All the filler was stuff that already happened in the manga with the exception of minor filler bits that only serve to add a bit more time to fill in the episode.
Plus they don't attempt to retcon the original manga by changing events to suit a certain fandoms tastes or add in events that didn't happen to begin with like they did with Hinata's confession or the flashback filler arc between the Pain Arc and the Kage Arc.
The Omake was funny, but could someone tell me what kind of magazine Sakura was reading?
One things for sure is that I'm looking forward to next week.
I still say it's too early to judge if they screw up with Sakura or not but things are looking good for us so we still might get a faithful representation of the manga.

I think the writer of this episode is actually rather good at capturing the spirit of Kishimoto-sensei's manga, and they seem to have a great respect for the characters involved. I wish more episodes were like this one, to be quite honest.
As for the Karin flashback, that entire thing is full of plot holes. Like: How could Sasuke use Shishi Rendan in the Forest of Death, when he didn't even create it until he fought Yoroi? How could Karin be a Grass Ninja, when the Databook entry regarding her outright states that she's from a normal village that was destroyed?

maybe he was testing it out before the finished product lol
She is a spy for Orochimaru.. You might as well ask How can Orochimaru be a Grass Ninja when he is Orochimaru? Cuz it is a disguise.

That one can be answered by the databook as well- Karin was very young when her village was destroyed and Orochimaru found her in the ruins (she survived because she hid- sensing the murderous chakra heading toward the village.) She'd already been with Orochimaru several years by the Chunin exams. (One thing you have to say, she didn't get as warped from being around him as just about everyone else did- including Anko. She's a bit "off" but much more normal than the others- including Jyuugo and Suigetsu. That makes me recall the scene where Karin and Suigetsu basically mock both Jyuugo and Sasuke as being really stupid for coming to Orochimaru by choice. Jyuugo overtly, Sasuke by implication- because he did the same thing.)

As to this episode aIm again annoyed at how they topredoed Karin and Sasuke in this one. Sasukes face when he stood over her to say seeya was a wierdly kind expression, not the psycho one he had here, and his expression in the bear fight was also warm and friendly. not blase neutral.
Sakura was fully in character and strong as shes been in ehr resolve the next couple of episodes are gonna rock.
end of next episode is most likely the rescue. but im also partial to 214 as well given that 215 is entitled the fated two.
I don't know about the bench scene 'changing' anything, other than maybe just undermining the foundation of her infatuation with Sasuke. The recent manga made it look like she currently has feelings for someone, so unless she is currently in love with Sasuke, I think the bench scene revelation will simply help Sakura understand what she already knows, that she is in love with Naruto. At least that's my opinion.
As far as the episode goes, I didn't really care for it. Personally, I hate flashback episodes even more than fillers, since at least with fillers we're seeing something new. On top of that, for the first half of the episode I felt like some SasuSaku fan was basically reading me his/her manifesto. I know the point was to show how Sakura was realizing how foolish her crush was, but I just don't like to have these old scenes fed to me again.
Though now that I think about it, adding these extra scenes does make her declaration at the end that much more dramatic. I was reading some of the comments on Narutoverse (where I usually stream these episodes) and most of the comments were from people who don't read the manga and were shocked by Sakura telling Sasuke she'll leave with him.
I just hope the anime studio doesn't add too many SS flashbacks when Sakura tries to kill Sasuke, right before the rescue. I feel like they could really turn her hesitation to kill a comrade into a "I still love you and alway will" moment. I'm pretty sure Naruto's rescue will be at the end of the next episode, since I feel like the anime usually ends episodes with that sort of thing. We'll see though.

the bench scene will reveal to Sakura that Naruto is the one, love of her life, her soulmate just like kishi did with MinaKush.
i can't wait tell she finds out. happy.gif yes her love or romantic feelings (but still complicated) seems to be focused around Naruto now. ever since 484 her feelings seem stronger for Naruto and getting deeper.

Can't read the second blue kanji (the subtitles get in the way) but the title is Fight ____ (blue kanji) Weekly (black kanji). She's talking about boxing though.

But what I saw in the chapter was very different from it ... and for me it was more a NaruSaku. I wrote a theory on my blog. You are in Portuguese. But nothing that google translator can not solve. http://themanara.blogspot.com
I'll try to translate a part here
What really happened: Sakura asks herself about why she had fallen in love with Sasuke. She remembers how his initial admiration for him was superficial and the moment when began to worry him for real (when it was contaminated by the cursed seal). But at no time she come to any conclusion about your original question "when I fell in love with Sasuke?". Instead she regret having seen "too late" the dark about Sasuke. Unlike Naruto, he always knew, she says, and completes : "Just me was last behind (by Naruto and sasuke) Yet I have not changed."
That is, she admits that even after discovering the "darkness at sasuke" she has not changed her attitude immature. That is what the next scene, the classic scene where she begs for Sasuke not to leave, with an declaration of love absolutely childish! Which ends with the same calling it annoying. Then comes the scene where she begs Naruto to bring him back and she thinks: "I was crying until you [Naruto] I held you, hoping you would make everything better, while I did nothing. ".
Then she concludes that Sasuke is not the person they thought he was (flashbach to the scene of the first reunion of the team 7 in hiding Orochi). Then remember the recent scenes, when she "declared herself" to the blonde and heard by him the same determination to save Sasuke, even after there is no more promise between them. Then with a "sorry and thank you " directed at Naruto, she concludes that will take care of Sasuke herself .
My conclusion from all this filler: she loved sasuke superficially. She finds no one right answer to that house when she really fell for him. And she resolves to kill him to save Naruto
more NaruSaku and I bet it has more in later chapters. blessed fillers.

I actually enjoyed it. And its basically an episode of Sakura reflecting on when and why did she fell in love with Sasuke. And by jolly, they got it right. However, the fact that she realized that Sasuke is not the same doesn't occur until after she has healed Karin.
I don't know how this will work, does this means we will lose her crying scene while healing Karin which will make her shed a tear as well?
But Manara, very good post!
What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

In fact, in chapter 212, when she remembers the first meeting of Team 7 she says "but sasuke is no more the person I always thought it was".
It's almost exactly what she says when they meet him after injuring Karin (next chapter).
I do not think Sakura's tears are exactly a proof of love. She went through an extreme situation. Decided to kill Sasuke, and lie to Naruto and the others and when he got where he wanted, even seeing that the situation was terrible, failed to kill Sasuke. Until then she had not shed a tear. She just collapsed when she could let their guard down.
