back. sleep.gif

I know I'm beating a dead horse by saying this (cuz I've said it so many times) but this month's Chapter is a prime example of why the manga pwns the original anime. I can't wait to see this Chapter animated!

I have a hunch that Riza will be the one to stop Roy so, most likely we'll see a RoyxRiza moment next chapter

Whoo, that's an intense situation. I'm glad Hawkeye and Ed stopped Roy. That was NOT the way a man in his position should fight. Way too brutal.

It does show how much stronger than Ed he is, though. Envy kicked Ed's ass all over the place when they fought, but Roy just curb stombed him into pudding.

This chapter was also a prime example of why revenge is never the right choice. When your girlfriend is pointing a gun at you, you've seriously screwed up.

I've seen the anime before, but I haven't started reading FMA. Dx

I'm on Ch. 2 currently, although, it seems like a really good series.
