I still don't get the point. Everyone knows I'm the bigger fanboy, so why even fight over it. And I support AstridxHiccup and AshxMisty harder than you. I supported WallyxKuki back when I was a kid and I watched Kids Next Door like every day. So I guess my childhood ships WallyxKuki harder than you.

While working my ass off on "the big project" I noticed somethings.

 

#1 During Shippuden episode 54 when Sai called Ino gorgeous/beautiful (ugly) she seems genuenly suprised. And then I noticed that that was probably the first time in her life anybody told her that (besides her family probably), and it`s kinda sad if you think about it. She puts a lot of work into her apearance and it took Sai for her to get a "compliment".

 

#2 When Ino and Sakura were both little they had short hair. But because of Sasuke they grew it out. But during the chuunin exams they both cut it short again. Now here`s the funny part. Between the two Ino was the only one that grew it out again. Which leads me to conclude that Ino actually likes her hair that way while Sakura was doing it for Sasuke. Doesn`t make me love Sakura any less but it`s an interesting thing to notice.

Hmm. I can't say too much about Ino. But I admire her loyalty to her friends. She was like Sakura too in Part I so I can appreciate her situation. She is a bit superficial but is very sweet at the same time. Warms up to Shikamaru and Choji the Way Sakura warms up to Naruto is a bonus too. I like that she knows medical Ninjutsu so she is a bit more versatile than her father. But I would have liked to see what canonically drove her to study Medical techniques too because the Anime version is filler. those are my thoughts.

Have you ever noticed how the K11 girls have a girly scale?

 

Tenten < Sakura < Hinata < Ino

 

Ino basicly represents the girly kunouchi. She realises she` s a ninja but she dosen`t have to become a boy to do it. She also has this natural beauty that she can fully use without the help of a 1000 cosmetic products. And ultimately she isn`t superficial in the traditional sense. Superficial people tend to judge others based on their apearance. She is only hard on herself. She strives to be more than what is smarter, stronger prettier and I have not once seen her judge a person based on their apearance. And thats what I really like about her. She shows you can be hot without being a jerk to everyone around you.

Yeah it's not a bad thing. And yeah She shows that girls can care about appearances and not be mean and condescending about it. Although you're defending her femininity, not her superficiality. I never said it was bad to be girly. I do like that about her too. I was talking about that time she was stereotyping about how all guys and girls prefer each other skinny to Choji. She wasn't being mean about it, but made it sound like an absolute, which it isn't. That was only in Part I by the way. Maybe I stated my mind wrong. Oh and the fact that that she pursued Sasuke based on appearances like many other girls, which is a bit superficial. But she seems to have grown out of it  too, like Sakura so that's what I meant. But anyways make no mistake, I like Ino's character. Those were just my personal thoughts on her nothing more. If I did not like her character I would say so albeit without bashing.

I do worry about Ino. I must admit. Even thought she is my 3rd or 4th favorite female in Naruto, I still worry that she won't get over Sasuke. She called her love for him "good", and that scared me. I understand that the pretty girl wants to go for the cool guy, but that should mean if Sakura can get over Sasuke, so can Ino. Then again, Ino doesn't have a guy named Naruto asking her out to dinner every now and again, so she doesn't really have someone/something to help her bounce away from Sasuke.

I don`t know I think/hope her fathers death kinda gave her a reality check about Sasuke. On the other hand her souldmate is taken (I mean Naruto . Read way to much fanfiction)

Maybe Sai but I don`t think he would be able to fully apretiate her mentaly and physicly. There`s always Shikamaru. Or Choji.

But Sakura is Naruto's only one! Sai, Shikamaru, and Choji are ALL valid I say.  the Ino rant was funny but it wasn't hilarious. Though probably because she does not get much panel time. Which is unfortunate.
