Wait wait, I have one thing to say. This is not a romantic moment, this is a Sakura moment. Her time to shine as a medic. She basically performed emergency heart surgery on Naruto to keep him alive, while they reached Minato's.

 

On the manner of the CPR...this is a Shonen manga, a sudden kiss is completely out of place here. It may not be a full fledge passionate kiss as some fans here wanted, but is a kiss nonetheless...just done the Shonen way.

Well I saw forneverworld a review, he is not pleased at what Sakura did. He said sakura should do the heart while hinata did the mouth to mouth, so if hinata was there it wouldn't be an issue for him however because sakura did it, it is an issue.

Still so much for the ns will never kiss stuff, it is CPR but it's still lip to lip, oh naruto is been so unfortunate in kissing others, he accidentally kissed Sasuke and was aware and hated it, now he's unconscious and sakura gives him CPR, oh the irony.

I wonder what will happen when naruto recovers and how she will react.

It's going to take some time for this chapter to settle in my head.  Several things I don't understand, but will perhaps be more clear after a reread.

 

My medical kink was fired up with this chapter.  When I realized Sakura was out of chakra and could do nothing beyond real world, I thought, "The only thing left is cardiac massage."  Then I clicked the next page and she cut into his side.  I was literally yelling at my laptop, "CARDIAC MASSAGE, SAKURA!  DO IT!  DO IT!!  DO IT!!!!!!!!" 

 

And SHE DID.  Wow.  Great job, girl.  Way to hold it together and do what had to be done.  Sakura rules.  She absolutely RULES.  You guys were crying for her to be a heroine....  

 

Kishimoto is going somewhere with the mouth-to-mouth, too.  Count on it.

 

P.S.  If you see this Nate River, I thought of you when Suigetsu helped Karin.  Several panels of your favorite Team Not Seven.

 

It would be so much fun if Naruto would woke up when Sakura has her lips on his.

I'm strongly looking forward to the interaction between her and Minato.

This chapter is awesome.

I would never expect Kishi to let Sakura be this awesome again.

I'm so happy to see her determination to not let Naruto down.

This is crystallizing Sakura's feeling.

 

I was surprised she didn't thought about Chiyo.

I expected her to react more strongly about the fact that Kurama was extracted from Naruto.

I expected her to be more in shock.

That's the only thing that disappointed me in this chapter.

I believe she was just being extremely professional in order to save Naruto, but that would have been so dramatically beautiful if she would have cry and scream Naruto's name while she was healing him. I honestly expected something like that because of 662 chapter, when tears was brought to her eyes at the end.

 

To me, there is nothing pairing related in this chapter, but I won't deny that the fact that Kishi choose to made her do mouth-to-mouth to Naruto may be brought back at some time.

Or it's just fan-teasing maybe ^^

Some fans are saying it's sealing NaruSaku to never happen for ever. I'm trying to think about it, and maybe it could be an argument... I don't know really.

 

It's also really beautiful that she has his heart in her hand. Really a beautiful subtle significance hopefully.

 

Sakura just kick ass in this chapter.

She was so quick i loved it.

 

I couldn't help myself but thought about Minato's words "take care of my son". It was foreshadowing from Kishi.

 

Also, Karin as Kushina's chakra ! It must be a Uzumaki thing.

 

Also, Madara is looking for Kakashi's sharingan it's true... there will be a lot of drama again.

Well, at least the reaction is more sane than I was expecting so far. Honestly, this is arguably one of the trolliest things Kishimoto's done with pairings in the entire manga. The closest thing to kissing, yet it lacks all of the impact. It's just CPR. Medical treatment.

 

Also, Madara's sudden complete wardrobe change was.... odd, to say the very least.

 

Kishi has got nothing on Mashima. What with his constant trolling of Jerza fans.... and he is one of the few mangakas who's perfectly aware of his fandom's ships. Case in point, the last 2 chapters of FT. And the infamous almost kiss scene.

 

You know....  Gaara is one of the few people who knows that Naruto loves Sakura.  He was there, back in Part I, when Gamakichi called Sakura his girlfriend, and Gaara knows better than anyone to what lengths Naruto was willing to go -- emotionally and physically -- to save Sakura's life.

 

It's interesting that he's the one there to see it the other way around.  I wonder if Gaara will say something to her, or Naruto at some point, about their feelings for each other.  

 

Me, I don't really care so much about the pairing as I did back then. But I would definitely hope for an amusing 3-way interaction between them, like;

 

Gaara: You should thank Sakura-san. She's the one who kept you alive long enough for us to seal Kurama in you through CPR.

Naruto: CPR?? What the heck is that?

Sakura: Waah!! 

KakashI: *grabs Sakura from strangling Gaara* What he basically means is, Naruto... is that Sakura kept you alive by kissing you. ON. THE. LIPS. ^3^

Naruto: ........

 

*long silence*

 

Naruto: *blinks* *eyes widen slowly* WHHAAAT!!??? SAKURA-CHAN KISSED ME!!?? SAKURA-CHAN FINALLY KISSED ME!!???

Naruto: Sakura-chan, I never knew you loved me that much!! Let's do it again!! ^3^

Sakura: Not on your life, DUMBASS!! *whacks*

 

Bonus points if Temari gives Gaara a small whack for being "inconsiderate"

 

I wonder, since we now no that resealing a biju will save the Jinchuriki I wonder if Bee can/will be saved?

I can see her kissing him when he wakes up and Gaara saying: "I don't think he needs CPR anymore..."

 

A better scenario would be the one I suggested above.

CPR technically doesn't count as kissing, but sakura is the first girl to give naruto lip in anyway. If naruto was awake and aware then it could count, but other than that she is doing it for obvious reasons to save him.

The thing many people are overlooking though, don't pay attention to the CPR, pay attention to that moment she pauses after the first CPR move and looks at naruto and has memories of him wanting to be hokage. That's the meaningful part, she doesn't want him to die at all and really this is a scene pushing her closer to him. She doesn't want him or his dream to die. If this chapter did anything it's not only sakura caring and going so far for naruto, it's ensuring his dreams come true. Sakura has become truely a long way, she isn't selfish like her early part 1 counterpart. Sakura may just be moving towards naruto.

I would be satisfied with a forehead kiss or a hug with both of them reciprocating. My innocent NaruSaku..

 

but you did this...this... CPR...with a handjob yes its just cpr and my hot tea was HOT it hurt me when i saw that panel.

 

Now, my mind will start fabricating more things... I once thought lip-locking was impossible in this manga (well beyond comedic scenes)

 

or more like my NaruSaku dreams only falls on sweet, innocent and fun moments but this...it made me think/dream a real NS lip-lock wouldn't be that impossible.

 

 

now seriously, i'm just happy Sakura is doing great. i wouldn't put the cpr in a romantic light but she sure is getting fired up and it really shows her deep concern over Naruto. When she thought about "his stupid/ridiculous dreams" it is so Sakura-like, similar to the iron country scene, she hates how Naruto puts his life on the line most of the time and he never thought about his own safety, that's why i feel Sakura, although she supports his dream, hates the fact that he gets hurt all the time.

 

i hope kishi will let her shine more.
