that "wanted" seems too rude to me... I'd use the verb "desire" here....
What word did he used in the raw? Was it ほしい?
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the raw, it's 望む you're right, it's more like desired Rin Nohara, than wanted Rin Nohara, but the sense is there, it's just bad worded.

Well, Im not 100% sure if naruto will make an appearance. unless it is of sakura continueing to revive him

I wonder if I should list all the possibilities that I have not yet seen on anti-NS. I mean maybe they have said it but I always just think what the new excuse is. Right now, I feel like "if no Hokage, she will leave Naruto for not able to truck with losers."
Didn't someone bring that anti-NS excuse up a few days ago on this site or was it you?

It wasn't me. I did bring up on myself, but nothing that I truly see from elsewhere. I don't know, maybe I am just thinking opposite, for fun. Guess no challenge does make things too quiet.Didn't someone bring that anti-NS excuse up a few days ago on this site or was it you?

In regards to how chaotic some people have reacted since 662 with hinata tripping unable to do anything with naruto and well 663 which caused again a small uproar with fans thinking the CPR was the main point rather than what Sakura said, its very funny how people tended to forget how sakura changed regarding naruto but likewise, at this point when naruto is recovered, I'm suprised many didn mention how naruto has changed in regards to sakura. I mean like Hokage Naruto blindly sought it for respect but instead he got respect just by working hard, its because he earned the respect of many he could be hokage now. Sasuke is doing it for the wrong reasons, a grab for power. But if Naruto has changed in his goal regarding Hokage and Sasuke then surely his goal with Sakura has changed too, obviously he would only want her to come to him on her own choice or if he felt able to confess once the sasuke deal is done. But considering the land of iron situation, as his respect for her has never fallen, only shaken for a brief moment would be the best way to say it. Other than that, Naruto has never thought down on sakura or his feelings for her like we saw with sakura regarding sasuke. At this time I feel it wouldn't be a suprise if we get a future scene kinda like the end of 631 where she asserted herself to fight with naruto even though he simply thought she should rest, thats the kind of scene i still enjoy most, naruto didn't know she had the power, but when she mentioned it, that staredown was one of the reasons i liked NS, naruto should know by now she isnt going to let him do everything alone.

I have a theory, eve if naruto doesn't become hokage sakura will STILL be with him. I have a hunch that naruto will eventualy NOT want to become hokage any more. on the account of his actions from past to present (i.e the future when just about everything is done) every one will already respect him, witch was the whole reason WHY he wanted to be hokage... for people to look up to him. But so much has happend that it looks like just about every one in his village already dose. sakura dose not like naruto becsuse of his dream, it goes much much deeper than that. But since it has been repeated all over this topic and the last I wont bore you with details.
Will Naruto become hokage? Maybe. Will Sakura marry him either way? Yes. so much has happened (too much in fact) is say otherwise.

I've wondered about this too. I think he will become Hokage, because the message is about making your dreams come true, and never give up. It is not about the world's political issues or key to peace, because that is what would stop him. "I realize a better solution would be--". If Naruto didn't want to become Hokage anymore, Kishi would've told us by now. He's getting closer to his dream, Shikamaru is set up to be his right hand, Sakura has faith in him, and the villagers want him as their Hokage. Changing the road now would be inconsistent.

Sakura is not the girl that begs Naruto to become a Hokage so she can be First Lady (an example). It's not like she said, "You can't die here. The dream of yours is here, and I can be in the same status as you," or something close to it.
I bet It's what antis probably think i wouldn't be surprised if i see an excuse like that .
I still can't believe that they made an excuse for the CPR with you know what , it was the most disgusting thing i have ever seen i can't believe that they actually stooped themselves that low what were they thinking ?

Yeah, I admit, that was tasteless. I didn't know what to say. Just left, feeling ashamed. I think I should do a routine on mocking them. Not that way because that was low and maybe not here because I got to be respectful to the rules, but I want to think the possibilities on how to counter it.

Well if you do come up with anything post it in the ANH thread , i also saw a SS comment about Ch 666 so i posted in the ASS thread here , it wasn't on the level of the NH one but it was quite something new .

I think there might not be a Part III, if you remember the interview Kishi did He stated this:
"I plan to wrap up Naruto conclusively, and then I might do something new." - words from Kishi.
Based on that I doubt there will be a Part 3. As far as his (new) work goes, It may take place in the Naruto verse, but focused on Naruto's kid. At the same time this new work could be something completely different. The guy does need a break though considering that he held off his honeymoon for 10+ years. Though I am pretty curious what Kishi plans to do after Naruto ends. However we all know there will be one more arc after this war, and that'll focus on Team Taka, and the long awaited final battle between Naruto and Sasuke.

Hey, I would really appreciate if anyone could trasnlate these two panels for me:
I've run across the argument that Naruto is saying here that Naruto is dropping the promise or saying that it doesn't matter to him anymore. And I just wanted to be positive on what exactly Naruto is saying, since I have seen conflicting fan scanlations of these lines.
